My mom is also a fan of their freshly made flour tortilla chips. However, inconsistency with the seasoning and preparation holds them back from a higher rating. The rice & beans are occasionally over salted, which unfortunately happened with a chicken burrito and a rolled taco plate, even though they were perfect on a different visit. The quesabirria taco plate had nicely seasoned meat but suffered from being a bit too salty, soggy, and lacking enough cheese. Similarly, the dry version of the Hot Cheetos burrito missed the mark because the Cheetos were slightly stale and the fries inside were mealy rather than crispy. Their excellent carne asada still shined. I want to emphasize that I'm not trying to be salty towards Barrios because of my own personal preferences and I will continue to return.
