It is really cute and comfy! We really enjoyed spending some time here. We had the flower child crepe, toadstool crepe and iced lattes (they have oatmilk). It was all really good. They make the crepes when you order and they are steaming hot. It only took a few minutes to get our coffee, and a few more to get our food. There are some tables with chairs and benches. And some soft chairs with a table. It's a nice place to sit in for a while. It would be good if you wanted to chat with a friend or some time by yourself. read more

Very cozy spot! Came by because it was a brunch food near the Costco gas in Everett. We accidentally parked on the wrong side (in front of crawfish) ... Picked up a The Cabin crepe with chick'n and The Picnic with sausage, and you can watch them make it. They were so tasty! I'm used to crepes being... thicker(?), but these are nice crispy. My husband had been wanting to try this place for quite some time, so we were excited to finally visit. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I understand that costs are high, especially for small businesses, but the prices felt excessive for the quality and portion sizes we received. The biggest issue, however, was the customer service. Staff were not welcoming and seemed visibly annoyed that we had children with us, which made us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit. I'm from LA visit my brother in Everett and he has been wanting to try this place and this was a great opportunity for us. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture of the food itself. I got a sweet one and a savory one and they were so hot but the food was so good that I lost track of the conversation with my group and just got lost in the amazing flavor of the crepes. The place had sweet music to set a chill vibe and the food came out fairly quickly. We also had a short chat with the owner before we left and she was so sweet! Ultimately, I believe food should be the focus of a review, but when the customer service is this offensively bad, it overshadows everything else. The crepes were decent, sure. But the experience? Bizarrely hostile. The older woman running the register (short-haired, no accent, definitely not the one making the crepes) gave off a "playing dumb" energy that felt less like aloofness and more like passive-aggressive performance art. We walked in to an almost empty restaurant (one other customer, that's it). She saw us. She ignored us. Then, a full minute later, reappeared with faux surprise and asked if we'd been helped. Ma'am... you were literally just circling the place pretending to be busy. But that wasn't the worst part. Seconds, literally seconds, after ordering, we realized we forgot to request gluten-free on one of the crepes. We politely approached the register again and said, "Excuse me, ma'am," only to be told to wait because we weren't "next in line." I cannot stress this enough: we had just finished ordering. There was one other customer in the building. What imaginary line was she referring to? To make things more frustrating, the other customer overheard and kindly offered to switch her identical order with ours to accommodate the gluten-free request. We explained this to the charming lady at the register, who hit us with a blank stare and asked, "What would you like to order today?" as if we hadn't just gone through the entire transaction not three minutes earlier. We reiterated the situation. She begrudgingly nodded. Problem solved, right? Wrong. When the food came out, they flat-out refused to switch the orders. We were told we'd have to buy a whole new crepe. They knew what happened. They watched it unfold. And instead of helping, the woman behind the counter seemed to smirk at the whole situation, like she took pleasure in the inconvenience. Completely tone-deaf and needlessly inflexible. To top it off, she made an awkward, borderline snide comment to the only other customer for using a coupon. Something about "getting things for free." Just... why? For a place with two orders total, the level of confusion and attitude was genuinely impressive. Maybe ordering to-go is the move here. At least then you can avoid direct contact with the world's most passive-aggressive cashier. The woman actually making the crepes (with the accent) was friendly enough. But the front-of-house energy? I've been meaning to try this place since I saw them featured on Evening Magazine, but I'm rarely in the Everett Mall area. Finally stopped by today and it was great! You'll see lots of art for sale on the walls from local artists, because the owners have a sweet touch when it comes to bringing the community together. After all, they founded this place right around the corner from a great brewery and a great cidery, so you can keep it going without having to park again. You might order coffee, which they make fresh. Like many Americanos, they import theirs directly from the surface of the sun, and you'll blow on it 42 times to get it cool enough to drink. If you're lucky enough to get the last oatmeal raisin cookie, like I was, you can have dessert first while you wait for your crepe to be ready and your coffee to come down to planetary temperatures. Awesome cookie and awesome coffee. You choose between savory and sweet crepes here, and you might notice some ingredients sneaking back and forth across those two lists. The Holidaze is an awesome savory crepe that includes berries in the melted brie. The Cabin is mushroom and onion, and they will swap cheeses around for you if you ask. Both of these are worth repeats. You'll hold your crepes in your hands, in little paper cones wrapped with multiple napkins so you don't burn your fingers. The crepes are less hot than the coffee, so they are probably imported from Venus rather than the sun. You get quite a bit of dough compared to the filling, but, c'mon. It's delicious, too. You'll hear Indigo Girls while you're here, I'd bet, as well as Crosby Still Nash AND Young. You might feel like you're relaxing in someone's living room. It was a great first stop on a cold rainy Saturday afternoon. Made for a pleasant homey day. read more

Crepe is a messy thing to make especially around the crepe makers get pretty dirty. They were very thorough cleaning each time crepe batter spills. Very nice! Make sure you give enough time here as it takes about 20 minutes for the crepe you order. They start making a fresh batch after they take the order. As for the crepe, it was crispy and thin as it should be. Very authentic French crepe. They use fresh strawberries and dark chocolate. Since we opted out for Nutella which should have been the sweet ingredient in this crepe, it needed some sweetness. Our mistake. I still go for Unicone crepe, the Japanese style. read more

