Carrillo's Concrete was the first Yelp-guaranteed contractor who responded to my request, and quoted a flat price which was under what other non-guaranteed contractors quoted. They maintained communication with me throughout the process, even when we had a rain delay, and came out to do the work on the next clear day. Four and a half hours later, we had a nicely repaired walkway with aggregate that was almost a perfect match for our existing walkway. We'll always be able to tell that there's been a repair, but people who hadn't seen it before probably won't notice that it's been repaired. Carrillo's Concrete did a great job with this repair. We cannot recommend them more highly.

Communication was prompt and value was very fair. You can tell a lot about a contractor by how they clean up. These guys cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day; including sweeping and hosing down the street to keep the neighborhood tidy. They parked in ways to minimize getting in our neighbor's way. They knocked on our neighbor's doors the day before the cement truck was coming as a courtesy. They took out some grass during the driveway demolition and replaced the grass as well as the irrigation. Phenomenal customer service. Things happen during demolition and construction. A few things were damaged but they were honest and fixed them promptly. These guys know what they're doing. They are accountable, kind, and a hard working team. I am incredible please with how my driveway turned out. I will be looking to them for my next project. Maybe a new fence?

We were looking for a possible leak and I contacted them asking if they offered any type of maintenance on their equipment since we don't know what to look for or how it works. We were told there were some valves and a shut off valve located on auto fill feature. Again, not being familiar with any of the equipment involved with said feature we weren't sure what to look for. We ended up digging up the rocks and finding that it was in fact the auto fill feature not stopping causing it to constantly drain out the front of our home. Immediately called the company and left a message and haven't even received a call back. I ended up calling another company to come help me with the feature and show me how the system works. The only advice I received from AJs was they don't offer maintenance and they recommended I call a leak detection company. For the amount of money the former homeowner paid for this backyard I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of care for their faulty water feature, the lack of compassion for helping me to understand how the system worked and the lack of response.

The project included removing several large palm trees, installing drainage systems on both sides of the house, pouring new concrete, and installing turf. One side of the house is now fully finished with clean, well-done concrete, while the other side has a combination of concrete and turf that looks great and is very functional. In the front of the house, they created a large concrete driveway that leads into the larger side yard, which really opened up the space and made it much more usable. They also installed turf in the front yard with a large concrete walkway surrounding it, giving the whole area a clean, finished look and nice curb appeal. Tino was punctual, professional, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire project. His crew worked hard, stayed organized, and paid attention to the details. The concrete work is smooth and well finished, the turf looks natural, and the drainage system was installed properly to make sure everything functions well long-term. You can tell they take pride in their work, and the quality really shows in the final result. I'm extremely happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Tino and Llano Grande Landscaping Corp to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality landscaping, drainage, and concrete work.
