"Sweet Talkin' Johnny" began singing songs from Tom Petty and we knew we wanted to sit and listen for a while. The interior is decorated with fun pictures throughout, which we loved. The portrait of Kramer from Seinfeld was perfect. My wife also reported the women's room has the famous picture of a naked Burt Reynolds from the Cosmopolitan magazine circa 1972. The men's room has the vintage classic poster of Farrah Fawcett and artwork of a dude on a toilet. We did not ask much about their variety of beers after finding the "Big Ass Umbrella" IPA, but we believe they have 16 taps, which, we think include both a variety of their own beers as well as other hard beverages such as seltzers and ciders. Homebrew specializes in adult beverages that are local to North Carolina so if you want someone visiting to have a taste of home then this is the place. They are dog-friendly (they have smoothie bowls for dogs I believe). They have sip-and-paint classes about once a month and local bands on the regular. They even have a karaoke night!
