The FARM was definitely worth the wait! We came for brunch and every dish was a hit. We started with the lemon crepe, which was light, fresh, and a great way to start the meal. The avocado toast with over-easy eggs was absolutely bomb--fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked eggs. The star of the meal was the chicken, bacon, and waffles. I swapped out the potatoes, and the gravy was incredible. Add a little hot sauce and it was the perfect bite. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was awesome. Even in the middle of summer, the patio was comfortable with plenty of fans and misters keeping everyone cool. A nice little brunch spot in downtown Palm Springs. They have outdoor patio seating, but our party sat inside and enjoyed the ambiance. Reminded me of being inside someone's home. The service was great and friendly, and willing to seat us even an hour before closing their lunch hours and giving us lots of time and patience and never let our waters get low either! Their coffee is french press, and they offer fresh pressed juices too. They brought the french press pot to the table so you could press and refill your own cup as needed. We got grapefruit & watermelon, and both were refreshing and cooling. We ordered the avocado toast, the breakfast croissant, the breakfast sandwich, and the salmon crepe. Everyone really enjoyed their food. I found the salmon crepe to be really delicious, served with a jammy egg, a generously sized portion of salmon on a bed of spinach with some creme fraiche all wrapped in a delicious crepe wrap. I've never had anything quite like it. Also major compliments to the simple but refreshing side salad that came with each of our breakfasts, but we were also given the option of potatoes or mixed berries. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area looking for a good spot to have brunch. read more

It's been a while since we were last here. Of course it's alway busy which is a good thing for the restaurant. We stopped by around 12:30 to see if there was a line for checking in. Which they normally alway have one. And it was Father's Day so we expected it to be quite busy. There was one person in-front of me when checking in with the hostess. It was going to be about half an hour for a table under first available. They take your number and text you when your table is ready with a 10 min grace period to get back. It did table about half hour till we received the text. This visit, we got seated inside which was a first for us. Majority of the restaurant is outside with covered umbrellas and small sections in the inside area with different rooms. Our waitress was quite sweet but didn't remember her name. Menu is pretty much same as I remember from last time. Of course the Bloody Mary is always a must here. Started off with that. Food wise, the andouille sausage omelette served with potatoes or a salad and avocado. That also comes with a side of baguette. And the baked brie platter which is a shared starter. But works also a meal if needed. A nice hefty portion of baked Brie with hazelnuts, both ciabatta bread and Asian pear as well as date jam. And a side order of bagel and cream cheese. Food was good. We've only been for brunch and each visit was great. Dinner is a prix fix menu which we have never been. Service was great and the staffs were all very friendly. The Farm, a charming and cozy restaurant nestled in the heart of Palm Springs, offers a delightful dining experience with its wide seating options. We decided to treat ourselves to a quick breakfast, and I opted for the veggie omelette while my husband chose the French toast. Let's begin by saying our exceptional server, who was incredibly sweet, kind, and pleasant throughout our meal. However, let's address the food. The veggie omelette was a letdown. Instead of the traditional omelette where vegetables are incorporated into the eggs, this dish had eggs placed on top of the vegetables. This deviation from the classic omelette concept completely defeated its purpose. I was able to separate the vegetables from the eggs, but that's not what I paid $20.00 for! Moving on to the French toast, which was supposed to be a delightful banana French toast with a nicely caramelized, battered crust. Unfortunately, it was far from that. The French toast was extremely soggy, and the banana sauce, which was meant to complement the dish, soaked up everything, leaving it a soggy mess. While the service was excellent, the food left much to be desired. With a few tweaks, The Farm has the potential to become a stellar dining destination. read more

