Food: eh, nothing special. The Soprano scramble was lacking in the seasoning department, I'm fairly sure they use boxed pancake mix, and they use store bought brioche for their French toast, and store bought bread for their sourdough toast. The sausage links and hash browns were decent. Portions were big! Service: outstanding! Our server was friendly and attentive. Ambiance: comfortable seating, and clean restrooms For $70 and change for a party of two, I expect food that tastes better than what I can make at home. If you want to spend this kind of money on a breakfast that is outstanding, try George's in Kirkland.

For a cafe that's been around for a L-O-N-G time, this place still has it. It's clean, comfortable, and inviting. The owners obviously believe in maintaining the premises and take pride in the restaurant, and it shows in its longevity and excellent appearance. And that pride extends to the kitchen. There's nothing flashy here, but there is plenty of great comfort food. And it's well executed with quality ingredients and a shot of love. Perfect execution. Well prepared and cooked. Pies come from the newer sister location, the Sammamish Cafe, which has an onsite baking facility. This location is older (but you would not know it by looking) and has a cafe kitchen. How did I not review this place before now? Don't know. But this is a wonderful cafe experience. One of the best.

Haven't been here in a few years. Said wait was 45 minutes but only waited 20. Had an avocado & sausage Eggs Benedict with fruit. So very good and filling. Probably one of the best I've had. Place was very crowded, but not too noisy. Scored a booth. Nice and friendly wait people, especially the young tall black man who was extremely polite!

Loved the friendly vibes here! The staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated the consistency across the different locations. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict and scrambled eggs as usual! Definitely will come back again Parking was easy as there was a parking lot!

It's so warm and welcoming here. They're so good about seating you very promptly. The food is great. Especially the fluffy pancakes. My husband loved the 1/2 order of Meat Lover's egg white omelette. There was still enough to take home. You can expect a great atmosphere and dedicated service. Plenty of parking.

1/2 order of Corn beef Hash (cooked in house), one egg over easy && biscuit & gravey

While on business in Seattle I was looking for a bomb breakfast place and found this place. Located amongst a busy shopping center, was this little gem. The Saw Mill Cafe, had a great bustling welcoming environment, which we were immediately welcomed at the door by multiple employees. The food was a plus to the environment of the restaurant. I ordered half an order of their house made corn beef hash with one over easy egg and got a biscuit with gravy. The corn beef was good good && there was so much meat inside of the hash. I ordered the biscuit with gravy for my husband to eat but I also tried it. The gravy was thick and seasoned well that paired well with their thick but fluffy biscuit. The husband ordered their 6oz steak rare with two easy eggs. The steak was very tender and well seasoned. 10/10 would suggest for a good reasonably priced breakfast place.

If you dine at Saw Mill Cafe, and I strongly suggest you do, and you have Bridgette take care of you, you will have a fantastic experience! My FDD, who shall be known as My Favorite Traveling Companion for the time being, and I were looking for a place to have breakfast where we could sit and have great food before starting our day. A Yelp search, (thank you Yelpers!) brought us here. We are both avid coffee drinkers, and Bridgette made sure that our cups were never empty. Always a great start when that happens! Even more impressive to me was that they served packets of freezer jam made with real sugar instead of sickly sweet jelly made with high fructose corn syrup. My FTC ordered the corned beef hash with a side of biscuit & gravy. The corned beef was tender and flavorful; the portion size, extra hearty. The biscuit was so big that he only ate half. The gravy was smooth except for the chunks of sausage, and extremely tasty. I got the Soprano omelet, and was very happy that I did. The chicken sausage was great, better than most that I've eaten, and there was lots of cheese holding everything together. If we are ever back this way, I'm sure we will be returning.

We came here on a weekend. They were pretty busy and there was a long wait. We ordered almond crunch French toast and ranchero omelet. They were both very good!

Chefs kiss! If this restaurant wasn't 30+ min from home for me, my family and I would eat here every weekend. The staff is so kind and friendly! There is usually a very long wait during the weekends but it's only because they're so good! I have visited this restaurant quite a few times but the picture below is of one of their specials - cinnamon roll French toast - so it's not on the menu unfortunately but it was so so so so good.

