I just moved down to Binghamton for an employment opportunity and I saw this place on Yelp when looking for a nice place to grab some breakfast. I came in and was immediately greeted and taken care of by the owner. She made time out to sit and chat with me as well as recommend places to go and shop. The food was very good and they accommodated to my dietary restrictions, it felt very homey. Their coffee is pretty good as well, they have interesting flavors such as Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Raspberry, they taste exactly how they are labeled which is very interesting. I think I'll be coming back here a lot in my time in Binghamton

Today we got to experience what so many people are talking about! The delicious food combined with outstanding customer service was such a treat! Breakfast or lunch you won't be disappointed!

    Cute - right?

The food was great - owner was awesome and made us feel so welcome. Great vibe and decor is awesome! Loved working on the puzzle while we waited for our food - we could have stayed there all day!!! Food was delicious and my daughter is still talking about how delicious her inside out grilled cheese! If your in the neighborhood stop by you will not be disappointed

Skip it and go to batch. The people taking orders always seem put out and the food is just ok.

It's a nice little shop, the coffee is good. We loved the design - it was kind of old style but in an attractive sort of way.

Love this place! You feel like family every time you go. Get the almost famous chicken melt, I add tomato and bacon to it and it is amazing.

It is super cozy and comfortable inside--like sitting in your own dining room (they still do the cooking for you though!).

As luck would have it, it was Binghamton Restaurant Week and we attempted a walk in - first available was three+ hours later - but the hostess mentioned we could get the RW menu at the bar and two seats were calling. Lots of choices on the menu but friend and I ended up having the same meal! Cup of Cauliflower, potato and leek soup to start was yummy - very comforting, not too thick, good flavor - I could have stopped here! But fortunately did not! Main was spectacular! Salmon with everything bagel spices served over pearl couscous in a risotto style was inspired (honestly, I will try this at home)! I hope this is a menu regular because I will crave this for many more meals! Add a black Manhattan and this meal is a treat! (Took the dessert course to go - blueberry cronuts were better than chocolate but both likely suffered a wee bit from loss of ambiance and slight steaming that occurred on drive - good for sure but did not compare to the rest of the meal). Shout out to Tommy F for exceptional service - attentive but not intrusive. Ambiance is lovely (the lighting dimmed as we sat - hysterical) but we also scored the most comfortable seats in the house (I hate a high top stool with no back and no padding on the seat - those stools look nice but should go away). Also love the hook under the bar.

This is a difficult review to properly balance. We'd seen the rooftop restaurant from my son's new…read morecollege apartment and went for dinner. After reading the sign indicating we need to see the host inside, we went. It was packed and looked modern chic, with low lights and high tables and tall chairs. We didn't have reservations and got the sorry, but we're full, to which I said we wanted to eat upstairs. To that, we got "okay" but that is a "different experience," which I frankly took as pretension... until I got upstairs. Then we understood. It was mostly empty on this Saturday evening, opposite the main restaurant below, and had a single person working the whole space, a Bar tender who explained we were to pull up the menu with a QRC, order, and they would bring the food; if we wanted drinks, we needed to come to the bar. Ordered food. Went to bar and waited. Good local craft beer on tap. Decent view, pleasant weather. And then a half hour passed. For sandwiches and tacos. Few minutes later, I went in to make sure our order was sent and that the kitchen actually received it. There was no animated chef in toque at a stove to indicate it was working, but she assured me it was. Another 15 minutes go by, and our beers are low, and we're considering.... Leaving or raising a stink when the bartender leaves her bar, looks at us, and goes down the stairs without a word, returning a few minutes later with nothing. That was odd, but seemed like progress. A few minutes later, our food arrives. Perhaps 50-60 minutes after ordering it. The runner tells us the manager apologies for the wait and has comped all our food. Without our having to say a word. We ate a fine arugula salad with watermelon, blueberries, and cheese. A good chicken sandwich with the most unusual Parmesan parsley fries--they were more thick chips, fried into curls, and topped with fried parsley and grated Parmesan. If you order it on the side, it comes with aioli, which was excellent. My burger was outstanding. I could taste the smoke, and it came with not slices, but small cubes of bacon. No need for sauce. My wife's shrimp tacos were very good eating. Frankly, it was so good, I *might* have forgiven them the wait. They did right to acknowledge their mistake. When we visit Binghampton again, we'll make reservations for the main dining room, which we were told has a much larger menu. We paid our bar tab via their Toast app. So yes, table service, but no waitron. It was a different experience, true to the host's word.

Our server name was Dawn, we both ordered the fish dinner mine I got fried, which came with the salad bar. Before our meal came we both decided to have a salad(lettuce, tomato, cheese and croutons). After our 1 bowl of salad our food comes. MY FISH WAS HORRIBLE!!! It was so soggy and mushy...just gross, I've never had fried fish that was mushy, it taste like they soaked it in water for forever. So while my husband sat and ate his grilled fish I had nothing to eat because my waitress decided to go on a cigarette break after she dropped our food off. About 20 min later she finally returns and I tell her what's wrong with my food, and ask her if she can just take it off(since I didn't eat any of it) and just charge me for the bowl of salad. Ms Dawn decided instead of changing me for the 1 bowl of salad I had, she was going to charge me $10 for the entire salad bar. I didn't have pasta, or soup or anything else...just 1 bowl of salad. $10.50 for 1 bowl of lettuce with tomatoes cheese and croutons. Such a RIP OFF!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN...WARNING THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!! DONT GO!!!
