Coffee & Cream
Jenna B.

First time visiting and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and patient. Cool display on the wall and a lot to look at while you're enjoying your treats. The coffee & cream I tried satisfied my affogato craving.

Sesame and Vanilla Swirl and Banana Latte
Karen A.

It was a busy Sunday, they had interesting seating options from couches, mini stools, booth or table and chair options. The sesame ice cream has some texture, and is not overly sweet which is nice having the vanilla to add more creaminess and sweetness. The latte had good strong coffee, slightly over powered the banana flavor but still a nice iced latte to enjoy.

Matcha sundae

Absolutely phenomenal! Strawberry sundae: h the strawberry jam/ puree was strong flavor and fragrance Matcha sundae: wish that the soft serve was matcha however it's Hokkaido milk for all the sundae, which was still good! It doesn't have that strong Hokkaido milk white rabbit flavor like Japan but this was still pleasant. The matcha powder gave me energy and flavor still Cheaux : super fresh and perfect like beard papa, and the almond nutty pastry was super good and could hold its own even without the Cheaux cream Hokkaido mochi tart: delicious, surprisingly soft, stretchy and tender! It was not hard or crumbly at all! The execution is great and so is the taste You order at a kiosk, service was expected to be minimal as it's order and pick up situation The music was good, the decor trendy and the tables and floors clean at opening. There was a musty smell at the back side of the booth that we were sitting in but I just moved away and it was fine Overall everyone in my family approved and agreed every single item was delicious! Would definitely come back if I was in the area

This ice cream is amazing! We stopped here on our way back from a trip and I want to go back. My son loved his Black Sesame swirl cone because it wasn't super sweet. Neither was the Hokkaido Milk cone or the Coffee and Crème. The ambiance is very quirky and cute. However, it is a small shop so it can feel crowded pretty quickly. We did go at a slow time so we were able to relax and enjoy our ice cream. I will definitely go here again.

Oh Taro Boba, Purple Rain, & Ichigo Bliss (strawberry)

This is still my favorite place for soft serve ice cream in the area. The Hokkaido Milk and Coffee & Cream are usually what we get, and the Purple Rain is also really good. The Ichigo Bliss is a newer flavor but it was okay for me. The others enoyed it. The Taro Boba was enjoyable, though it was on the sweeter side.

Cute little space with a flavor for everyone! The service was with a huge smile and a ton of patience. I had the sundae flavored with Ube and the matcha cheese tart. Both hit the spot on a hot day, and were not excessively sweet.

Wow ok, I was in the area and saw the signage I was intrigued so popped in after visiting a neighboring business. First off, I love the decor. The furnishings say "come here with your friends and stay to enjoy your goodies " so inviting ! I peeped the menu and the food case and decided I would grab some of the tarts and a croquant choux for our Super Bowl gathering. You order from a monitor/tablet so interaction with staffing is minimal. There was a gentleman working hard behind the counter. He kindly greeted me and handed me my items . Wow such unique goodies. We really enjoyed them. Will definitely come back to try a sundae or coffee treat.

The Boba Sundae~ Sweet & Creamy, boba is chewy since it's in ice cream

We stopped in on Friday to see if it was worth the hype! First of all I LOVE the black and white decor, it's like stepping back in time! Staff are very friendly as well! We ordered the Cloud 9 and The Boba Sundaes. The cotton candy is insane, my hubby devoured his drink! My eldest and I thought the sundaes were sweet and creamy! Boba is chewy since it's in ice cream, next time I'll try it in a drink. We'll be back! SYOY! :-)

Tokyo cream just like desserts, are what dreams are made of! Located in the heart of Roseville, you'll want to try Tokyo Cream over and over. The theme of the restaurant is pretty much all black-and-white. Including the restrooms. You place your order at the kiosk at the counter, and when your order is ready, your name will be called and you pick up your items from the counter. The Thai tea: it was a little disappointing. Keep in mind that it's made with what they say is imported ice cream from Hokkaido Japan. IYKYK. It was definitely interesting to have ice cream and Thai tea, but the tea was rather weak, and I was really looking for that caffeine kick. The Hokkaido ice cream with the strawberry purée over. It was really tasty. I am a sucker for strawberries, and this did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious! We also purchased a croissant with the filling with strawberries. This was really disappointing. The croissant tasted more on the stale side. The filling was underwhelming, and the expectation of strawberries went way out of the door when we realized that they had literally taken one straw and put three slices of a strawberry sticking out of the croissant. That was it. That was the strawberry. I definitely would not purchase this item again. Cool place and tasty items. This definitely will be on dessert rotation. I'm excited to try some of their other drinks! It absolutely is a place worth checking out and it would be fun on a date, hanging with friends, or even taking the kids to.

One of my new favorite ice cream spots! The servers were nice and helpful. Adding on, the shop itself is very cool and different. My favorite is the matcha ice cream and it tasted so creamy me soft! I'm not a big fan of soft ice cream but the texture was a good amount of soft and stiff. The honey ice cream and black sesame swirl ice cream were extremely delicious too!

Came here since it's conveniently located next door to Vons Chicken. The Hokkaido Milk soft serve was pretty good (I'd give it a 3.5/5). While it's not quite the same as the ones you find in Japan, it's still a solid dessert. I was a bit surprised they charged extra just to put the cone in a cup. The shop itself is beautifully designed and definitely an "Instagrammable" spot. However, the drink menu was quite limited and confusing. I had to ask about the ingredients for most of the unique names: "Dragon YZ" apparently means Dragonfruit and Yuzu (how would you guess "YZ" is Yuzu?). What in the world is "Mystichrome GT"? My son got the Dragon YZ, and while he enjoyed it, I found it to be quite sweet. If you don't have a big sweet tooth, you might want to ask for 70% sweetness next time! Overall, a good spot if you're already in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for the dessert.

We were meeting up with a friend and needed a place to sit down and talk. We had just finished Top Golf and needed a place to chill and catch up. However, most of the coffee shops closed at 6pm. Tokyo Cream popped up and I noticed their specialty coffee menu and decided to head there. They also closed at 8pm! The inside had a trendy aesthetic to it. There were cool lights and art all around. It was quite busy around 5:30pm when we arrived, but we were able to find a table. They offer desserts, coffee, matcha, milk tea, and soft serve ice cream. There was a variety of different options available and everyone could get something different! I was debating between the banana matcha, but ended up getting the banana coffee. The banana flavor was present and it didn't taste artificial. The banana cream distributed at the top and bottom made it so you could taste the flavor more, which i loved! I'd definitely come back again to try their other menu items and get that banana matcha!

Boba Lane took the drinks to the next level by adding individual items to each drink to make the overall presentation fantastic. Definitely a feast for your eyes as well! We ordered four different drinks; basic boba milk tea, pineapple whip, Oreo mochi, and a strawberry drink. Although we loved them all, our favorites were the pineapple whip and strawberry drink. We visited a few days ago and my kids are begging to go back. We can't wait to try other flavors during future visits. Thanks for the great service and awesome drinks, Boba Lane!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Nice and polite older Filipino staff/owners. The place was empty on a Sunday afternoon, with a couple customers coming in for to go orders. I first noticed the mini foosball table and saw another mini video arcade game, along with a few other table games. The place was clean and spotless (restroom also), with wooden tables and chairs. There was a cute photo background on the back wall. I took a few minutes to look over the menu and decided on the iced Vietnamese coffee for my husband and the "Caffeine Collision" (Thai tea and Viet coffee collab) for myself. Our drinks were ready quickly, and we decided to sit and sip for a few minutes before making our way back home. I loved my drink. I had done that same mix at a Thai restaurant Yelp event where they had set up a drink bar, so I knew it would be good. The balance of a strong Vietnamese coffee and the sweetness of the Thai tea blended perfectly. Next visit I will try their halo halo or avocado shake, both of which have good reviews. *** Non Boba Drinker Review ***…read more If there is such a thing as a designated driver for a boba run, that would be me. I've been on countless number of trips to boba shops over the last 20 years and although I use to succumb to peer pressure early on, it's been so long now. Years since I've ordered anything. But for some reason, when I was the DD to this spot, they had a "Best Seller" menu board. My previous go-to was always taro and after they confirmed it was fresh taro -- actually, they warned me it was fresh taro because customers have something else in mind -- I succumbed. Their verbal drink descriptions were so finely tuned like a Hollywood actor, they made everything sound so good and they were right. No boba added - just their Best Seller "Taro Smash" I watched them make it and after the fist few sips, I immediately regretted not ordering the large. And since I'm such a rookie at this now, I forgot to give it a shake and get the ice to do what ice does. After that, it was even better. So, hands down the best taro drink I've had. The staff was super friendly. Place was clean and easy to get to with plenty of parking.

Array of seats, comfy chairs, and tables to hang out and chill at. Lot of boba places in the market now adays so the standard is rather high, but this place sits nicely in the mid tier. Still if you're in the area, and wanting a nice place to spend a few minutes to unwind and enjoy a nice drink or a snack or two, then swing by the place.

I like to use self service so this is good option and amazingly they can be customize with a NOTE!!!! Not all places have a note for example if the customize doesn't show the request you like to adjust, you can put the note in. I got matcha order and like less matches so not too strong and there is no option for that so the Note request part is so wonderful. When I submitted? I saw the worker quickly take the receipt print out and he did read the request and the drink come out as expected. For the store itself is a very new store and look ok since the seating itself is belong to the mall I'm guessing. The only thing is they put fake plant by the self serve area and it stick out so when I typing order it keep brushing my hand. So far this is the best boba place in this mall! Love it.