Tl;dr: 5 stars for the quality and uniqueness of food, but be aware that seating is limited and that service can be slow at times because there's only two griddles. We took the trip up here from Seattle to have Sunday brunch with friends who live in Everett. I had never heard of the place before... the last crepes we had prior to coming here was on vacation in Paris. The crepes are hand crepes (see the picture), which is a cool concept, and makes them easy to eat without fork and knife. Flavor is great -- there are a lot of unique options, both savory and sweet, and most importantly for us is that EVERY crepe can be made vegan. That is greatly appreciated. This restaurant is a hidden vegan gem! They also offer gluten-free options, and I'm intrigued by the buckwheat crepe flour -- I'm going to try that next time. Now, for two things you need to be aware of. First, while service is great, it can be slow. You order at the counter, and then they call your name when your food is ready. The problem is that they only have two griddles, so at peak times there can be a bottleneck. There's not much that can be done about this, and it's something to be cognizant of. The staff, though, is incredible. I hadn't realized how much service has declined post-pandemic for this type of casual restaurant until coming here, which is the exception to the rule. There were two young, college-aged women running the whole restaurant; I'm not sure if they were related to the owners (or ARE the owners) or not, but they treated customers like they had a vested interest in the restaurant's reputation. And they were either really good friends or sisters or cousin. Not that it matters to the service, but it was neat to see the diversity -- both were women of color, and one was wearing a hijab, which is not something I see a lot outside of Seattle and the southern suburbs. Both women were very friendly, and the woman running the register was scary good at remembering names and faces -- after placing our initial order, after breakfast I went back up to order another drink, and she didn't have to take my name down again. The other thing that you need to be aware of is that the seating is really limited. There are a row of counter-style seats against the window, a few two-person tables in the corner sharing a built-in bench against an exterior corner, and a couch and a couple of lounge chairs with a larger coffee table. We got there early, so we grabbed the couch and the lounge chairs with the coffee table. It's really the only space available for more than a couple of diners. However, the coffee table is too low, and the lounge chairs aren't really good for sitting in while eating. This type of set up I've seen more at bars where it works; here it doesn't. The thing is, the space is pretty large; it just isn't being used well. If they tore out the bunch and got rid of the coffee table, couch, and lounge chairs, there would be a lot of space to put in standard two-person rectangular dining tables that could be pushed together as needed to accommodate parties of more than two. With these two caveats to be aware of, I wholeheartedly recommend coming here! read more

I am so sad. I wanted to love this place so much. I know this is a small business and we love to support small businesses. So I'm writing this not to necessarily detour clients but to help the staff get better and for others to be aware of our situation. It was our first time coming here and my oldest daughter was super excited. We did come with little kids (hard age to take anywhere anyways) but that's not where the issue lies. When we walked in, the kids were super chill but did get a bit comfortable and start moving around. When I went to order, I was a bit unsure of what I would like to try and I asked the older lady at the front what her favorite savory crepe was and she responded with "they are all my favorite". That's not helpful at all. I ordered 3 crepes and was waiting on my husband's order when she started to tell me my total and I said "oop we have one more" she sighed and was like "what is it". I gave her the order on the last crepe. She then said "okay what are you drinking", which I am new here and have legit no idea what is included or not. She definitely made it seem like drinks are included. Which I assumed they weren't. She proceeded to say "I'm guessing its for here" and I just said yes because I was delusional and uncomfortable, I usually always get my stuff to go because kids. We did end up changing it to a to-go order. I don't know if my issue was with what she said or how she made me feel while saying it. I felt super rushed and unwelcomed. My son made a happy little scream (annoying none the less) and she responded with "HEY, no screaming"... he is 2. So my husband scooped him up and took him to the car. Luckily no one else seemed bothered by the kids. One mom without kids even said "oh I've been there before" which, as a mom, is always nice to hear" She was nice to my 4 year old who made friends with a little girl from her school and was told about something cute with the gnome there. Which was nice. We did end up getting home and seeing we were missing my husband's order. Which I know she rang us up for it since I saw the price change. It was just another feeling of her trying to rush us out of there. I'm not even bothered by being bothered by the kids. It was really how she made me feeling with ordering. I felt like the energy was like "you should already know these things and if you don't, you're stupid" even though I stated I had never been there. Overall the crepes were okay. Not really worth the price but everything is really expensive these days. The atmosphere was nice, coffee shop vibes which is cool. Definitely think if they don't want/like families, they should post it somewhere and if they don't want to, that's what this review is for, just to inform families. I totally get trying to have a kid free zone, just let people know ahead of time. Maybe direct them to ordering online and take to-go. I was in no rush after that. The 2 girls, my daughter and the other child absolutely got excited about looking for gnomes and they were told if they were too loud they would scare off the gnomes. They quited down. The lack of accountability is alarming. I'm sorry its not great. I wish I could have left a great one. And I admitted that it's not necessarily a kid friendly environment. And my review was 100% reflecting on the fact that it's okay to have a place where it's kid free. The response she had is PROOF that they are the problem. I stated I fully understood the kid thing, but they COMPLETELY dismissed my feelings. I said my concern was the way I felt. How I felt rushed. Her response on google is proof that they were rushing us out. They didn't want us there. I highly recommend they take some professionalism, ethics and communication courses. If they truly only charged me for 3 crepes then it was $80 for 3 crepes, $10 tip and 1 sparkling water. That's even more insane then before I thought. Also the fact I watched the price go from $55 (+ change) to $70 (+ change). That would make each crepe $20ish. Just go somewhere else for that price. It's obvious that they are scamming people here.
