The gas is fine and not very costly and the store inside has a lot of foods and drinks of every kind almost no liquor I have seen it's full of things the public visitors find what they are shopping for I. Have been going to these stations and always find great things that I was hoping to find and take home not so expensive the staff's there are really great at helping anyone that is needy for something they help immediately!! It's a great place for gasoline and lots of snacks and liquids to drink to good healthy fluids! All the cumber land stations are S great as the last one I visited. I like them the best ! Wow. Justed pulled in here for the first time ever for some cigarettes and some snacks. Forgot my license so the girl, rightfully so, asked me for ID. I got out to my card, grab my CT pistol permit as it has was right there. Walked back in girl said we can't take this. I said it was a state issued ID. She grabbed them and said "have a good day. I was like what! Your not selling them to me. I gave you ID She Waived me off and said have a nice day again. I left everything on the counter. Its all on the the video tape. What awful customer service. I know I should not smoke little girl, but I am 50 years old and I needed a driver's license to get my permit. Love their coffee. They have great customer service and the pumpkin spice coffee is world class.

I cannot stand when I have to waste my time, and call corporate to report the nonsense that went on here. I came in yesterday and made a purchase. I forgot the purchase on the counter - when I left. Said clerk knows such is the case. When I get home, realize my folly, and head back to the store. I tell the clerk, same one who checked me out - that I left the purchase behind. Does nothing. This is my favorite Cumberland Farms. Right by downtown Fairfield, the store is huge, plenty of gas pumps, and parking spaces. I am a fan of their Colombian coffee, appreciate the 10 cents off per gallon when filling up, and definitely like the fact that they have cases of Poland Spring water at a discount. I like the fact that Cumberland Farms is a family owned, privately held company who sells high quality branded products, treat their customers and employees well. This may sound like an over the top, glowing review, however I ask that you check out the Post Road location for yourself -- definitely a class above. read more

Normally a decent place to pull over really quick get some gas grab some coffee and maybe a quick bite to eat for lunch or breakfast. However if you get stuck being taken care of by Vasile, take my advice put your stuff down turn around and walk out. This kid is beyond pretentious and obnoxious. He walks around thinking that he's the king of the hill and it shows in the way he interacts with customers or the lack of interaction and his ignoring of them. This usually is a four to five star place except for that kid. If the managers or district personnel are reading this be smart get rid of him. read more

There are 3 Cumbys in the area, 1 in Stratford and 2 in Fairfield. This one falls in the middle. It's better than the other one in Fairfield because this one sells the delicious Cumberland Farms brand goodies and the other one on Black Rock does not. But Stratford wins for better service. read more

A homely woman with facial hair and weird growths on her chin behind the register literally licked and sucked food off her fingers then beckoned me to come forward with my order without so much as purelling her gnarly hands. I tried to defer to the clean handed cashier but she insisted. Now I'm in my car feeling disgusted, insulted and heading to CVS to buy Lysol to spray everything down with. Clearly Cumby's employees are low IQ Ebola monkies, who don't have the common sense to clean their hands before they touch people's things then I suggest using an entirely different location for your convenience store needs. Great gas station for cheap gas prices!

85cent coffee on Mondays and FREE COFFEE FRIDAYS in October. The coffee is always fresh and the coffee bar is clean, what was experienced by another reviewer has never been the case for me or my co-workers. We work across the street and some number of us are in Cumby's every day. Fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries all nice quality. Never thought you would eat food from a gas station? Neither did I but if you stop in to Cumby's, you may find yourself changing your mind! read more

Their Gas is usually cheapest on post rd which is a big plus. It's filled with snacks coffee and other treats. It has a larger selection than most gas station convenient stores and is much cleaner. But other than that it's nothing special. read more

I want to plug the tire-air-refil. It's free (ask inside), allows you to chose your tire pressure (defaults to 32 but my tires ask for 33), works fast, and it shuts off automatically when the tire is inflated. Mega win. The inside is clean, well-lit, with a wide variety of snacks and a very impressive coffee spread. read more

Prepaid $60 for gas and the pump sit off at $40. Went back to the clerk to settle the discrepancy to be told i only gave him $40. I told him absolutely wrong and to go check his cameras. After 5 minutes, he came back and authorized the additional funds. His response was that it was my fault for not stating my desired purchase loud enough. Nothing like punishing the customer. Has anyone else experienced this? Either deception or incompetence is unacceptable. read more

Lose 2 stars because oftentimes they have several out of service spots and 50% of the time there is no paper to print out a receipt at the pump so I have to waste other peoples' time waiting for my spot to drag my kids out of the car to go wait 5 minutes on line to get a receipt. read more