We come here about once a month, sometimes with a reservation and sometimes as a walk-in. Even when we walk in, the wait is usually quicker than expected. The customer service is always attentive--they make sure our coffee is refilled and check in to see if we need anything. The food is consistently fresh and never disappoints. Always a reliable spot.

Rock solid breakfast. what more can you saw. I love they have the ability to jump on the waitlist via online and they text you updates and you can text them updates as well. plenty of parking at the Mill Creek Town Center and upon entering our table was ready and we were cheerfully greeted by the friendly staff. Onto the food. 1) Egg breakfast. We ordered the half order, but they made us the full order. eggs, crispy bacon, hash brown and bread. Standard fare. only wish the hash browns comes out crispier. 2) Veggie hash. hash brown mixed with a really good variety of veggies topped with poached eggs and an avocado cream. add some hot sauce and you are golden. the only area of improvement for this would be crispier potatoes. Not sure who likes soggy hash browns, but a few more minutes on the griddle would have been perfect. And I got TWO good sized biscuits and they were good. 3) Strawberry crepes (half order). Pretty standard crepes. Kids loved it. 4) Kids egg breakfast. can't miss on this with the crispy bacon and scrambled eggs. give me a slice of cheese and I would make a sandwich out of it! Saw Mill Cafe is a family favorite and if you are in the surrounding Mill Creek area, check this place out for breakfast or lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Are the cinnamon rolls made so they have thin layers or is it a thicker type of roll?

We stopped doing the “gigantic” cinnamon roll a few years ago since they were difficult to share and too ubiquitous in the area. An order at the cafe now consists of 4 smaller cinnamon rolls with thinner layers that are tightly wound. Its still the…

A/C was running high as it was a super humid and hot Saturday. The restaurant is one big open space with large, comfortable booths lining the walls and a selection of tables in the center. This would suit large groups, too. There's a small outdoor patio area with umbrella covered seating. They had World Cup games on and decor to match. THE FOOD: We immediately had warm, thick tortilla chips and house made red salsa on the table. Salsa is on the spicier side, but was absolutely delicious. We had the Cadillac margarita (moderately strong and well mixed), tacos dorado with steak (fried and seasoned perfectly), and corn tacos with birria (melt-in-your-mouth and perfect temp). The bar is its own little mixology section and is very well stocked. SIDE NOTES: We were way too full for dessert, but there were several nice options that all looked and smelled amazing as they passed us. Can't wait to go back when we have emptier stomachs to try more!

Glad I won't be coming here again. I order the chorizo con huevo and later throughout the day I'm having bowel issues and I feel ill. Keep in mind I only ate here and that's all I ate today. I eat healthy everyday but today was a cheat day because I wanted to enjoy home food but it's terrible here.

Our neighborhood's monthly Men's Night was held there with 13 of us in attendance, and they all agreed that it will fall into "the rotation." All of us were greeted by Erik, who took our orders individually as we all go Dutch. His (and Austin's) patience levels were on overdrive, dealing with 13 hungry guys! They both get an A-plus for their service! And with the exception of a couple guys ordering the cheeseburger, we all ordered different things. Here's a few observations from my end - all dishes were loved by everyone: - Chicken Noodle Salad - excellent, and a meal...you won't leave hungry - Fish tacos - 2 to an order, with perfectly-fried cod...and the slaw was superb - Mussels and clams - both guys thought they were the best they have had - Clam chowder - rich, thick, and creamy - Grilled cheese/tomato soup - excellent, and filling with a great cheese-to-toast ratio By the way, the burgers were all Wagyu...very juicy. I don't believe you can go wrong with any menu item, quite honestly, and they were able to serve us all at the same time even though we ordered at the counter separately! Thanks Erik and Austin for a great experience - see you again, maybe this summer when we can all sit outside!

The staff is always accommodating and friendly. Dinner is great, happy hour is great. But don't discount brunch, it is just as good as everything else.
