I would consider going anywhere else for good Korean food. The service is horrible, rude, and downright disrespectful to guests. Walked in at 12:30 to an empty dining room and the workers were having some sort of conversation in the back. One lady looks over her shoulder at us and rolls her eyes, like it's some sort of inconvenience to serve a customer while she is having a conversation with her co workers. Does not say a word to greet us; no "we will be right with you" no "hi how are you doing today" not a word spoken to us. We wait another 30 seconds of her putting her gloves on and still chatting with her co workers for her to stand in front of us and stare at us, still no word to us. Expecting us to start telling her what we want without knowing if she is ready for us or not. Here comes the kicker: we decide to leave, we say "never mind, if this is how guests are treated, we will go somewhere else" the lady goes "girl, calm down" and starts laughing. The first thing she ever said to us was "girl calm down" She did not have a name tag but she had brown hair in a bun and was working today on 2/9/26 at 12:40 PM. I don't usually go higher than a 4 on a fast food chain. This Korean BBQ in a cup place would be rated 3 stars because it is limited in menu, but there is a variety of combination options. The reason I give it my highest 4 rating is because the people have been amazing and friendly everytime I have come in. They have to yell out greetings when you come in and they offer first timers a mandoo. They are willing to explain things and seem to enjoy their job. If a restaurant makes you feel like the employees like it, then give it a bump in rating because they obviously care about their staff. read more

Came here with a group and ordered the Cupbop with 2 proteins, although I thought that was a separate item, the employee asked what 2 proteins I wanted so I went with crunch (chicken katsu) and doochi (tofu). The nice thing was that they were made fresh, since they hadn't been sitting out with the other items. Unfortunately the tofu isn't seasoned so it's pretty bland and the katsu was crunchy but little flavor as well. The rice, cabbage, and sweet potato noodles were balanced and I went with medium spice (5). I think I'd go with just katsu or one of the other proteins next time but the flavors kind of worked with the sauces and the worker was friendly and courteous. For $12.99 you get a decent portions but I'm not really dying to go back. Maybe the corn dog or potstickers would be worth trying. read more

The portions were definitely generous, except for the kimchi, which was a pretty small side for the price. What knocks down my rating the most, though, is the uncleanliness of the dining area. I understand this is fast food, and most people don't eat there, but please take a minute to wipe down the tables now and then. The tables, trays, and general public areas were not clean. As a first timer, I think I got a free mandoo in my bowl? It was hard to hear the person at the counter speaking honestly because she talked so fast in a bit of a mumbling tone. I opted for the #6 BBQ chicken bowl. It includes rice, chicken, cabbage, jap chae noodles and your choice of sauce spice level. I got the 2/10 spice which was just right for me. It had just a bit of heat. The bowl was good for fast food. The chicken was super plentiful and I appreciate that the person at the counter really packed in a lot of meat. The chicken itself had a nice grilled flavor and tasted like it was marinated in bulgogi sauce. The japchae was also plentiful and tasty. The rice was OK. It was a bit clumpy and there didn't seem to be a lot of it to go with the chicken. The cabbage had mixed green and purple pieces in it. The mandoo was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling. Got to try this place on Friday night with my husband. It was m fairly empty when we came in and a staff. Member asked if it was our first time. When we responded "Yes", they all shouted "extra!" which confused us however we quickly found that that meant & it was pretty cool. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant as he then informed us of how to order which was really helpful. You're able to pick whether you want all three base items, which is cabbage, rice and noodles. After that you pick your protein and then the spice level you want. After that, they put toppings on. I chose barbecue pork and it was pretty good. I also got a dessert . They have the fish shaped ice cream trays in 3 flavors. I chose strawberry. We also got 2 of their creamy drinks which we enjoyed. This is from my google review: The food is top notch and I have been going here for a few months. I would have given this place five stars but I have ran into a scenario today. They are losing customer loyalty. Now this scenario is simple, if you have came here in the past, you might have gotten a punch card. Well they do not honor those cards anymore to direct their customers to their app. My issue is that they should honor those punch cards because the only disclaimer on them is that they are valid at Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, and Texas. There is no expiration on the card itself. So if this company picks and chooses to honor what programs, then what would they do next. We have seen many companies not stay true to their customers with great products and disappear. Oh well I suppose. Another gripe is that the portions got incredibly smaller. While the bowl sizes have not change and price has a slight increase. The amount of food went down. I felt like I just ordered a large drink with majority of ice and we all know that feeling. Well I originally feel in love with this place because reminded me of the food truck in Osan. I don't think I will return, plenty of good food in this city. This was the worst experience I've had from cupbop, came in ordering 2 cupbops and 1 order of Mandoo. We were being helped by a female at the line, she denied us getting the protein on the side which is fine if that's the policy but there was no apologies. We also had to wait and were not told why we were waiting, had to ask for the side sauce for the mandoos which she responded confused wondering why we asked since we got spicy mayo on the side which is not the side sauce for mandoos, came off very condescending. Floors were very dirty as well and looked like they had not been cleaned for a day or two. Manager seemed to be standing nearby and did not correct or apologize for her. read more

Very quick stop off the 10 freeway going cross country. Yummy quick food. You can order ahead and just pick up and keep driving. They have tables inside for seating and everyone was very friendly. Bathrooms were clean. This is a definite recommend for travel food outside the normal quick food options. This is not going to compete with an actual sit down Korean restaurant so don't expect that.
