Delicious! This place is small. They have a very tiny indoor area and bar, but it's so cute. The outdoor area is really where you want to be plenty of shade, which is nice. The food is delicious. I had the patty melt minus the cheese and the sweet potato fries which were so damn good. This place is incredibly dog friendly, you actually might see more dogs than people, but that's OK. They all seem to be extremely well behaved.

We stopped there for a quick lunch, they have a cozy patio covered w umbrella and we were sat quickly. The service was a bit slow, we had to ask few times for our server to come and get our order, after that the food came quickly. Their casa asada taco was very dry, almost not taste. Their guac lacked taste as well. Their food was more 2/5 stars.

Lunch with friends at The Fix in Palm Desert before flying home from Palm Springs. The Fix is a lovely restrauant, with modern lines and appointments. It has an Inside-outside bar and a large covered outdoor seating area. The menu is American themed. The atmosphere is casual with a fun vibe. I started with coffee (boring), but two of the group had Bloody Marrys and the other a Momossa. The bloody marry presentation was spectacular. I opted for the Monte Cristo with hashbrowns and was mildly disappointed. It was very hardy but not as flavorful as I expected. I'd give it a 4/5. Jan had the corn beef hash with poached eggs. It looked good and tasted good. She is a hash person and gave it a 5/5. Our friend that had the breakfast burrito gave it it a 5/5. It was definitely huge. It could easily have been shared. Our friend that had the omelet said it was very good. It was busy when we got there at 11 a.m. We were lucky and we're seated right away. When we left there was a long line waiting to be seated. The prices are moderate. The service was good.

Starters the ambiance is cozy and nice for good conversations. Their menus are simple, yet enough to have a choice. From the greeter to the servers are all personable and welcoming. Tried their mixed green salad. The blackberry Balsamic is yummy. Can't go wrong here.

Very nice place in downtown Palm desert. Extensive sandwich and drink menu. Excellent service. Quintessential spot to hang out.

Chinese Chicken salad is best I know. The fried chicken sandwich was very good but I would get with the mustard on the side.

I had breakfast there on Monday, service was good, the flies were a huge nuisance, and the breakfast was just okay.

Nice little cafe style eatery. Good food, ok service. Touristy. $$$. Difficult parking, must park in back.

We started with the Burrata with Heirloom Tomato and Beef Carpaccio, both of which were delicious. We also had the Lobster Roll, Zucchini Noodles with Shrimp, and the Grilled Skirt Steak with truffle shoestring potatoes -- the skirt steak was especially good! We also tried a sushi tuna roll, which was another great addition to the table. The drinks were fantastic, and everything came out tasting fresh and well prepared. To top it all off, they brought out a nice little lemon cake for my birthday, which was a really nice touch. Overall, even though it was crowded and loud, we had a great experience. Great service, amazing food and drinks, and a fun Friday night atmosphere. Definitely a good spot for a celebration!

My youngest loved her spaghetti and meatballs and she is usually pretty picky about pasta. I had the butternut squash ravioli and they were rich, creamy, and exactly what I wanted. My wife ordered the miso glazed seabass and she loved it. I stole her bok choy and that made me very happy. The restaurant is really clean with a laid back contemporary vibe and great music. The AC at our first table was blasting cold air right on us and the staff moved us right away with no issue at all. They were also incredibly kind to my youngest whose birthday we were celebrating. They surprised her with her favorite tiramisu and a candle which completely made her night. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We started with dinner and ended up staying for the music, dancing, and all the fun that makes The Nest such a special place. I ordered the chicken piccata and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. The service was wonderful, and even though we were seated near the piano in the bar area where it can get a little loud, that's part of what makes it such a fun atmosphere. The best part of the night was having everyone together. My niece's boyfriend was visiting from Ireland, and we laughed and danced all night. I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone. The crowd was a fun mix, the energy was high, and the whole place just felt happy. A coworker recently went during Restaurant Week and couldn't stop talking about the steak, the generous portions, and the peanut butter pie. The Nest has been a desert favorite for years, and there's a reason. It's always nice to see Dodi there and how much pride she takes in the restaurant. Most people think of The Nest for the music and dancing, but don't miss the food. It really is that good! One tip: go early or make a dinner reservation so you don't end up waiting in line. The Nest is still one of the most fun places in the desert!
