Not sure why it took me this long to try it but now im addicted. Dangerous it's right by my office. Came here on a Friday afternoon with colleagues around 3:00pm. Not busy at all. Plenty of space to sit. We ordered the Purple Rain, Honey Cubed, and the Tokyo Banana Cream. Purple Rain hit. It had the deep purple color yet not overly strong ube flavor. The uniqueness is the milk cube cakes. Hard to describe the texture and flavor. Either way, it added a nice touch to this one. Honey Cubed was simple. Perfect balance of different sweetness. Only gripe is that the honey does harden so there's a little bit of work to scrape it out of the cup. A battle I'm okay with. I didn't get a chance to try the Tokyo Cream but based on how it was devoured, I'd say it's a win as well. Three wins, with many more flavors to try. I'll be back. I'll drag more of my colleagues next time.

We decided to come here because I saw on TikTok and this was place popular. When we walked in it was super busy. They had two kiosks one in the front and one on the side which was kinda confusing because anyone can go to the side one since there wasn't a line for that. I needed to go to the bathroom and it was pretty big and decorated creatively. I ordered the double matcha cream ($7.95). I got the 50% sweetness knowing it would be super sweet at an ice cream place. The drink came out pretty quick but I think my friends order the ice cream and that took longer than my drink. The drink was pretty good. For an ice cream place the inside was really hot. They needed to bump up the AC. I want to come back for the ice cream. I think this place is good for what they offer.

Tokyo Banana Cream, Purple Rain, and Pistachio coffee

The service was great! They let us try the sesame swirl wasn't for us but it was good! It's very laid back and calm environment. Enjoyed the purple rain and Tokyo banana. The pistachio drink was refreshing and I loved how all of I wasn't too sweet!

Tokyo Cream is a Japanese dessert place that is located in a small plaza with other businesses. There is a small parking lot and it's easy to find parking. Inside the decor is black and white and overall has a modern vibe. The employee greeted us when we walked in but didn't offer to take our order. Then she left to the back and we saw there was a kiosk to order from to the left of the cashier area. I did notice there was a line forming after I ordered since there was only one kiosk. There were 3 people in line and one of the employees came out to turn on a second kiosk. The kiosk was taking a while to load and I felt like the employee could have just started taking orders instead of waiting for the kiosk for good customer service instead of keeping people waiting. I guess some businesses just only use kiosks for ordering now. Their menu offers matcha, coffee, and sparkling soda drinks in addition to various flavored sundaes - matcha, ube, banana, strawberry, boba, and coffee. I went with my partner and we ordered the honey sundae to share. The description said it's made with local honey. It came with a piece of honeycomb. The soft serve is made from Hokkaido milk and it is silky and smooth with a subtle sweetness. I prefer Asian desserts since they are not overly sweet and it was not overwhelming sweet. The honey paired well to give it some sweetness without being over the top. The honey flavored sundae was probably the most simple compared to the other sundae flavors but still delicious! The sundae was a big amount and was enough to share between two people! I don't think I could have finished it myself! They don't skimp on the portion size. Overall, I would defintely come back to try more sundae flavors and also I want to try their matcha drinks!

Love that they have charger ports in the seating area under the bench seats

After dinner treat with 5 kiddos! This place is so dang cute. Love the seating area which was plentiful to accommodate party of 6 easily. It was hard not over order as everything on the menu sound and looks so tasty! We end up doing a black sesame ice cream, purple rain, and cotton candy cloud 9. Ice cream was so creamy and delicious and each item was presented beautifully! Restroom was a one stall but very clean and cute black/white theme. You just have ant to look around at the decor in this place. It's cute! I gotta come back to try pastries as I don't barely had room after dinner.

Absolutely phenomenal! Strawberry sundae: h the strawberry jam/ puree was strong flavor and fragrance Matcha sundae: wish that the soft serve was matcha however it's Hokkaido milk for all the sundae, which was still good! It doesn't have that strong Hokkaido milk white rabbit flavor like Japan but this was still pleasant. The matcha powder gave me energy and flavor still Cheaux : super fresh and perfect like beard papa, and the almond nutty pastry was super good and could hold its own even without the Cheaux cream Hokkaido mochi tart: delicious, surprisingly soft, stretchy and tender! It was not hard or crumbly at all! The execution is great and so is the taste You order at a kiosk, service was expected to be minimal as it's order and pick up situation The music was good, the decor trendy and the tables and floors clean at opening. There was a musty smell at the back side of the booth that we were sitting in but I just moved away and it was fine Overall everyone in my family approved and agreed every single item was delicious! Would definitely come back if I was in the area

Sesame and Vanilla Swirl and Banana Latte

It was a busy Sunday, they had interesting seating options from couches, mini stools, booth or table and chair options. The sesame ice cream has some texture, and is not overly sweet which is nice having the vanilla to add more creaminess and sweetness. The latte had good strong coffee, slightly over powered the banana flavor but still a nice iced latte to enjoy.

