    Cappuccino with whole milk
    Josh v.

Incredibly good tasting espresso/milk drinks. I had a cappuccino, which often just masks poorly made espresso. But the espresso here was sweet, strong and incredibly good - and you could taste it through virtually anything, and definitely through the perfectly warmed (not scalding) milk. Fast service with freshly ground coffee, made a mostly manual machine, by someone who doesn't stop moving. Seating for 10 at tables, with some benches on the edges. Easy walk near Piety in Bywater; perfect for a sunny day.

I ordered an oat milk latte to go with my order from Small Mart. This was lovely-the latte has a distinct flavor, I tasted berries. It had a velvety froth as well. I would highly recommend them-they have great items for sale as well.

One of the best tasting Matcha lattes I've had. It wasn't too sugary. It was a great balance of the Matcha taste in the milk taste. Who knew oat milk would taste so good with Matcha?!

Cortado on point! I didn't get to hang long but I'd bet the people watching here is also stellar

Best latte I've had in a while! They only use oat milk, and they have MASTERED frothing it. 10/10 vibes as well.

This is a cute walk up coffee window next to Small mart. The coffee is great, all made with Oat milk. The people are super nice. The espresso is great.

Pond is my favorite oat milk latte in the city!!! After cutting down on dairy, I tried lots of options, and Pond take the cake. My husband knows a little more about coffee and looks forward to his weekly americano. Kyle and Josh are always rays of sunshine!

Best in the city. Helped me learn about beans and pick out a bag I'd like. Plus you get a free drink if you buy a bag of beans from them.

We went all in: shrimp and grits that were downright phenomenal (I'm still thinking about them), a goat cheese omelette that was so good it made me question all my past breakfast decisions, and pancakes with berries that tasted like they were made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The coffee? Strong enough to fix your life. The service? Warm, attentive, and somehow psychic--they just knew when we needed refills or another mimosa (which, for the record, felt less like a drink and more like a lifestyle choice). Honestly, this place doesn't just serve breakfast--it gives you a reason to get out of bed. 10/10 would wake up early again... and I do not say that lightly.

I fell into this spot after getting rejected at Brennan's as a potential walk in. Cafe Fleur De Lis was near closing time, but the staff still gave exceptional service. One of the servers overheard me mention a street vendor i wan ted to grab something from and actually saw the vendor while i was eating and i was able to go grab few things. I sincerely appreciate him. The food was very average breakfast food to be honest. My shrimp and grits weren't my favorite. I dislike cheesy grits and they add sour cream and cheese. My dirty chair was gross and I didn't finish it. This place only offers pork which is unfortunate.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.

First off, that honey butta hot chicken sandwich is so delicious. The spice and sweet and the butta is so rich and leaves a long lasting impression. That is the bite you'll be thinking about and returning for. But don't sleep on the donuts either! Normally I'm not huge on donuts but that lil peanut butta cup donut with the whipped peanut mouse and chocolate ganache...yeah ima need that. It's perfectly balanced with the bitter chocolate ganache, and the light mouse. Obviously, after you're eating all this, you're gonna need something to wash it down. They have an excellent selection of coffee and teas, I enjoyed their chai latte, which wasn't too sweet for my pallet. After I thought I couldn't eat anymore, the chicory ice cream spoke to me so I had to answer. Stopping here made for a perfect day of indulgence than walking up and down magazine Street and shopping. The staff here is so nice too! They let us come hang out back here after we were done shopping and needed to rest for a bit. Which was nice because this place has a decent amount of seating and a little patio in the back and some seats out front. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody. Who's in town in New Orleans!
