This was not on my list today but we had to detour this far out of New Haven because most of the city was shut down for a marathon or something. Anyway, since we're here, we learned that this was some of the more inexpensive fuel in the area so I took the time to fill up. I go to the store every morning and get a cup of iced bold coffee. Most of the time it's ok but today I saw a different color in the coffee. It was darker. I was so excited when I drank it. It was definitely stronger and not water down.The staff there greets me every mornin with smiles it starts my day off. I like to give a shout out to Mel that made the coffee. read more

Would like to personally thank employee beverly, younger woman, she was very helpful and kind to me.. AHHHH the NEW Cumby's. God I love Cumbys. This new location is set up right off of the Rt 40 connector in North Haven in the same spot the old "J ROOS" was. This is what I call the "MECCA" of Cumbys. The store is brand new, has tons of gas pumps, and inside there are plenty of choices for snacks and beverages. This location also includes the "Chill Zone" which is a entire area with soda, coffee, iced tea, slushies, and milkshakes. Basically they have everything you need and who can go wrong with .99 cents for coffee? I really love their coffee, and this location keeps everything very clean and organized. All workers have gloves on when preparing food- which is always great to see. Great location, staff and prices. You also need to enroll in "Smart Pay". I have saved over $200 in a year just with that..... can't go wrong with .10 off per gallon...and it is free. read more

The girl that works in the morning is terrible. No personality at all when you give her your money she takes it plops to change down on the counter never says one word I find her extremely rude and have no idea why she is still working there. I go there quite often in the morning and I cringed when I have to see her she is just awful what kind of supervisor allows that kind of behavior to happen to greet customers read more

Now, the most expensive gas station in the state, more than Fairfield county, more than every rest area on the freeways, more than their only competitor in the area, bjs, by 30 cents a gallon. I actually have to drive to Wallingford to save 40 cents a gallon! The biggest thieves in the Cumbys family! This place just blatantly rips you off and never lowers their prices. read more

Don't listen to the reviews that people leave, Anyone who says the employees are rude is just a miserable person who has low standards for retail workers. If you're a good person you won't care about the service here. Just a great spot for good food with reasonable servers. Believe me, this is the best late night food spot around if you aren't an unreasonable miserable elderly person. read more

There is one employee I want to make notice too. Her name is Ashley. I think there's more than 1 ashley so I'm going to put it out there that she is African America! She kicks butt there! I've never seen one employee do everything at once like she does. Cashier jumping from one register to another so the line isn't out the door, cook, clean, refill everything, stock everything and this is all while cooking someone's food and making sure it's done in time!!! She is the BEST employee. She doesn't complain, but if anyone deserves a raise, and employee of the year it's her!! I love going in there in the mornings, and my kids love seeing her! I had an awful experience there on early Saturday morning about 2:15 a.m. in the morning.March 23,2019. I went and got two of my favorite egg sandwich's and started over to have them heated up. I saw the attendant was already bust and went back and put them back opting for the taquito's that are hot on the roller cooking. When I got up to the register the rude guy accused me of stealing the egg sandwich's so I unzipped my jacket opening it up and emptied my pocket's. Then he only rang up the the cooked taquito's and refused to ring up what else I had. I was wondering if this treatment was because I was a gay white man. Well I don't need to stop at my favorite place late at night anymore.That was one angry person working. I hope you deal with him. I should really call the corporate office. read more

I went into Cumberland farms today. Typically it's my favorite gas station. I am from out of town and thought I would have typical Cumberland farms service. Not here. I used the restroom before I was going to get coffee and some food. An employee was walking out of the stall as I was walking in. She left the stall with urine on the seat, did not flush, and did not wash her hands. When I came out she was holding gloves with her dirty hands about to touch food. This is inexcusable and disgusting! I will never consume anything from there again. read more

For a string of a couple weeks, I swear half of their pumps were broken which was really annoying. Other than that, I like this spot for gas because it's cheaper than the Henny Penny down the street. Granted you find a pump that works, accepts cards, and there isn't a line, always a solid spot for gas. read more

May 8, 2020 - I went into the store last night around 7:00 PM. In the middle of the COVID crisis, the clerk was a) not wearing a mask, and b) had the glass barrier, intended to be between the customer and clerk turned sideways, out of the way, providing no protection. As I stood at a safe distance with my mask on she looked at me rudely and was moving forward with no regard to social distancing. Overall her attitude sucked. I will not be back in your store since you have no regard to the safety of the public or your employees. read more

This place used to be the best, but now it sucks!!!!!!!!! The Coke Zero has been out in The Chill Zone for TWO MONTHS. They ran out of ice yesterday. Went in today for a coffee and snack; there were no donuts and the food selection was extremely limited. It's dirty, and cups and lids are scattered like confetti near the soda machine. The management should be ashamed, because they are running this location into the ground. read more

I walked in to buy gas last night at a store that has a grade A health rating with signs that restrict customers from entering without masks, however the associate did not apply these standards to his customers or himself. When I walked in, there were 2 EMTs without masks or gloves and the associate didn't have on a mask or glove. This associate was the same guy I watched make a pretzel for a guest a couple days before without a mask or gloves. I asked for a pack of cigarettes from this man and asked him why he wasn't wearing a mask and he said, "they're uncomfortable," then when I asked him to put on gloves before he handed me the cigarettes he said he "didn't have any." I walked out. I'm very uncomfortable with the fact that I'm a regular customer here and there are associates not taking this global issue seriously but openly advertising that they do. I won't return and will spread the word. read more

The store is modern and clean. The parking lot is large but sometimes it's so busy there are no spaces. The company gives many free rewards to smartpay users. I've had the lunch sandwiches a couple of times but they really are mediocre at best. The coffee, and iced drinks are good and priced right. read more

Dont know what other reviewers are talking about when they say the help is rude..ive had quite the opposite experience..very friendly staff,great ,cheap coffee and very well set up store...the only thing ill take points off for is the "fake" egg sandwiches..wish they would use unprocessed eggs but i guess that would be too time comsuming,home fries/hash browns are very good,pizza is not bad..3 stars for the food,4 stars for the coffee and great service here. read more
