This is the most organized, professional, efficient drs office I've ever been in. Great staff, friendly, quick and thorough.....

This place is ridiculous with how inefficient they are. You go in and out of rooms in and out if waiting areas. Your appointment is at one time and 4hrs later your still waiting. The doctors don't have adequate staff to communicate with individuals of other languages. How their studies could not be bias towards white individuals as there are almost no other ethnicities. They make appointments for you they don't ask if you would prefer a different time or day.They don't have enough parking. The doctor has other locations but makes you drive all the way out to Hagerstown md. I really understand that they are moving but it is ignorant the way they treat study patients vs nonstudy. I really can't suggest this place or the location. They have one doctor worth seeing dr whorow. Any way we have to come to this location because of this damn study. This office is extremely racist, non inclusive and hostile towards black workers and patients. They are also lying and that they have shuttles that transport you during the traveling days. You will have to have your own transportation using your own car between the offices that they go to. The lead Candice Miller and the Owner John Wrobleski are very racist individuals and they fired me without notice after I have found that the it department was sharing my emails with the billing department to send in a group email to scold me. After I found out printed them and tried to notice the Dr. but was interrupted by being fired over the phone by Candice Miller after she rushed home. They all stood around my car 4 people in total with smiles and threatened to call the police on me. Don't walk but RUN from this place they not only lied about the hours 6am to 7pm but they fired me with no reason and made an extremely big seen over something that they initially did. I was surprised to read the negative reviews. I have been seeing Dr. Warrow and the other docs for over four years. They go out of there way to accommodate my schedule since I still work full time. In fact, I now live 2 hours away and I still come once a month. I would not trust anyone else with my eyes. They are current with treatment options and conduct research trials to contribute to the science. If making a decision about seeing one doc over another is based on waiting times, I would say that is foolish. I want to be seen by the experts, not just have anyone who gets me in and out of their office. I want to see (have my sight) for as long as I can and I know they are their to do their best to preserve my vision. read more

My grandfather had retina surgery and has had continues iritis for the two years following. Every time he goes, the office makes him wait 60-90 minutes after his scheduled appointment time for a follow up. On today's occasion they arrived on time for their appointment and two hours later have still not been seen. When I called the phone number it went to a call center. The woman at the call center justified the wait time and said that it was normal. I asked if we could get ahold of the front desk and she said no, but that she would deliver the message that "I am unhappy we would have to wait this long." To exasperate my "feeling" about this terrible customer service, I have no confidence in my grandfather receiving the quality of care that might be justified for this wait time. I suggest this place be your 5th or 6th choice on the list of providers. Good luck! read more

Take heed folks...DO NOT COME HERE! They bring in hordes of people at the same time then call them one by one instead of staggering the appts. Fourth time for us and same results. We wait anywhere from 2-3 1/2 hrs. The majority of patients here r over 60 and have a hard time sitting for that long. The staff at front desk and girl who sets up appts r miserable and not friendly. It's obvious they don't like working there and hearing any complaints or requests from patients. The girl at check out rolled her eyes at us when we asked her to repeat the date she gave us cuz we couldn't hear her clearly. I feel so sorry for these people waiting so long and there isnt sufficient seating and some had to stand! We will NOT be returning.. we will now be going to Mid-Atlantic Retina which is a 30 second drive down the street in the old Food Lion Bld. I hope others do the same. read more

I am commenting on the service rather than the care I have received at this office. The short version: I have never witnessed such arrogance and such brazen disregard for people's time that I see every time I have been to this office. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Avoid it like the plague: there are other opthalmologists around who have competent office staffs who don't abuse their patients by making them wait for hours in the waiting room. Now for the details. I started coming here years ago to have my retinas checked for diabetic retinopathy. The office is highly regarded by my optician. I'm sure he has never experienced the endless purgatory of their waiting room. I came a number of times, over a number of years, and it was the same every time: wait a full hour past the appointment time, go to the second waiting room and wait another 1/2 hour, get dialated, wait another hour, doctor finally examines you. Wait another 1/2 hour for a consultation. I never got out of this place in under three hours for a simple retina check. A couple years ago they cancelled my appointment, and left a message on voicemail. Either my voicemail malfunctioned, or the office lady started talking before the beep because I only got the second half of the message, which had no word of the appointment being cancelled. I thought it was just a reminder. So, both me and my wife had to take a half day from work to make their appointment, as they have no evening hours. When I arrived, they let me wait at least 15 minutes before they got around to telling me my appointment had been cancelled. When I mentioned that I didn't get the word, the office lady claimed she called three times, which was an outright lie. I wasnt at all argumentative, but she was unnecessarily surly about my mild complaint about not hearing about the cancellation. I decided at that point that I would never go back. And I didn't go back as a patient, but my elderly mother-in-law developed a problem that requires shots in her eyes. The first appointment took nearly five hours of, once again, mostly waiting. They promised her that her shot appointments would be a lot quicker. As I sit here in their waiting room writing this review, it is 12:30, and we are still waiting. Her appointment was for 8:45. It seems to me that they make all of their patients come early, instead of taking the time to schedule people at different times throughout the day. How hard can it be to spread their appointments a bit? Avoid this place like the plague. You could make a round trip from Hagerstown to Baltimore to see a doctor there in less time than it takes to wait for the incompetent boondogglers at this place to get their act together. They have had years to fix this systemic problem, yet they make no effort at all to ease the wait. read more

Excellent doctor and staff. His staff as well as Dr Hu have been practicing safe distancing before this pandemic got out of control. Dr Hu is an excellent doctor. He and his staff are very personable and easy to talk to. read more

I do not care about waiting, These guys have trained over half of the Retinal Specialist in this area. I am real touchy about my eyes and Dr Wroblewski is one of the few individuals that I trust with my eyes. He has brought me back from blindness twice. Sure it takes a while to get through his office. Your eyes are them most complex organ that your body posses and each case is different. Appointments are staggered but people also come in early and that does back thing's a bit. A lot of time the back ups occur when insurance companies stall approving procedures that can not be acted on until diagnosed and with many of these they need to be attended to sooner than much later. I am now suffering from Diabetic Macular Degeneration in the right eye, which requires a monthly visit to the Doctor. These guys went to bat for me with my condition in order to get me a top of the line eye treatment that cuts down the number of injections in my eye from one a month to one every three years. I just have to go in monthly or semi monthly to have my eye pressures checked. You are not going to get any better eye treatment any where else in the area. These guys are also on call for eye emergencies at local hospitals. I only have one set of eyes and I trust them to the best, they have been my Retinal specialist for 20 years now. read more
