The veggies in dosa could add some seasonings. Maybe they leave it plain so you can explore the 3 dippings sauce. I'm sorry I don't know what they called I just called them dipping sauce lol. Food is good and the seating area is small. We tried the masala dosa and the Andhra Kara dosa--both were flavorful and nicely prepared. On the sweeter side, the cakes are really good and definitely worth trying. We've visited a couple of times, and unfortunately they were out of utensils and needed a refill, which was a bit inconvenient. We stopped here at 9pm on a Thursday for sweet treats and were pleasantly surprised! We had a mango lassi and a slice of the crunchy mocha cake. Delicious!! We'll be back for the groceries. Loved the selection and location. Their fresh food also looked so yummy! The place smelled great. (Usually markets just smell like cleaning supplies so close to closing lol). Is your cook changed? I used to buy biryani's here before always it was delicious and we enjoyed it , but last couple of time when we bought a biryani'. The rice was not even cooked . Especially the veg biryani's is horrible and no veggies just a curry rice or flavored rice and rice is just look like cooked but it was half boiled . As soon as we had a first bite we realized that this is not a one we used to buy. I know it was busy week end . first I ordered pav bhaji and they forgot it give the bhaji and gave us just the pav. then i called and went back to get the bhaji. When I came back home and ate the bhaji with the pav i realized that they did not give me bhaji it was just the masala. it is super spicy. I have tried this place buffet earlier and was delicious. Last Sunday we went for buffet and it was horrible. Looks like management change. All the items in the buffet needed refill and every time we had to go and ask them. They would put 4 idlis in buffet and vegetable parathas were never refilled. I still maintain that for a hole in the wall this place is absolute best when it comes to food and pricing. The idli, chole bhature, paneer biryani, dosa and chaat are my favorite and probably the best in this area. Tables can be tidied up a bit. Service is always pleasant. I cannot recommend this place enough. I really didn't think I'd like the paneer panini, but it's addictive. This place never disappoints.

Service was friendly but can be slow. I've had times where i called ahead for pick up and still ended up waiting 40 min for my food. Food, however, was a great bang for the buck. And parking was plenty. Ordered the chicken biryani and plain dosa (which comes with multiple dipping sauces) and everything was delicious. When they say spicy, it is spicy. We got a 3/5 "mild" and it still had a nice kick to it. Will definitely be back to try their other options. read more

I went to Bakery Bites in Roseville today, saw the posted signs saying that today's special is a BOGO free for a samosa chat. the small posters did not mention a price. i went to the counter and looked at the menu, and it said samosa chat is $8.00. I ordered a samosa chat to go, and the incharge person at the counter, billed me for $8.99 plus tax. i showed him the mistake in pricing, but he said that is what the price is for the special offers. this is not right. it is cheating. I showed him the price on the menu, he said that is the regular price. i said why did you not display a enhanced price for the special offer ? and for this they were all quite. what i do know is they are jacking up the price at the cash register, and most customers dont or never notice that it is a higher price than what is mentioned in the Menu card. they have been doing this every day on any specials and overcharging the unsuspecting customers. there was no manager to come and clarify anything because they knew they are doing wrong and they also knew they were caught red handed. i am enclosing the evidence pictures. the public should decide by themselves. read more

Delicious brunch buffet. These days you can't even find fast food for $13 person. They had a large variety of vegetarian items in the buffet, and even had complementary dosa along side it. They food was made fresh and was all delicious. They have a new menu each weekend day. The service was great too, I didn't expect much being in a grocery store, but they were courteous and checked up on us to ask how the food was. I brought a friend to Bakery Bites on Fairway Dr a couple of days ago to try the Masala dosa. He loved it and wants to go back soon! The dish comes with three tasty sauces (one really hot one). I brought the leftover sauces home with me and tried the white one on plain brown rice the next day. It was insanely delicious - with just brown rice! (It was great on the masala dosa, too). We finished off with mango cake - and wow, their cakes are heavenly, but the mango cake is out of this world. This place is really hidden. Its at the back of the Reliance Market, but there's no sign in front for the bakery. You can see the baked goods on the counter, but you'd never know they also serve amazing lunches and snacks unless you took a close look at the menu. There is a bit of a language barrier. The guys at the counter speak some English, so its manageable, but I would be willing to experiment. Definitely try it. Unique, amazing flavors. read more

Bakery bites is located inside the Reliance Indian Supermarket, by the way. My father and I have no Indian background so there was a bit of a language barrier with the man behind the bakery counter (just make sure you speak clearly), but he was very polite and clearly works very hard. Everything we ordered from the savory stuff to the sweet stuff is very tasty and full of flavor. I recommend the paneer panini, the samosa chaat, and the veggie puffs! The pastries are also very pretty, and the mango was especially tasty. We will definitely be back for more! The grocery area is also the largest Indian grocery store I've seen so far in the Sacramento area and has lots of treats to browse. read more

I went in today to buy some pastries. There was someone in there who spoke rude saying the person who works here is gone and will be back at 4.30pm. There was no one willing to pack pastries. I go to front desk of the grocery store and say someone to ring up, the person at the counter says it's closed come back at 430pm. Bakery bites is nestled inside the Reliance Supermarket. They offer a small selection of pastries as well as a decent selection of chaats and "snacks". I've been a few times and so far have only tried a few of their chaats (pav bhaji, samosa). I was happy with both of them, although I'm personally a bigger fan of samosas, this is a personal food preference and not a comment on their pav bhaji. I've encountered the same woman both times and she was very friendly. The two times I've gone so far, I've ordered and then went grocery shopping and picked up my food on the way out.
