I stopped in for breakfast with hubby on our way out of Indian Wells. This cute little cafe is family owned I believe as there is cute wall art of the owner and his daughter as a toddler (who looked just like the 2 people working when I went). We got an omelette and breakfast burrito and were satisfied with the portion and flavors. You can tell they use fresh and good quality ingredients. The server was also friendly and attentive. Definitely a good breakfast contender for next time we're in town.

We had a pleasant breakfast, outside this morning. Service was good but not effervescently friendly. The food was good. I had a Santa Monica scramble with chicken, spinach, tomatoes and Emmentaler cheese. My wife had a scramble with corn beef hash (spicy). It was a nice quiet breakfast.

Thinking back, we should have left when we saw how empty this place was around 8:30 am. The food was just not good at all... We ordered chicken and waffles, ranch eggs+ ham+ hash browns with buttermilk pancakes. I think this was by far the worst chicken and waffles we have ever had. The chicken was soggy and it tasted like fried chicken that was microwaved the day after... There was absolutely no flavor in the chicken and the waffles tasted like frozen waffles that were microwaved. The hash brown was soggy as well. One somewhat good thing here was the pancake. The service was great though. If it wasn't for the server's attentiveness, the whole experience would have gone down the gutter.

This place was delicious. I had ordered the green chilaquiles which were good. We also tasted the churro French toast to share and that was also a hit. The service was good. Everyone in our group appeared to have enjoyed their meals. Husband ordered the hangover fries and said they were decent. I'd def come back whenever I'm in the area.

Came in for breakfast around 10:20am on a Sunday. We weren't seated until about 11:00, and with no indoor waiting area, we had to wait outside in the heat--which was pretty rough. Once we were seated, it took about an hour to get our food. Our server let us know the kitchen was backed up, and they did offer a complimentary beverage, which was appreciated. Despite the long wait, the staff was super friendly and the food was really good. I was so hungry by the time it arrived that I forgot to take a picture! I had a cheese omelette, home fries, and a biscuit with gravy--everything came out hot and tasty. The caramel cold brew was also delicious. We were heading back to Orange County and had items in the car that weren't meant to be sitting in the heat for that long, so that part was a bit stressful. Still, I have a feeling they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen. I'll definitely give it another try next time I'm in the desert because the food was good. Just hoping for a shorter wait next time.

Breakfast burrito (no meat) ... you can choose any type of meat if you are a carnivore!!!

To say our experience at this cafe was great is an understatement. My girlfriends and I were in Palm Springs for the weekend on a mother's Day getaway and stumbled up across this café, while en route to Trader Joe's. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was beyond anything we could have asked for. Our waitress, Jahlynn, was the most kind and patient young woman we have interacted with at a restaurant in quite some time. Steve, the owner, insured that anything we needed we were able to get. Interacting with the staff and the owners was probably par to how great the food was!! They made us feel like we were the most important people at the café, and we didn't go without anything! Please do yourself a favor and visit the café. Say hello to Steve and ask for Jahlynn as your server, he will not be disappointed.!!!

Love it, small local mom and pop, been coming for years! Love my blueberry pancakes and impossible sausage. Wifey had egg bacon and hash browns. Service is always friendly and quick! Plenty of parking.

Veggie omelet with Swiss cheese combined with the delicious flavor of this bacon is undeniably the best anywhere in California!

Veggie omelet with Swiss cheese is undeniably the best omelet I've ever had in all of California! The flavor of this bacon is delicious! Better than any I've ever made. Food is consistently delicious and the service is always outstanding.

Had a late breakfast today at Paradise Cove Cafe. The place is small, and old, with some paint peeling off on the wall beside our booth, but appeared clean. Our server was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Biancasada Omelette with a pancake, and my husband had the Chicken Fried Steak. My omelette was good as far as the flavor goes, but unfortunately the carne asada was pretty tough and chewy. Everything else was good. My husband said the best part of his breakfast were the hash browns because he felt the beef they used on his chicken fried steak was not good quality. Overall, it would've been better if the meat had been tender in both of our breakfast, but it wasn't bad.

    Do they have bottomless mimosas?

Yes, Both traditional and their specialty Palm Springs Mimosa!

I see pictures of the menu and they have several different Benedicts and I also see Corned Beef Hash... and I love Irish Benedicts with the corned beef hash as the meat. Do they allow customizing type of orders?

They’ve always been accommodating to me if I have special request so I would give it a try

This seems exactly the same as the Palms Cafe, as the restaurant at this location used to be known. Why the name change? What is the relationship with the other two Palms Cafes in the area?

Palms Cafe food has actually turned Greasy Spoon Diner. PC Cafe is the better value, now.

Do they have gluten free pancakes?

No gluten free pancakes, they do have gluten free toast and corn tortillas

The location was easy to find, ample parking too. The restaurant itself is kind of small (it's kind of more like a coffeehouse with a decent-sized table-service area), but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table on our second visit. (Yep, we liked it enough that we went twice during our trip!) The servers and staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was hot and delicious, and the portions were generous. And there were a good variety of savory and sweet brunch items to choose from. They also serve lunch and have a bakery counter, but I didn't look too hard at those parts of the menu because I knew I wanted the short-rib scramble as soon as I saw it on the online menu, haha! And the biscuits--oh my goodness, they are so good. They taste perfectly homemade and are pillow soft yet just the right amount of crumbly without being a dried, cracking mess. Across my 2 visits, I had the short-rib scramble (yum) and the Meany (basically eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit--yum), and my daughter had the biscuits and gravy, which she said was great. I highly recommend Wilma & Frieda's and will definitely go back on future Palm Springs trips.

I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was really good. The eggs were perfectly poached, the salmon was generous, and the hollandaise was creamy without feeling too heavy. We also shared the bread and cheese board, and surprisingly, the pear with the date spread was probably one of my favorite bites.
