First time here and really enjoyed it! Pretty simple menu of types of bowls to choose from including any customization you want. They have pre-selected bowls but also have the autonomy to choose your own ingredients. On my visit I had the chicken bowl with extra protein and made pretty spicy. The food was really tasty and the price was good, but I would say this specific location needs some work to be a five star experience. You could tell that the manager is really great but that the rest of the staff is maybe going through training. I'm not sure how long this location has been open! They also did not have a working bathroom, and it felt like the space was a little messy. After checking out the CupBop food truck, then coming here for an Elite event - I was hooked. So after a meeting nearby left my tummy grumbling, I knew just where to go. SPACE: Located off of I225 and Colfax, CupBop is in a great spot for a fast casual meal. I think the space was previously a Which Wich. There's still lots of white subway tile, stainless steel, and bright pops of yellow throughout the dinning area. SIPS: Cupbop offers a variety of the standard soda and tea options, and a small cooler features some Korean beverages for those feeling more adventurous. SUSTENANCE: This is where CupBop truly shines. I've had a couple of the bowls and all I can say is: YUM! I think my favorite has to be the Mandoo Bop, because I am an absolute sucked for pot stickers and this bad boy comes loaded with them. The glass noodles, rice, and cabbage mix are delicious. CupBop uses a 10 point scale to represent their spice levels. I usually choose something towards the middle of the scale, maybe a smidge higher when I'm feeling extra spicy. SERVICE: Each time I've been here, everyone has been super friendly and helpful. My order is always perfect and utterly delicious. CupBop is definitely a tasty spot in Aurora. The first time I tried it was back during a Yelp Elite experience and I haven't been back due to the drive. But my sister saw CupBop on Shark Tank and we finally made a stop for lunch. I like that there is a lot of options but it's not overwhelming. I didn't see the ramen option and would have ordered the ramen instead so I have to be back. The interior is nice and it's small but most people order and leave from what I observed while waiting for our food to be prepared. The parking lot can be hectic because there are so many places to eat in this plaza. When we walked in, they played Stray Kids "Hellevator" and IU "Eight (prod. By Suga)" so already winning brownie points in my book. The food was okay. The Kko Kko Bop Stick was delicious and my favorite part of the meal. There was some chicken in our rock bop that were dry. The fries were good and the noodles were delicious. Maybe order beef or something else that's not fried chicken or we just had an odd batch. It was still good and edible. read more

Overall... meh. It's definitely a unique concept and it's awesome to see Korean food coming into the mainstream, but the execution isn't great and could be much much better. The positives of this experience is that the food is customizable and you go on a tablet and choose what you want. Unfortunately the negatives truly outweighed the good. I got the kid size cupbop with bulgogi. The rice, was hard and it felt like it was in the rice cooker for hours and hours or they didn't add enough water to it which caused it to get hard. They also pretty much covered the entire bowl with sauce, which was way too much and resulted in a watery mess. I don't think I can give this place another shot. It sucks that when we move these popular foods to the mainstream in a fast food capacity, the quality just goes down and especially with the price you pay. read more

They also have gluten-free options just FYI! There is also a spice level you will choose that ranges 1-10. FAVE ITEMS: I opted for the Combo Bop which is 20 cents pricier than the most expensive (i.e. Rock Bop or Ugly Bop), and decided to get Rock Bop and B Bop. Personally definitely preferred the B Bop which is like bulgogi. Rock Bop had this interesting texture of chicken -- majority of it was fat rather than actual meat which I didn't like. For base, I opted for sweet potato noodles and salad which was a good refreshing combination. I got spice level 5 which was perfect. SERVICE: quick, you place your order and it comes out within 5 minutes. PARKING: in a huge plaza so parking is not really a problem. PRICE: decent price at about $10 per bowl, pretty good! read more

