Clean inside with young friendly workers.

My family including is obsessed with Handel's lately. I am not a huge ice cream lover, but this ice cream is certainly unique and of premium quality. Family favorite flavors are: Graham central Station, O Dough or anything cookie dough and the Orange dream flavor. The weird thing about this place is the choices of scoop size. If you want a small cup with two different flavors they charge you for a medium. I ordered one scoop, it was the smallest scoop I've ever seen. Maybe 1/4 cup? The best value is the four scoop sampler size.

This Handel's is huge! My man got a coconut ice cream that seemed to have Samoa Girl Scout cookies, chopped up in it. I thought it was incredible until I tried the pecan praline, knocked my socks off! Shout out to the nice girl at the counter that recommended it to me. We asked if we could get a cup of water and they gave us a little cups, but you have to fill them up at the water fountain that's near the bathroom. By the way, the bathroom was very dirty, somebody had pooped all over the place and there were no paper towels in there. You could even smell it out by the water fountain so I was a little grossed out. I did go into the other bathroom, which was much cleaner and washed my hands before I ate my tasty snack. We ate outside, there were some tables by the parking lot. It was very chill.

Who doesn't love Handel's? I've been to several other locations, but this was my first time visiting the one in Roseville. I received the same excellent service that I have experienced elsewhere. On this visit, I tried the Coconut Caramel Delight, which is a perfect blend of coconut ice cream with a caramel ripple, coconut flakes, and coconut cream cookies. It tasted exactly like a Samoa cookie! The staff was fast, friendly, and very helpful with the menu. I enjoyed sitting on one of the many outdoor benches at dusk to enjoy my ice cream.

Some of the best ice cream I have had! The texture is smooth and creamy. It does taste fresh and the chocoholic chunk was perfect balance of dark chocolate and chunky chocolate pieces. The waffle cone is thin so you dont have too much cone but it holds up great. The set up is nice because as you walk in you are guided around to the counter and have time to view the menu and ice cream flavors. They offer 2 menus with sections for Chocolate, Vanilla, fruit, and vegan flavors. This makes it easier to pick because you just have to choose the base. Staff are very fast and serve you with pleasure. Super kind and we dis not feel rushed like at other ice cream parlors.

It's always a good time at Handels. The ice cream is great. The service is good and the memories are forever. This is my go to ice cream spot with my family. The flavors are unique and classic at the same time.

It was hot today. Like 100+ and a long ride home. What to do? Get ice cream for the road. Handel's is a longtime favorite in the Sac area. And they bring the ice cream yummy goodness. Since I was driving I decided on a shake. They make a shake out of any ice cream they have. And you can add malt or make them extra thick. Wow. I chose the graham cracker ice cream and added malt. Super good. The consistency was thick enough. I could drink the shake withiut getting brain strain from all the sucking. Haha. It was blended nicely and you could still taste all the ingredients. Super good. I also love the Taro Ice Cream. Not super sweet but the Taro was the star. There deifinitely chunks of taro in each bite. One of the better versions I've had. Service moved well. At this time they had 3 or 4 workers taking requests and making each order to serve. I could see this being very effective if the line got long. The long counters make servicing large groups very easy. The place is pretty simple and kind of had a throw back setting. Nothing fancy, just set the order in and get the people their ice cream concoctions. The menus are pretty detailed and they have so many flavors. It may take some time to order but that's half the fun.

So many ice cream options... chocolate based options, vanilla based, dessert/pie flavors, ice cream with brownies, caramel, nuts, and candies inside. Everyone can find a favorite flavor and style here. I got a small and the portion was huge and wow... this mint Oreo is delicious! I have been hearing about this place and I really respect the quality, the variety, and the fresh ice cream made daily. They weren't not strict about trying flavors and checkout was quick and seamless. I appreciate the good service and positive experience as a first time customer. The mint has a really good strong flavor and the ice cream is so soft and fresh. This place is for everyone! They even have Italian ice and vegan style ice cream/treats. The only thing that is confusing is that one door is for the exit one doors for the entrance. You stand along the wall and pole where you just line up in a big line. I messed up and came in on the wrong side. They have sundaes, milkshakes, specialty sundaes, chocolate covered bananas, waffle cones, and regular cones. This is a place with a lot of of options and somewhere where you will never get bored of the same old flavors.

Below average scoops super disappointing every time I come someone else's looks bigger than mine. Just depends on the day. Wish it was more consistent. Other than that. Seems clean inside standard handles ice cream shop decent service mainly younger kids working there.

Sooo creamy. Randomly decided to stop in on a Friday evening since I was nearny. There was a short line that got longer as time passed. I decided to try the taro and mud pie flavors. Both were really good and super soft and creamy. Decided to get both flavors. I asked if you could get like a half scoop of each, but the scooper said you can only get one flavor in a small, and two flavors in a medium. So I got the medium and the servings are quite large. Would come back to try other flavors. It came out to $6.75 before tip.

Inside the decor is black and white and overall has a modern vibe. The employee greeted us when we walked in but didn't offer to take our order. Then she left to the back and we saw there was a kiosk to order from to the left of the cashier area. I did notice there was a line forming after I ordered since there was only one kiosk. There was 3 people in line and one of the employees came out to turn on a second kiosk. The kiosk was taking a while to load and I felt like the employee could have just started taking orders instead of waiting for the kiosk for good customer service instead of keeping people waiting. I guess some businesses just only use kiosks for ordering now. Their menu offers matcha, coffee, and sparkling soda drinks in addition to various flavored sundaes - matcha, ube, banana, strawberry, boba, and coffee. I went with my partner and we ordered the honey sundae to share. The description said it's made with local honey. It came with a piece of honeycomb. The soft serve is made from Hokkaido milk and it is silky and smooth with a subtle sweetness. I prefer Asian desserts since they are not overly sweet and it was not overwhelming sweet. The honey paired well to give it some sweetness without being over the top. The honey flavored sundae was probably the most simple compared to the other sundae flavors but still delicious! The sundae was a big amount and was enough to share between two people! I don't think I could have finished it myself! They don't skimp on the portion size. Overall, I would defintely come back to try more sundae flavors and also I want to try their matcha drinks!

Plenty of space to sit. We ordered the Purple Rain, Honey Cubed, and the Tokyo Banana Cream. Purple Rain hit. It had the deep purple color yet not overly strong ube flavor. The uniqueness is the milk cube cakes. Hard to describe the texture and flavor. Either way, it added a nice touch to this one. Honey Cubed was simple. Perfect balance of different sweetness. Only gripe is that the honey does harden so there's a little bit of work to scrape it out of the cup. A battle I'm okay with. I didn't get a chance to try the Tokyo Cream but based on how it was devoured, I'd say it's a win as well. Three wins, with many more flavors to try. I'll be back. I'll drag more of my colleagues next time.

When he got there, our order was ready but he had to wait a long time because the employees were very disorganized. As a result he, along with other customers, had to wait quite a while before being helped. He even had an employee ask if he'd been helped and the employee just walked away instead of getting our order. And when my husband got home and we finally opened our ice creams they were VERY melted, almost like soup. Mind you, we live a 2-minute drive away and the ice cream would not have melted like that on the drive home. Also, the last time we ordered ice cream to-go back in May, our cookies-n-cream ice cream had almost no Oreo in it. It was like eating plain vanilla ice cream with tiny bits of Oreo in it. Even when we got to the bottom of the tub there was still almost no Oreo. We have gotten the same flavor in the past and there used to be MUCH more Oreo. I attached photos of our ice cream from May. We have been long-time customers, and we have noticed a decline in the quality of the ice cream and service overall. I expect a much better product for the price.
