Dr. Curry is a woman of grace and talent. For 45 years, I dodged and weave away from any dentist unless it was necessary. I found Dr. Curry seven years ago and have been going to her for my dental work ever since with regular check ups and cleaning. For a year and a half I dealt with Dr Curry. My best suggestion is to hold on very tight to your insurance wallet. She filled me with a mouthful of crowns, did not fix any cavities whatsoever had five teeth pulled. When I really started questioning this entire process, she decided there was no trust and she didn't want to work with me anymore. I said so you're just going to leave me with five missing teeth and not finish the job. She said that was indeed what she was going to do. I think that's pretty heartless. When I would talk to her dental receptionist, she would tell me one entire different story. And then Dr Curry would tell me something entirely different. It wasn't that I didn't trust it was that I couldn't get straight answer. Also, my last appointment they took an x-ray and didn't even put a protective vest on me. I would say that's pretty sloppy but she certainly got that 2200 for a crown even though I had not made the appointment for a crown. You're right Dr Curry I completely don't trust you. if I could leave a zero review I would. the owner is a huge blemish on the dental practice as a whole and I'm so thankful I have a trusted friend in the industry (spelman graduate) to show and help recover from this damage done by her. after having perfect teeth all my life I was told I needed 8 cavities filled ALL MERCURY FILLINGS and years of pain later I'm finally getting extracted. when informing Lisa of the pain I was gaslit and told to leave the office. please save yourself and your loved ones ! do not think she is an advocate of people of color in any way she is absolutely an agent of chaos, a wolf in sheep's clothing and i assure you if you research what nerves attached to teeth she is cutting your lifespan!!! What wonderful staff truly care about each and every patient from the warm welcome coming coming into the front door made me feel very excited that I made the right choice to be treated at this dental office . I have been going to Curry Dental Center since 2004 and have been going back even though they are not very close to me anymore. I have been very lucky to have needed minimal work done (cleanings and fluoride, and a couple cavities), but I guess that could be because I have a highly effective dentist. I recently had my teeth whitened (for a great price) and the compliments came pouring in. Dentist: Dr. Curry is amazing. She provides a painless and entertaining visit. I am not particularly fond of the dentist, so she entertains me with funny stories during my time in the chair. I don't understand how she is able to insert the numbing needle (novicaine?) without me even feeling it. She reminds you to practice good dental cleaning without being condescending or chiding. I can appreciate that. Equipment: The equipment is clean, modern, and up-to-date. Dr. Curry has all her records - even the x-rays electronically. Also, the toothbrushes you get at the end of the visit are AWESOME and cannot be found anywhere else. Office staff: The staff at Curry Dental Center are professional, courteous, and responsive. Clarence at the front desk is really helpful and quite funny. I have seen them interacting with child patients and they are very good with them. Location, office: the office is right off of the highway and near many shopping and dining options for pre- and post - visits. The office is very clean and nicely decorated. This woman is a fraud and performs unnecessary procedures! I regrettably took my children in as new patients. There is zero room for a parent to be near during a procedure and I was encouraged to wait in the lobby.(I realize now why) I heard my daughter(who has a tremendously strong pain threshold) trying to muffle herself from crying and when I checked on her I found that she pulled a tooth without anesthesia and without consent! She also "found 2 cavities" and said braces were needed. Fortunately my insurance changed and we scheduled an appointment with a new practice to fix the aforementioned cavity and braces concerns this hack recommended. To my bewilderment our new dentist said after reviewing her records(from Lisa Curry) and looking for himself that my daughter didn't have any cavities and she didn't need braces! I have never given a bad review to any business ever but this is too big to ignore. Get a 2nd opinion before you or your kids become just a revenue source for this charlatan! Dr. Curry is definitely gentle and she talks us through procedures even if it's just a cleaning. As a child I use to get anxious going to the dentist. Curry dental was listed as an in network provider for Dente Max. I called to schedule a cleaning and since I had recently had a bad experience having to pay additional fees for dental service not covered under my plan I was very explicit about wanting my coverage verified before my appointment. I was assured by Clarence that my insurance would cover 100% of the cleaning. I am now being billed $ 7.00 from Curry dental...the balance my insurance did not cover since it exceeded the reasonable & customary fees. Not happy with the way this was handled at all! read more

I have been a patient at Curry Dental Center since 2007. My mother who was 87 was also a patient. The staff worked well with my mother who had had a stroke. Dr, Curry as a dentist is thorough,and very competent. She is also a pleasant person as are the whole staff. She explains dental procedures and there is always a statement of what it will cost. My opportunity to experience Dr. Curry's dental care was excellent. Dr. Curry is very passionate and detailed about her work. I was really amazed when I first start coming to her about 6 months ago. Her staff members are very nice and detailed with their work. My first visit with them was like a WOW experience. I had never had a detail cleaning like that before. It made my mouth feel brand new from getting such detailed work. I have experienced them cleaning my teeth, x-rays, NEEDLES, fillings, crown, preparation for a partial replacement and etc. They have really made me comfortable with getting needles because I never liked them (LOL). All their work is done with care and detailed explanation while doing the work. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. I would recommend anyone to come experience what I've experienced.
