One day I went to withdraw money for people with developmental disabilities because I was going to be out on medical leave due to surgery. The teller looked at me and asked if I can't break up the transaction and return another day. I told her that I would not be able to answer that question. she stated everybody goes through stuff and it's mad early in the morning. I didn't responded and left after my transactions.

On a different occasion, the employee would not even let me withdraw money from my own IRA. He mentioned that I was not allowed to which doesn't make any sense. However on another occasion at a different Bank, I was able to withdraw. It just goes to show the competence of the employees. Honestly it is convenient that the Bank is in Mount Vernon as there is no Bank like TD however it does bring about concerns considering that they aren't sure as to what to do.

None of those places could match A&S, who were basically giving me the market rate for Australian currency. The rate for New Zealand currency was also very competitive. On top of that, there were absolutely no fees! In addition, most of the other currency exchanges did not have enough of Australian and New Zealand dollars on hand, whereas A&S had plenty. I couldn't make it in time on the day I called for the quote, but came in the next day and the rate remained the same. The A&S place opens at 11AM and the worker arrived on time. They require showing ID and accept cash only. The person behind the window was meticulous with counting out the money. He was also knowledgeable about different methods of payment countries accept. As we continued the transaction, he became more friendly and welcoming, sharing about his experience visiting Australia many years ago. Coming here was a pleasant experience and I would definitely check this place first to exchange money for all my international travel!

They buzz you in and the desk is located right in the lobby when you walk in. Luis Melo helped me and he was great. He explained everything You show ID No transaction fee . WOW! I changed $200 and got like 680AED . I checked with airport to see what they would give and it was only 600AED with a $10 transaction fee. I think I did well!
