This is one of my go to coffee spots! I love their seasonal lattes, (so worth the 7 bucks) and they also have a ton of regular flavored syrups and ground coffee as well. The inside is small but cozy, and the staff is always welcoming. I've never tried their food, but they have a bunch of breakfast options. It sucks that they are closed on Sunday, as I feel like that would be one of their busier days. But I would much rather come here than Starbucks to support a local coffee shop. read more

Two North has been my go to place for bagels and coffee during my monthly shopping trips to Burlington MarketBasket. The bagels are reliably, good especially the cinnamon raisin pictured, and the lattes as well. My very particular friend says the coffee is quite good The chicken walnut salad is an excellent alternative if I'm not in the mood for a bagel. There are lots of sandwich and coffee options, but those are the selections I stick with. The staff is always friendly, not always efficient, but they mean well. Sometimes the music is loud, which makes it tough to have a conversation. I can't quite tell when it's going to be busy. Some Saturdays it seems to be full of community meeting groups and take out orders, and others It's quiet. I've been going there for at least five years and no plans to change. read more

My vanilla latte was basically correct - lingering finish, not bitter - but the beans either weren't the freshest or were just not ground finely enough, because I didn't get the awesome flavor that coffee can deliver. I found my True North Coffee experience perfectly delightful--tasty food and excellent, strong, black coffee. The dining area is spacious and clean, modern and comfortable. Above all, the staff is delightful and entertaining with their familiar banter with both regular customers and each other. There's more than one "have a nice day" offered to customers, with pleasant greetings that feel far from those corporate places with their enforced pleasantness. This is no "WELCOME TO GREAT CLIPS" vibe, not at all. I dined in and ordered a large coffee to go with the Sweet Heat sandwich. True North has a great variety of flavors and is great for when you need a break from the coffee chains. My only hesitation with them is that from my experience visiting over the years, their posted hours that they are open are not reliable (For example their Yelp profile says they are closed today and I visited them this morning). When in doubt I would say it's best to call ahead and confirm they are open if you are visiting from out of town. read more

Iced latte is poorly made. There is no grinding of coffee. They turn a spigot, which is probably iced coffee and mixes it with milk. Ratio is off, watery. Inconsistent as at times it is more iced coffee than milk (tried this 3-4 times). Not sure if this is for speed or what but I dont think the demand is high to justify this shortcut. I was looking for a cafe around the area so that I can have some brunch while studying. I found this place and was so glad to have! There's a large parking lot here so you don't have to worry about finding parking, it's also free. Inside is quite spacious and there is free WiFi. The bathrooms are clean and tables had a little something when I sat down but I just used a napkin to wipe it off. I ordered an iced toffee caramel coffee which was delicious! I then ordered an egg and cheese on a French toast bagel. It was the perfect combination of not too sweet and savory!! I would definitely recommend it! read more

True North Coffee is my favorite coffee shop on the planet. I grew up in MA. Lived in Providence, now live in Arizona - have been to every major city (and their coffee shops) in the states and - ya. It's official. This is the best ImO. I mean my house is painted in Dunkin colors ... no really... the actual Pantone pink and orange colors. And yet here I am saying that True North is the best. Why? Flavored coffee without syrup. TONS of flavors to get creative with and the flavors are all infused into the coffee bean. All the magical flavor without the cough syrup vibe. It's like a caffeine miracle. I've come across a few spots over the years that have a flavor or two like this. Nope True North has like 20. I went with a pistachio at first. Perfect. Cracked out I still went back for more because it was too fun to mix an match on my second round. I went with 1/2 banana 1/2 Hawaiian Chocolate Nut. Dude! It is SO delicious I want to bathe in it. Thank you TN owners for jumping out of your comfort zone, taking the risks involved with starting your business, and for all the attention you put into this amazing coffee house. You're the coolest. Ordered online Sunday Feb 27th at about noon. Paid online. Daughter went to pick it up, no interaction with anyone there, just grabbed the bag. I ordered 4 items - two scones, banana bread, and a magic bar. Daughter gets back - three of the items were crossed off and said "out". No other note. Nothing stapled to bag saying "come see us". No refund. I paid $11.90 for a dried-out, stale magic bar. It wasn't good. I didn't bother calling - sure, maybe they make it right. How about some customer service in the first place? read more

