An incredible twist on Korean bbq. Everything is fresh, full of flavor and comes out hot and ready to eat. If you're a fan of fantastic Korean bbq with a modern day flare added to it. This is the place you want to go B-bop is that best thing on the menu. No doubt.

This isn't the most authentic Korean food you'll find in Provo but it satisfies the craving and tastes good! Last time we ordered two Combos with the Hot Bop + Veggies and Toc Bop + Veggies with a 4 spice level. Depending on who is working there, the spice levels can vary. This time the 4 was not as spicy as it has been other times we've gone but it was still good with a slight kick to it. The meat, veggies, sauce, and noodles were all really good! My only beef with Cupbop is the rice can be super mushy and soggy. Once you mix it all together, you don't really notice it as much but I do wish the rice were a little more firm/sticky? One other thing to make note of is the menu prices have changed slightly so just something to keep in mind! Overall, a fun little spot to stop in and grab some yummy bowls!!

Unforgettable name. Like cmon "cupbop" is so short, so hip, so easy to remember. I would say this place is a hidden gem. It offers a different taste than what's around in the area. I ordered the b-bop which has the Korean beef (im guessing the b stands for bulgogi? Idk). The meal itself was satisfying. And you can gauge this place's attractiveness by the number of ppl who were in line and ordering to-go. It's worth stopping by. Also, the workers there were nice and friendly. All in all I would say thats all to review. Would I go to this place again? Yes I would! Bonus: An extra personal comment is here since I am new to the area and I've had a myriad of Korean eateries in SoCal. As far as it being trademarked Korean, I would say it does a decent job to live up to the taste. Korean fast food is a game-changer. Especially compared to other counterparts (besides American fast food) such as L&L Hawaiian BBQ, Yoshinoya Japanese Kitchen, Chinese fast food, etc. Cupbop could be another Asian fast food franchise that could spread throughout the nation. And so I would say this place is on the same plane as those mentioned above-- a fast food place that will give a hint of the cultural taste you're sampling for. It's not a bad thing. I would just assure people to not treat this place as the exclusive Korean food they will ever try in their life; something to not brag about basically. Nobody would brag about L&L or Yoshinoya or Panda Express. It's something worth sharing but not worth bragging about. My personal fantasy fix for a bowl would be bulgogi beef, lettuce, kimchi, sticky rice, japchae, and dipping sauces like ssamjang.

Let's just say, I finally set my curiosity to rest. Standing in line for 30 minutes during the Gallivan lunch hour was bearable thanks to the enthusiasm from the Cupbop workers. The excitement from the workers undeniably stirred a commotion to make all the lost hungry souls, that were wandering the plaza, join the already-ridiculous-long line. The truck itself was strategically located at the bottom of the descending stair case, so each step down was one step closer to ordering the ever-so-raving korean food in a cup. I ordered the hot bop (spicy pork) with no veggies and the b-bop (bbq beef) both with rice and humbly denied the "free noodles." I asked for a level 8 and was informed the gentleman next to him was the sauce master and that he would be the one who will create the level of spice I desired. Based on previous reviews, Cupbop's various levels was true to the claims of actual spice therefore I asked the sauce master for a level 8 on on the hot bop and a level 4 on the other. Disappointingly, both levels of spice, 4&8 were not spicy at all due to the additions of all the other sauces that were put into the cups. The BbQ beef in the b-pop was way too sweet for my tastebuds. And while I requested no veggies in the hot bop, there were still cabbage/lettuce present. Even though the quality and flavors of the food was definitely not worth my time waiting or the price I paid, I cannot ignore Cupbop's friendliness and time that they put forth through the presentation and service. Cupbop was just simply not my cup of tea... Or should I say not my tea of cup. -Sailor out

The flavor is there, and they'll load up on spices for you too, but there is way too much lettuce, rice and noodles with just a small amount of meat. If I'm paying eight bucks for a cup of food, I would expect to maybe get layers with more meat. Or to not get bagged lettuce or what tastes like boxed rice. If any of you have ever seen the TV show The League, this place reminds me of Yobogoya Beef Bowls. There's just not really any substance to it. Better places to spend and save your money at.

The lighting and seating feel eclectic without being uncomfortable--casual, inviting, and easy to settle into. Our waitress, Avery, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through the menu, which made ordering easy. We shared a large order of fries between the three of us, and they were more than enough. The fry sauce stood out immediately--definitely not the standard Utah variety--and genuinely excellent. On Avery's recommendation, I ordered the Cowboy in LA, and I'm very glad I did. The flavors were well-balanced and bold, and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My son and his friend both ordered the Stoneman burger and agreed it was really good as well. Overall, this was a standout experience. I'd recommend Backdoor BRGR without hesitation--easily the best burger I've had in years.

It felt a little odd walking through the back @ first, as we got a little peek into the kitchen. It didn't seem like we should have been back there, but once we got to the host area, we were assured that entering through the back is completely fine. As we sat there, we noticed many people doing the same thing. The place is western theme. Lots of fun pictures on the walls, random lighting and chairs, I personally loved the vibe. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions on the menu. We felt right at home, great hospitality here. I wanted to try a burger that sounded really out of the ordinary, so I got the Grumpy Claire. It has apples on it, a savory caramel sauce, it just sounded insane, and I had to try it out. I also got an order of onion rings. The burger was cooked to perfection, had great flavor and was more delicious than I imagined. My husband got the Poco Bueno. I tried a bite, I did not like it. The reason I did not order it was because that sounded like a burger I'd find at any regular burger joint. The problem I had with the burger was the seasonings used. It tasted like a very strong taco seasoning was added to the patty. I do not like taco seasoning at all, so this was a No from me. My husband got an order of fries with his burger, which were very good! &Their fry sauce is amazing! The staff makes you feel like part of the family & check in on you consistently throughout your visit. The part that stood out the most was that not only was our waitress checking in on us, the other waitstaff would come by and ask how we were doing as well. The owner came over to chat with us too. She came up, introduced herself, asked how our meal was, and we talked with her for several minutes to follow. I appreciated that experience. I highly recommend trying Backdoor BRGR if you haven't yet! The pricing was fair, the staff is amazing, the owner is a sweetheart, and the food is incredible.