We decided to do breakfast at Farm on a Wednesday morning, and it turned out to be one of the more relaxing meals of our trip. The restaurant has a great Palm Springs atmosphere, especially if you can grab a table on the tree-lined patio like we did. There's some indoor seating, but the outdoor spaces are clearly part of the appeal. Farm is apparently known for its weekend brunch scene, although a Wednesday morning was a little calmer and probably easier to enjoy. I ordered the Andouille omelette, which was loaded with flavor and came with a massive mound of avocado that made me happy immediately. The side of bacon was perfectly prepared, which sounds simple until you realize how many places still get bacon wrong. This isn't a flashy breakfast spot. Easy 5 stars. Very unique spot that was a five minute walk from our hotel, the Hilton Palm Springs. We sat inside. Unique setup as they brought a chalkboard on an easel as the menu. It is all prix fixe dining. You each choose an app, main course, and dessert. Absolutely worth the hype! Note that they do not take reservations for breakfast or lunch so be sure to get there early or be prepared to wait. The ambience is like no other. Think French countryside, with the decor to match, and a tree on the inside of the restaurant! Down to the choice of napkins, the decor is intentional. We've been to Palm Springs many times and I've had this place bookmarked for too long and never had an opportunity to try it. When my Team and I came into town for a conference, we decided that since it's a weekday, it would be the best time to try this place out. It breathtakingly did not disappoint. I ordered the Complete savory crêpe and had I not been drinking so much water from the heat, I would have devoured this in one sitting. The side salad is a nice touch and balances out the heaviness of the egg and the ham. My coworker had the avocado toast and was overjoyed that it was very plentiful and well portioned. She also ordered a fresh grapefruit juice which she let me try and I found incredibly refreshing. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast places in California! Walked in without a res for brunch and were able to be seated within 10-15mins. It was brutally hot outside, but the misters helped a lot. We were seated indoors (with only AC at the doorway entrance), so it was still extremely warm during the entire meal. Portion size was a lot larger than we expected. We ordered the duck salad, dates/pear/baguette charcuterie board, banana brioche french toast, and chicken burger. The charcuterie board was definitely the highlight, the baguette bread was really well made, soft on the inside and crispy on the thin outer rim. The pear did look a little oxidized, but the date spread made up for it. Duck salad was honestly just ok, but portion size was impressive. I actually enjoyed the salad side from the chicken burger more. Chicken burger itself was ok, lacking some flavor. Banana french toast also came in a huge portion size, and was great for a sweet breakfast. Ordered an iced coffee and it was solid, not sour. Overall loved the vibes of this place, and prices to portion ratio is really solid. Next time would love to come back when it's a bit cooler and sit in the outdoors area. read more

Farm is located in a little plaza center in downtown Palm Springs. The plaza has its own parking and I was able to find a spot easily on a Saturday around 9am. There are two lines upon walking up to the host, the left side is to leave your name with the host and the right side is to check in when you get a text that your table is ready. It was about a 15-20 minute wait so we explored the bookstore 2-3 doors down before receiving our text. The vibes were cute, natural lighting made the place look amazing. My friend and I shared $60 mimosas which came with a bottle of brut (or you can pay for the other bottle) and 4 different juices, OJ, watermelon, grapefruit, and pineapple. I ordered the Croque Monsieur and absolutely loved it. The house potatoes were potatoes. It was okay. Our server and other staff were great. Absolutely divine in every way, it is oozing with classic Palm Springs vintage charm with it's patio seating beneath bougainvillea canopies and dappled sunshine. I grew up in Palm Springs and have loved the old Plaza shopping complex since I can remember. I saw movies like Christmas Story and Rambo First Blood Part two there. So my parents really love FARM and recommended it to me. I have two small dogs and they are dog friendly with an outdoor patio with shade. We found parking in the Plaza luckily right near FARM and put my name in for a party of two outside and we only waited for 20 minutes. Now here is why they get three stars. They sat us in the worst possible outside table in the whole restaurant. It was in the back corner and my view was of the kitchen door that everyone comes in and out of, the servers, bus boys and people stocking the kitchen. Then standing there and to the right three feet away was a huge Palm Tree. It sucked and had zero view. I ordered the veggie omelette with added goat cheese and the other dish was a savory chicken crepe. Both dishes were a little late but they were fresh and amazing. I really thought my omelette was bomb. I tried the crepe and it was amazing. The seats just ruined the whole experience. The manager came and took 20 percent off and told me some crazy story that people who want to not be seen like sitting there, whatever. We tipped the girl like 25 percent but the table sucked so bad. Firstly the water, it tasted decent, you could tell it wasn't just tap water, but it was too cold and just didn't hit to be honest. Moving to the atmosphere, it