I am a regular at this location I buy cupbop 1-2 per week for the past year or so. Sadly, the quality has gone significantly down and I am sadly slowly and slowly going there less and less. They have become very stingy with the sauce and the toppings. There's a full bowl of noodles and rice but barely any toppings. They don't put enough sauce to cover all of the rice and noodles because it's just a lot of them and less of everything else so you get just dry rice chunks in there. They also stopped doing the full hot dog corn dogs which seems a little odd for a CORN DOG in general. I talked to the manager and she said it was a corporate decision to do that. Well not such a great decision as those used to be great but sadly now we only get half a hotdog corn dog.... Overall I love cupbop but it's not what it used to be a year ago. We ordered the black garlic pork ramen in where the noodles weren't cooked fully and broth didn't have the umame that would be expected from a black garlic pork ramen. The cup bobs we tried were the B bop and rock bop. For the chicken, the chicken seemed like it was ground chicken with flour, which gave the mcdonalds texture. The bulgogi was mediocre. Heard about this place from a co-worker and then drove by on the way to another restaurant. Decided it was a sign to come. My son was intrigued as well so we headed over for lunch. The parking lot is small and it's hard to navigate especially when the delivery trucks block your way. And blocked us in when we were trying to leave. The place is not large but right now most people get takeout so we didn't have an issue finding a table. No greeting in the door even though there was a server right there. We perused the menu and decided on the B Bop level 5 spicy and the Doochi Bop level 6 spicy. The B Bop is Korean style bbq beef with rice, cabbage mix and their sweet potato noodles. The Doochi is fried tofu with the same accompaniments. We also ordered two servings of mandoo. These deep fried potstickers are a fav of ours so we were excited to try them here. One serving is only 3 potstickers so we got two servings. A water and fountain drink rounded up our order. The server who tool our order was friendly enough. They call your name and you pick up your order. Tip - the forks are stacked tightly together so check that before you get another. The food is served in a to go bowl container with a lid. You're supposed to shake everything up to mix the sauce with the ingredients. I didn't do a good job and ended up with the sauce only in half of my ingredients. Oh well. The rice was not fresh and I'm a picky rice eater so right off I was disappointed. The noodles are similar in texture to glass noodles and are ok. He liked those a lot while I could do with or without them. The tofu is what was delish. Firm in texture with a slight 'crunch'. Very good. I could eat a whole plate of these. The sauce was spicy so I regretted only having it in one spot. He liked his bbq beef dish a lot. He said the beef was flavorful and the sauce all mixed in was tasty. His rice was better than mine so that was good. The potstickers were really good. Not over fried and well seasoned. Thank goodness we ordered two servings. Would we return? Not sure. The service didn't leave me feeling appreciated, just a feeling of having bothered them. The prices are steep for what the dishes are. Not bad, wish there were more ways to customize the bowl (like Chipotle, Cava, etc). I'm vegan and got the tofu bowl, they fried the tofu fresh and it was really good. It came with noodles, rice, and cabbage. But I wish I could have added more toppings and customized it more. Employees were nice and greeted me when I came in. The sauce was a little confusing--on the website when you order online it says "vegan-spicy" and "vegan-sweet" as the vegan sauce options. In store though, I was told none of the sauces are vegan but I could get a gluten free one. I guess people don't realize--gluten free is for celiacs/can't eat wheat, vegan is for people who don't eat animals. I confirmed that the gluten free one didn't have any dairy or eggs etc, but still not confident that it was vegan. Kind of wonder what I would have gotten if I'd ordered online and selected one of the vegan ones listed online. It would be nice to have vegan potstickers! They only seemed to have meat ones. Super hit or miss. Sometimes it's so much sauce it was gag worthy but sometimes it's good. Depends on if you get delivery or not. Everything is fairly luke warm definitely not fresh or hot, assumed it's made at a set time and sits for hours on a hot plate. Ok so CupBop has been on my list for over a year, buuuut I try to avoid the 16th street mall at all costs so I had been putting off checking out their kiosk down there, then I remembered they recently opened a location by the children's hospital on Colfax. No sooner had I remembered this useful tidbit of information than I was already on my way! I got the duo of two meats, bbq chicken and beef and tried I think level 8 spice as well as a side of dumplings. Oh my gosh was this amazing. Per their directions when I got home I gave it a good shake to mix all the deliciousness up and it was about as tasty as it could be. Spice was very manageable, I would compare it to a sriracha; will definitely be leveling up to 10 next time. Flavors of the meats were wonderful, and delicious noodles and veggies too! Ugh so good, I honestly need to come here asap! I had the Black Garlic pork ramen. It was decent but the noodles were all clumped together. The Mandoo were sitting for a while and not fresh. The other bowls were okay. Tofu was cooked well. This will definitely be a new favorite of mine! The service was friendly and super fast. You can see them make your food, and behind the counter is super clean and organized. I ordered the Rock Bop with Spice level 7.5 sauce, I also got spice level 8 sauce on the side and thank god I did. Both the 7.5 and 8 have a hint of sweetness just a tiny bit. The 7.5 was perfect the 8 was a bit too much for me. If you love sriracha then this sauce is perfect for you. If you like really spicy but sriracha is a bit hotter than you'd like, I definitely recommend the 7.5. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING all of the sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors worked in harmony. Whoever created these recipes has a beautiful palate. I want to try everything on the menu, that's how good it was. Although the chicken was covered in sauce it was still crispy and delightful. The price is not bad you pay $11-20 and the food is filling. Good food! They have noodle/rice/protein bowls, ramen and the Korean hot dogs. The protein options are pretty good with various spice levels available. If you go spicy 6 or higher, it is added with a vinegar type hot sauce (maybe sriracha?). I'm not a fan of vinegar, so it's good to know to stick with 5 for a bit of heat instead. The mandoo are flavorful and come with a nice sauce. The set up inside is small and everyone is kind of running over each other, but other than that it's a great spot! read more