True North is a great independent coffeehouse located in a strip plaza behind the Shell station and yards away from a busy "Dunks." They offer a solid line of hot, cold, and frozen beverages including specialty coffee drinks, espresso, cappuccino, latte, chai, hot chocolate, fruit smoothies, and bottled drinks in the cooler, plus baked goods, desserts, breakfast items, and sandwiches too. This is a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying a good cup of coffee (or iced coffee) and a lemon square. There's table seating and comfortable armchairs. Free wifi is offered here (I check my FB, email, & Yelp) as well as books and games on the shelf. Mass Lottery tickets are also sold here. I've really enjoyed the coffee here, both hot and iced drinks, which has a nice robust flavor. I have to agree with other reviewers that the coffee here tastes better than the "Bucks" which has a burnt taste. The staff is friendly and quick. If I'm driving through Burlington, the preferred stop for my "caffeine fix" will be to True North over the numerous coffee chain outlets in the area especially near the mall (I'll make the 8 minute drive through town and down the hill). read more

Stopped in for a quick pick-me-up after running errands and was happy with our True North Coffee experience. We saw that you could order online, but didn't realize that it was through the True North Coffee app, so we stood in line to order. Pro tip: download the app before you go for a seamless coffee pick up. It doesn't look like they're allowing patrons in the cafe itself at this time, but someone will come out and take your order/payment on the sidewalk. Social distancing was enforced with ground stickers in the line to order. There isn't a menu outside (at least that I saw), so it's best to look up what you want on your phone ahead of time. We ordered an iced Chai Tea Latte and a True North Mocha. Both were tasty and I would gladly order each of these again. read more

My favorite coffee spot in Burlington! I recommend the sugar daddy or the nutty irishman they also have a stellar white pumpkin one. The employees are always so kind! Maybe I should try one of the flavored coffees, but I stuck with my generic iced coffee, cream no sugar. It was good, don't get me wrong -- but nothing special. Staff was very friendly and I love the atmosphere of local coffee shops. Reading other reviews and seeing photos, maybe the food is where it's at, but if you're just looking for a cup of coffee, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

Heard from a friend that this place was great, and had the opportunity to park the work truck and run in. Conveniently ordered from their App which was awesome, and had the sweet heat sandwich with bacon and sausage. Incredible sandwich, soft fresh bagel, and a great sauce. not too hot but just sweet enough. Almost like a Big Mac sauce with a kick. Also got an iced green tea with pomegranate added on. I'm a big fan of their tea offerings and the customization options are great for switching it up on the regular. Can't wait until the next time I can come here again. Highly recommend. read more

i come here literally all the time but i would 1000000 perfect recommend the sweet heat (i get it with no bacon.) the sauce is to die for i could wax poetic about that sandwich for years. also, the baked goods are amazing! the muffins (especially the chocolate chip and the blueberry) are so soft and moist and delicious. the cookies are big and delicious, and by far my fav of the cookies is the cookie dough. they don't have it a lot but it hits different. the coffee is also very very good, and their new cold brew hits the spot always. the employees are wonderful and the coffee shop has such a lovely atmosphere. finally last time i went they played 1Direction which is such an A+ in my book. i love this place. read more

Consistently great bagels, toasted just right, with a good amount of cream cheese. True North is the only place I've been able to reliably get bagels I love. Their ice coffee and ice lattes are also particularly tasty, again, consistently great. I've only had a few of their baked goods, but the muffins have been good, and the mini-muffins are a delight. Also like how they've been trying out different online ordering and point systems. I can easily put in an order in the morning via text message, and pick it up on my way to the office. I've been here a handful of times and was never super impressed. It's mediocre. I went today to give it a try for lunch. There were only 2-3 other customers there. I wait while 3 teenage girls make one coffee, then finally place an order. $8 for a chicken salad sandwich. Yikes! I wait patiently to the side, I see them put out a few bags of food so I check to see if they are mine. Not mine, so I wait at the counter with a line of site to the kitchen. All 4 girls enter the back and start chatting away with coffees I hand while customers are waiting. Not helping anyone. I finally call one of them over to check on my order and she says it's coming... then she starts to make it. I shouldn't have to ask you to please make my $8 sandwich.. horrible customer service. I am obsessed with True North and I don't even live within 2000 miles of it. Their scones make me like scones. Their coffee makes me crave coffee. And I never even used to drink coffee or eat scones! The breakfast sandwiches are to die for. I love the "Sweet Heat" which is bacon (I sub it for ham), egg, cheese and spicy chipotle on an everything bagel. It's delicious and hits the spot every time. The coffee drink menu is huge; you can order sweet and delicious coffee drinks with every kind of flavor combo available, including almond joy, mocha turtle, peppermint, etc. Best of all, the service is fast and friendly. The place is clean and there are tables, chairs, couches and outdoor seating to enjoy. The place is busy and gets a line, but it moves fast! read more

When I like to "treat" myself, I head over to true North. The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast sandwiches and quiches are amazing! My favorite is the special on the everything bagel. So much flavor! The mini donut muffins are awesome as well. There are so many flavor options for the coffees that I always have a hard time choosing one. Prices are slightly higher than your DD's coffee but they offer a reward program and you get a free coffee on your 10th visit. read more