was good, felt like I was in a back alley. They even had a painting of my ancestors which felt very welcoming. However they had these loud fans that were blowing so much air that stuff on the table was flying away. I ordered the Pepper Tuna Sandwich, and let me say, it was wonderful. The combination of rye bread and tuna was amazing, but the cherry ontop was the raspberry vinagarette that was added inside the sandwich. It's amazing, Something you didn't know you needed, like the sea salt ontop of a chocolate chip cookie. It came with a side of potatoes which were honestly a bit dry by themselves. Definitely ask for a side of sauce with the potatoes. Great flavor otherwise. I don't recommend ordering the Diet Coke however, it felt very stale and flat. No carbonation. The seats and table were more of a casual experience, and the cutlery was also casual. The reasoning for the 3 stars is simply because of the loud aggressive fans and some of the seemingly on edge waiters that looked paranoid and slightly unresponsive. We had to wait a little, which was fine, and while we were waiting, my husband bought me the present I wanted, which was really lovely! We were seated close to the wall, which I appreciated, and the atmosphere was beautiful. It didn't feel like a typical American breakfast place, more like a cozy European spot. What an experience it was to celebrate my birthday here with my fellow friends' birthdays! FARM made our birthday celebration extra special by writing us a card and gave us extra dessert. Our waiter was so attentive and made sure our night was one to remember. They had a set menu of multiple courses that you can choose from. Starting with appetizers and soups, to the main entrees and desserts. Our bellies were so happy to be able to try so many different dishes! Amazing presentation and impressive taste! Farm has immaculate vibes. Mostly outdoor seating with real flowers everywhere, and under the Palm Springs sun it was honestly beautiful. I went in January and the weather made it even better. This is one of those places where you're already happy before the food even comes out. It's also extremely dog friendly, like most of Palm Springs. They brought out water for my pup right away, which was very appreciated. Food-wise, everything was solid. I ordered the canard duck salad, which comes with blue cheese on top. I forgot to ask for it on the side, but still enjoyed it overall. The baked brie was the standout for me. Warm, delicious brie with a good baguette and a date paste that was surprisingly unique and worked really well. They don't have a very extensive coffee menu, which was a little disappointing, but I got the cold brew and it was pretty good. Come here for the atmosphere first, and the food holds up. We've been wanting to try FARM for quite some time but never had a chance on our previous trips to Palm Springs. We were happy to finally check it out and loved the cool farm house ambiance and excellent service. Their Price fixe dinner was very good! We had a choice of an appetizer, main and dessert. They also had a cheaper price fixe meal for our son which was great. All dishes were delicious and we enjoyed the oysters and desserts the best. It was a nice touch to surprise us with a crab cake and limoncello sorbet as a palette cleanser. However, the filet Mignon steak sauce was a bit too peppery and salty for our liking. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you don't usually like strong sauces. It was a good value at $69 per adult for dinner and $30 for our son's meal. Overall a great experience and we hope to come back again to try their brunch menu. read more

Amazing experience at Farm! I was visiting my parents in Palm Springs and they stayed in a hotel in Downtown Palm Springs. We were looking for a breakfast place to go to and immediately this place popped up. We decided to check it out and we're not disappointed. It's in an enclosed area making it quaint and very pretty. Most of their space was outdoor and had a cozy vibe to it. The weather was warm and there were lots of umbrellas to shade from the hot sun. The server was very nice and helped me with recommendations from the menu as well! We were seating quickly and the food came out hot and fast. I ordered the Ham & Cheese Crepe with an egg - and would highly recommend this if you like savory breakfasts. The crepe was on the thicker side, less like your traditional crepe but nonetheless delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and no complaints. We tried to visit on a Sunday late morning and their wait was super long so we ended up not being able to eat here for the first time, but we came back the next day at around 9AM and there was luckily no wait at all! As a table we ordered the baked brie to share, and it was delicious! This was a nice shareable appetizer. I like that they have both sweet and savory crepes! I ordered the Champignons et Fromage with the creme fraiche on the side. The creme fraiche looked very heavy and rich so I'm glad I got it on the side so that I could add as much as I wanted. The mushrooms were so savory and flavorful, this one really hit the spot!
