Beware of bait and switch. They advertise a lobster omelette for 22.95. We drove there specifically to have the lobster omelette. When we got there they told us that they no longer have lobster because it's too expensive so they have to substitute with shrimp. The bill came charging me the same amount as the lobster omelette. I said, why are you charging me the same amount of money for a shrimp omelette as you would have for the lobster omelette being that lobster is so much more expensive. They told me they didn't change the menu prices yet so that's what they're gonna charge me and even added in an extra dollar to it charging me 23.95 for a shrimp omelette. The most I ever paid for a shrimp omelette was 16.95. This is a complete rip off. It wasn't worth the price. read more

Wow! What a cute & dainty place! Absolutely loved this place and can't wait to return! Our waitress, Karen was exceptional! Very nice and knowledgeable about the food items.. The food was delicious, I ordered the Lobster omelette with a Coconut Mocha it was absolutely phenomenal! Now that omelette was huge! Had breakfast for the rest of the day.. I asked for salsa they brought me some Cholula and some salsa Macha, the salsa Macha is homemade but it's definitely got a kick to it so you might wanna taste it first before adding it to your plate.. my husband ordered the special of the day and he loved it. His beans were so good! also instead of country potatoes I got the hashbrowns and they were so good, toasted to perfection! Was in the area and stopped by after a recommendation. It's very unassuming outside but the food is tasty and and service was pretty good. Here's what we got: Sweet potato fries and the spicy sawse lol super good the mixture of sweet, savory, and spicy was just right, I'd definitely order this again Caesar salad with chicken and avocado - I would say this was pretty good, definitely your standard salad, the presentation was very pretty, I believe the croutons are house made, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My usual go to when I am unsure of what I want to eat lol so this for sure hit the spot Children's breakfast meal - pancake and 2 bacon. My little ate the entire meal, and appreciated that the bacon was crispy lol. The presentation was pretty good here as well. We didn't get any drinks outside of water lol so that was that. One recommendation is to sit inside although it's small in there, the outside patio is very pretty but it's really hot in the desert and the sun moves, and will COOK YOU mid meal. That's not fun lol. While we ate our table and a few others moved to different areas on the patio for some much needed shade. 10/10 read more

We were greeted and were told we can only eat outside, and there were at least two (yes bigger) tables available. - Food (Avocado Toast) first serving; The Bread was so hard I had to request a steak knife. When the server brought the knife it was barely connecting from knife to handle (Scary). - As for outside very nice. The ambiance is very welcoming. YET - There are NO FLY TRAPS. Be careful or you'll be ate by the amount of flies, before you eat your food. - Once I got a replacement of the Avocado toast it was yummy. So I guess it's a hit and miss here. Attempted to eat here on Sunday about 12:30pm. There were some people standing outside so we knew there was a wait but was not sure about how long. Went to hostess stand was told 15 minutes. There were about 5 parties before us who were seated so we knew we were next. Then they sat a party that got there way after we did. It seems like the hostess is not familiar with how to work a wait list or to seat guests. If you want to wait. be ignored and not get seated this is the place for you. Chilaquiles: 4 stars Very good chilaquiles. I opted for tomatillo sauce, and eggs over easy. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the tortilla chips were fresh and maintained a good crunch as I worked my way down to the bottom of the plate. The tomatillo sauce was very good, but I think they could have used more chile / spice but I understand most people probably do not like spicy breakfast. I did use the provided cholula hot sauce that was on the table which added a little bit of spice. Service: 5 stars! Service is phenomenal at this establishment. We were seated rather quickly for a busy morning and were tended to by a total of three waiters. I look forward to coming back and trying their other breakfast offerings. read more

Feeling like I can finally make a verdict on Cups as I've been here twice now. The first experience was rough but I gave them another try, the second try was better in many ways but still a bit lackluster for all of the hype. I'll explain. Cups definitely is one of the more popular breakfast spots on this side of town. Both times we came for breakfast we've had to wait. No biggie, it's a popular spot. Comes with the territory. However, now that I've come here, I am missing some of the hype of what keeps people coming back. The most consistent review I can give about this spot is that they have a fabulous menu with some unique and traditional items (something for everyone) and that the interior of this spot is super cute. They live up to the name "cups". The food here is probably a solid 3 stars. The first time I came I had the lobster Benedict. It sounded lovely and where can you get lobster for breakfast away from the beach? Well the lobster was really terrible. I had assumed it was just a bad day, hadn't thought much of it, but then a fellow below had the same exact issues with the lobster I did so now I can see it's consistently bad. The lobster was chewy and overly translucent. Undercooked possibly but what made it even worse was the temp of the lobster, it wasn't chilled or warm, on Benedict I would expect warm/hot but it was like a cool room temperature...was worried I'd get sick. The dish I tried the second time that was just right was the chilaquiles with red sauce. The portion size was huge and I felt that the flavors were spot on. A pretty dish and tasty. However, I'm a chilaquiles snob and I can name better ones in the desert. So would I come back for these? No. But would someone who likes chilaquiles be happy with the dish, definitely. Now as for the service, another super hit or miss. The first time (the terrible lobster time) the service was pretty terrible. I had ordered a beer which never came out and our waiter rarely checked up on us. When it was time to pay we asked him multiple times for the check and he would forget to bring it. It got to the point that we flagged what looked to be the female manager, explained we'd had trouble getting our check to pay and leave, she said she would look into it, and then never came back nor did the check quickly appear. It was comical at that point so we flagged our waiter for the 3rd time and then he brought it. And just to confuse you all even more, the second time we came the service was exceptional. Our waiter was super nice and took our order quickly. Everything we ordered was brought out as we wanted it. He was nice and efficient. At the end of the day we had one rough experience here (1 star) and one pretty good/OK experience here (4 stars) that's where I am safely landing at 3 stars. Would I come back? Probably not, or not in a rush to but should it be the spot picked by a group, I wouldn't turn it down. Hopefully with time the food improves because I was really expecting more given the long wait times and some of the pretty positive reviews I read. read more

The restaurant itself is nice but very little. The wait time was not too bad. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and for that I gave my review 3 stars. The food I was not a fan of the chilaquiles were so salty I didn't even finish them. The green sauce tasted like the canned sauce you buy at groceries and was so sour. I was very disappointed because a lot of friends recommended this place. I'll give another try but maybe not try Mexican good and go for a more traditional American breakfast. read more

Okay, first the positives. Nice patio, friendly waiter, good pancakes, good eggs bacon and hash browns, good coffee. Not good. The lobster on the eggs Benedict was really bad. It looked pink and the texture and taste was really unsettling . Mom and I felt queasiness and unsettled for many hours after trying it. Not because it were not fresh but because it was not appetizing in our opinion. The waiter was so nice to take it off the menu. The potatoes were only okay and the butter is in a tiny package.
