[[HIGHLIGHT]]Good coffee, good vibe, great service, and delicious Argentinian empanadas.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's with the visit.

This was a nice little bakery which served empanadas and other sweets. We tried a Spinach Artichoke Empanada and a Custard Bun. Both were tasty, and since we ate there, it came with sparkling water and a little biscuit / cracker. The service was very friendly and quick, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there is limited indoor seating but a decent amount of outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space was very clean, too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Amazing little coffee shop/bakery. Service was kind and polite. Empanadas were delicious and the coffee was great. Highly recommend the chicken empanada. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The coffee shop itself is smaller inside but has plenty of outdoor space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be back!

I got ice matcha latte and Dulce de leche. The matcha latte was pretty good, I think if they added a cold foam on top it would be even better! The Dulce de leche was alright, the dough felt like it wasn't fluffy enough. Overall, a good experience!

Just found this bakery/cafe right off of 9th street and it's walking distance from my work!. Stopped in around noon for a light lunch and coffee. It's a tight space but even with about 7 other people in the shop it wasn't over crowded. There are tables outside as well which will be amazing when it's warmer. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. When you first walk in there is a sandwich display, empanada display and pasty display. Everything looked amazing! I ordered the ham and cheese empanada, pastry with dulce de leche and a small iced latte. The empanada was SO GOOD I wish I would've ordered another the inside was cheesy and warm with the perfect flaky crust. The pastry was buttery and not too sweet. The latte was top notch! Can't wait to come by and try more food items especially the different empanada fillings and sandwiches! Will be a regular customer here for sure!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little cafe with great outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service there is very friendly. They serve Argentina pastries. There are many different empanadas fillings to choose from. Parking space is limited, so if you find street parking near by, might just take it

If you all haven't been yet, you must go check out Cumbre near the downtown mall. They fuse Argentinian and Italian flavors and it is 100% amazing. To start, the service there was great, everyone was really friendly, and the overall atmosphere was homey. It is a little small but they worked with what they got and there's indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. As far as the food...oh...my...gosh I wish I had gotten more to go haha I had the best beef empanada and pastry to go along with my latte. The empanada was flavorful and flakey and the pastry was like a croissant with dulce de leche and powdered sugar on top. I didn't get the name of it though. They also included a little cookie on the side that was super good but, again, I didn't get the name. Everything was really good though so I feel like you can't go wrong. Highly recommend checking out.

Just a bit outside of downtown, this freestanding space offers drinks and empanadas/pastries. I am not much of a coffee person, so I took a spinach and artichoke empanada and a dulce de leche pastry to go. Notably, the spinach and artichoke includes cheese, so not much for the dairy free crowd here. It was tasty though, and the dulce de leche offered just enough of a flavor contrast. These items weren't big for the price, but they were an interesting addition to the Charlottesville food scene.

Amazing lattes (we had both hot and iced!). Coffee was fresh and strong. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute little spot to pick up coffee on the way to somewhere, but tables are quite small to really sit and do anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Warm atmosphere, staff went above and beyond to get to know you and make your experience the best![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was obvious that they do the same for all of their customers, as they knew many people's names the minute they walked through the door. The coffee was excellent, and the empanadas were delightful. See you soon!

As usual, I'm looking for the best coffee roaster to go to, and Lone Light Coffee was on the top of my list in this area. The coffee shop is on the smaller side, but it was warm and comfortable. The baristas were nice and three of them gave me their input on which single origin I should choose for my pour-over. POUR-OVER - MKT Price +6.50 for Mohammed Aba Nura - Ethiopia (tasting notes: Strawberry, white chocolate, hazelnut) I wanted the craziest tasting option they had, and they recommended this one since it's pretty popular and well-liked among customers. However, one of the barista said he didn't really like it himself. I figured I should still try it. The sips I had while it was still warm was pretty juicy and sweet, but I really didn't like the notes once it cooled down (about 20 minutes later), which tasted sour and off-putting. I should have listened to that one barista and went with a different single origin option. Overall, good roaster -- just unfortunate that I tried something that wasn't for me. The baristas seem knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. I would love to come back next time and try another single origin offering.

The baristas are excellent at making coffee, friendly, and the seasonal drinks are creative. They have a cardamom syrup that's delicious in lattes. The shop itself is very cute, with a handful of tables and stools at the counter. There's a couple of tables outside too. I wouldn't recommend trying to get work done here during a busy time since it's not a huge space.
