Weirdest thing. I recommended this co. for a client who did use and then called to sched an estimate for myself. Same guy came out (Eric) Measured and then never got back to me. I emailed him a couple of times. He said he was on vacation, said must have gone to junk etc. but finally sent the estimate. It had wrong window colors and incorrect number of windows. I sent messages asking him to adjust and never heard back. I called office a few weeks later asking if i can get the estimate and hopefully order windows but still got to return calls or messages. read more

Its amazing how some of these window companies will try and fleece you by up charging you thousands of dollars for one window. I had old, rotted single paned French doors that I wanted to replace with a slider to get a cross breeze through the house. I knew about what the job would cost. Cunningham D&W came out and gave me an honest quote for a Milgard slider. Anyhow, these guys are legit compared to the other guys. The slider looks great too. I went with the Milgard V300 series, and they are high quality and look beautiful. I was given an install date with plenty of notice, and when that day came, the crew was on time and ready to go. I had 15 windows installed in one day. The install crew were very friendly, but most of all respectful to me and my property. I couldn't find any issues with the installation. I've bought a number of Andersen windows and sliding doors from Cunningham over the years. They were all installed correctly, the installers were punctual, and the cleanup was done. Recently a plastic part on a sliding window broke making the window "unlockable". I reached Jim Dehart and despite being well out of warranty he ordered the broken part and had it installed as soon as he received it. I received 3 or 4 different quotes for windows, Cunningham being the MOST expensive. HOWEVER, after my disaster of home renovation, I DID NOT go based on price (which you should never) and instead, went on EXPERTISE. It doesn't matter how great your windows are, if they are installed incorrectly, your house will leak and that will create water damage, mold, etc. I went with Cunningham and Eric because they did NAIL IN installations, which is what I wanted and the most expensive. The crew came out and they were very fast, efficient and knew what they were doing. I also appreciated the crew were employees, not subs. They even laid out rugs so they wouldn't get my carpet dirty. Shout out to Jose and Miguel for showing me how stucco/flashing and all the nuts and bolts work. It did take time to get them to come out/scheduling, so you must be patient through the process. But overall, if I had to do this over again, I would have gone again with Cunningham windows. Hopefully I will never have to replace windows again :) BTW they DID NOT solicit me for this review. Cunningham installed French doors and side lights for me a few years ago. I've been very satisfied with them. Recently, I wasn't able to lock the door. I alerted Jim Dehart and he set up a service call right away. The service tech arrived this morning and fixed the problem. It was not an issue with the doors, but with the settling of the house. 5 star experience from beginning to end. I first got a quote from Jim back in 2018 and not only was their pricing competitive with the other estimates I got, but he was really nice, honest, and straightforward, no pressure. Ultimately decided not to replace windows at the time, but if we had, I knew I'd go with Cunningham. Fast forward to this year and finally decided to do the windows (and screen door) and didn't bother with other estimates again, just reached out to Jim and got an updated quote. I knew prices would had gone up (thanks tariffs, Covid, and inflation), and they did, but it was worth it to us. Confirmed most things via email (he's responsive!), went in person to see the windows and ask a few questions about different options, paid a deposit, and then waited. There was a decent four month-ish lead time to wait for arrival and installation, which seems normal in this new world we live in, but they stuck to the estimate they provided. Installation went well. They sent instructions in advance to clear out space around the windows and take down window coverings, which we did. When they arrived, the crew was timely and friendly. It took about four hours to install, and heads up it's a bit of a production with them removing/popping out all the old windows, then bringing in the new ones - there also was some hammering and sawing noise along with lots of caulking and such. It was an interesting process to observe (with earplugs in) but once it was done, they looked so nice! I appreciated they brought in tarps and vacuumed the mess before they left, and made sure I knew how all the locking mechanisms and opening/closing worked. They also had to unscrew some brackets and things for our blinds and put them back properly, which I appreciated. All in all, would definitely recommend Cunningham to anyone interested in windows and doors! I'm definitely a fan. read more

I decided to higher Cunningham Doors & Windows because not only was their price very competitive, but the easy and no pressure communication with Jim. After talking with Jim I thought he was the owner because he took so much pride in the company. I did get to meet the owner, Dayle, and he too was very trustworthy, kind, and knowledgeable. The installation crew was clean, professional and you could tell they they liked working together. A few weeks after the install I had a question about one of the closet doors. When I called they schedule a time to come out that week and address my concern with the closet door getting stuck. What I learned is that my daughters shirt was stuck in the tracks. Whoops!