This ice cream is amazing! We stopped here on our way back from a trip and I want to go back. My son loved his Black Sesame swirl cone because it wasn't super sweet. Neither was the Hokkaido Milk cone or the Coffee and Crème. The ambiance is very quirky and cute. However, it is a small shop so it can feel crowded pretty quickly. We did go at a slow time so we were able to relax and enjoy our ice cream. I will definitely go here again.

Oh Taro Boba, Purple Rain, & Ichigo Bliss (strawberry)
    Girlie M.

This is still my favorite place for soft serve ice cream in the area. The Hokkaido Milk and Coffee & Cream are usually what we get, and the Purple Rain is also really good. The Ichigo Bliss is a newer flavor but it was okay for me. The others enoyed it. The Taro Boba was enjoyable, though it was on the sweeter side.

Cute little space with a flavor for everyone! The service was with a huge smile and a ton of patience. I had the sundae flavored with Ube and the matcha cheese tart. Both hit the spot on a hot day, and were not excessively sweet.

Wow ok, I was in the area and saw the signage I was intrigued so popped in after visiting a neighboring business. First off, I love the decor. The furnishings say "come here with your friends and stay to enjoy your goodies " so inviting ! I peeped the menu and the food case and decided I would grab some of the tarts and a croquant choux for our Super Bowl gathering. You order from a monitor/tablet so interaction with staffing is minimal. There was a gentleman working hard behind the counter. He kindly greeted me and handed me my items . Wow such unique goodies. We really enjoyed them. Will definitely come back to try a sundae or coffee treat.

The Boba Sundae~ Sweet & Creamy, boba is chewy since it's in ice cream

We stopped in on Friday to see if it was worth the hype! First of all I LOVE the black and white decor, it's like stepping back in time! Staff are very friendly as well! We ordered the Cloud 9 and The Boba Sundaes. The cotton candy is insane, my hubby devoured his drink! My eldest and I thought the sundaes were sweet and creamy! Boba is chewy since it's in ice cream, next time I'll try it in a drink. We'll be back! SYOY! :-)

Tokyo cream just like desserts, are what dreams are made of! Located in the heart of Roseville, you'll want to try Tokyo Cream over and over. The theme of the restaurant is pretty much all black-and-white. Including the restrooms. You place your order at the kiosk at the counter, and when your order is ready, your name will be called and you pick up your items from the counter. The Thai tea: it was a little disappointing. Keep in mind that it's made with what they say is imported ice cream from Hokkaido Japan. IYKYK. It was definitely interesting to have ice cream and Thai tea, but the tea was rather weak, and I was really looking for that caffeine kick. The Hokkaido ice cream with the strawberry purée over. It was really tasty. I am a sucker for strawberries, and this did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious! We also purchased a croissant with the filling with strawberries. This was really disappointing. The croissant tasted more on the stale side. The filling was underwhelming, and the expectation of strawberries went way out of the door when we realized that they had literally taken one straw and put three slices of a strawberry sticking out of the croissant. That was it. That was the strawberry. I definitely would not purchase this item again. Cool place and tasty items. This definitely will be on dessert rotation. I'm excited to try some of their other drinks! It absolutely is a place worth checking out and it would be fun on a date, hanging with friends, or even taking the kids to.

After trying a couple flavors and joking around with the crew, they suggested the Birthday Cakes & Blackberries. Sold. It was the perfect mix of sweet with just enough blackberry to balance it out. Definitely hit the spot on a warm night. The ice cream was great, but the people working there made the visit even better. Friendly, patient, and happy to let me sample a few flavors without making me feel rushed. If you're at The Fountains and that dessert craving sneaks up on you, this place is worth the stop. When he got there, our order was ready but he had to wait a long time because the employees were very disorganized. He noticed there were a lot of employees who seemed to be pretending to be busy on the eat-in side and the employees on the take-out side and in the kitchen were obviously very overwhelmed and needed help. As a result he, along with other customers, had to wait quite a while before being helped. He even had an employee ask if he'd been helped and the employee just walked away instead of getting our order. And when my husband got home and we finally opened our ice creams they were VERY melted, almost like soup. Mind you, we live a 2-minute drive away and the ice cream would not have melted like that on the drive home. Also, the last time we ordered ice cream to-go back in May, our cookies-n-cream ice cream had almost no Oreo in it. It was like eating plain vanilla ice cream with tiny bits of Oreo in it. Even when we got to the bottom of the tub there was still almost no Oreo. We have gotten the same flavor in the past and there used to be MUCH more Oreo. I attached photos of our ice cream from May. We have been long-time customers, and we have noticed a decline in the quality of the ice cream and service overall. I expect a much better product for the price.
