Great bubble tea, I haven't try any other drinks yet but their classic bubble tea is really good. I been here for probably around 4-5 time now within a week. My roommates did said their stander sugar is a little too much, if you want one that is similar to the main land bubble teas they recommend you do 30% sugar. The store smelled like moth balls as soon as I walked through the front door. The drinks was good but unfortunately the infamous pineapple bun wasn't. The butter tasted old and had a weird smell to it. The rest of their baked goods wasn't freshly baked but was fridgerated as it was cold to touch in my hands. I wouldn't come back as I can get same quality of drinks in Rockville. I question the quality of the food here due to both the smell and taste. read more

So great to see an authentic style bubble tea place opening up in College Park! There's no indoor seating yet but I can see this place being a great place to study or grab a boba with friends. Since they just opened, the employees are still training so there are no toppings being offered. I didn't take off any points for this because the drinks still tasted amazing by themselves. They're also currently running a promotion where if you spend over ten dollars you can get an egg waffle or black tea with lemon. Out of the five drinks I've tried so far each has been perfect! Signature Milk Tea - Doesn't taste like your average black milk tea that you would get at Kung Fu Tea. There's a slightly nutty/coffee flavor that you have to try for yourself. Perfectly sweetened and comes with a cute reusable glass bottle Iced Black Tea with Lemon - An HK staple that was refreshing and had the perfect amount of sweetness Super Fruits Iced Tea - Basically a passionfruit green tea that comes with orange slices and passion fruit seeds. I would recommend this one if you like fruit teas over milk teas. Ocean Blue Sparkling Lemonade - Pretty and fizzy instagrammable drink that tastes as good as it looks. Passionfruit Lemonade - Was expecting this to be too tangy but again, perfectly sweetened and the passionfruit and lemon flavors go well together. I recommend if you like really sweet drinks to ask them to add more sugar. The drinks here let the flavors of the tea and fruits stand out rather than add a ton of simple syrup. read more

I waited a hot minute to post this cuz I wanted to make sure it was the real deal -- but damn, they. are. it. I'm so glad there's finally a location near DC. Their boba is always the perfect texture and their waffles are *chef's kiss*. Hot take though -- I think their fruit teas are way better than their milk teas. The milk tea is not too sweet and really flavorful. Since I am trying to stay away from sugar, it really a good choice for me. Love the pineapple bun with butter! I think you can only get buttered pineapple bun in this place in DMV area...I guess? Will come again! The parking entrance is awkward. I could not be happier with college park's newest addition to the long list of boba shops. This has to be one of my favorites! The fruit teas here are so fresh, I recommend their grapefruit fruit tea, it had freshly cut grapefruit in it and you could taste that they don't use cheap jams or syrups in it. The milk teas are made from milk powder, but are still delicious. I commend this location for their efforts into sustainability with packaging their mango sago and milk teas in glass jugs you can bring back. I thought that was an excellent touch. I regularly get their matcha egg waffles plain, which are the best I've had. Love this place and the cute atmosphere that they've created. The seats inside are also really comfy. read more

Be warned! They charge you for paper tea carrier for 10c without any signs posted in store. Been coming to this place since its soft opening and always loved their HK milk tea. Today I got my usual two cups of tea for takeout and they just handed me two bottles. I was a little bit surprised and asked for a carrier and was told I would be charged 10 cents and told me its the county government charge. So I am supposed to carry multiple bottles of hot tea in hands? Will never come back again. read more

This particular location is poorly run. It was fine when it first opened, and was somewhat comparable to their Flushing and Toronto locations. More recently, I have received no taro in 3/5 taro milk teas ordered over the past three weeks. For the two that did actually have taro, the taro was not properly blended (several large chunks) and the sweetness level varied greatly between the two. I would hope that this improves in the future as employees learn or replaced, but I would recommend steering clear for at least a couple of months until it is all sorted out. read more

Last night I came here to get some boba, I usually get the amber pearl and ask for extra brown sugar syrup. Everytime I order this drink it does not look as described with the brown sugar surrounding the cup hence why i ask for extra. Well yesterday I decided to order something different the jasmine pearl tea thinking I could do the same, I asked the employee if my drink was ready she said they would call it out I was already there for a good 10 minutes but I ordered on the app thinking okay maybe it takes longer so I ask her can I get brown sugar syrup she says it's only for the amber pearl which doesn't make sense because I always have to ask them for it, if i don't they won't add it. So I asked If I could switch it she's like oh we already made the drink... so why didn't you call it out?‍ I asked and they didn't bother looking for my drink so it was just sitting there for the last god knows how long. That was the most tedious conversation I had to have over a drink. I simply walked away because based on the conversation I don't think they were willing to remake it. I also added the extra brown sugar on the notes I assume they never read that because when i order i go up front to let them know or else they wont do it! read more

In my opinion, this is the best boba (and other tea options) shop in all of the college park area! The food and drinks are delicious with so many options. The staff is extremely friendly and was very helpful when we asked them to explain some of their menu options to us. I got their mango milk foam, which was quite delicious and includes jelly pearls. The signature milk tea was not what I expected. It has a very buttery, caramelly taste to it. I wanted to opt for something else, but heard so many good reviews about how unique it tasted. I'm not so sure about it being Hong Kong styled milk tea, but it's close to it. I've had actual HK milk tea in Cantonese districts in New York and their milk tea is the definition of authentic, can't get this flavor anywhere else, because the taste is so enriching and distinct to that region. Their curry balls are also supposed to mimic those of Cantonese cafes in NY as well. However the fish balls don't come close either. They're a bit more tougher and tasteless. The NY ones are unmatchable, being that their texture and taste is similar to bean curd skin and one bite will have juices flowing out of the fish ball. The ones in NY are the real deal. But I will give this little cafe a plus for its refreshing and decorative interior, and gorgeous little gift-bag packaging. I feel like customer service needs a little working on. They should try to be a bit more welcoming and inviting with their customers. I feel like this is a major contributor to their slow business, and notice many Chinese-run businesses are impatient, like to rush their customers, and have a very robotic emotionless attitude, which is an absolute no-no when it comes to restaurant service. I am somebody who is quite fascinated with Asian smoothie and tea joints, and am always excited to try their array of interesting combinations.
