Curry Corner came first, then Curry House. Both taste the same, very good. It's my understanding that an ambitious original Curry Corner chef quit to start Curry House. It's been a while since I've been to Curry House. Since then they've raised their lunch special prices. Also, when you order garlic Naan they charge you for a SECOND Naan and add $3.95 to your bill. Curry Corner just charges you another buck or two for an upgrade to garlic Naan. I didn't need a second Naan at Curry House. I don't like Curry House's ambitious, creative price gouging or their higher lunch special pricing. A total of $17.48 for a lunch special when there's another, equally good curry Corner just down the road? No thanks, I'm staying with Curry Corner instead. read more

I called and order the lunch special today which was the lamb curry with rice and my choice of vegetables. I chose the curried spinach. It was so delicious! I always love coming to this restaurant if your wanting a real authentic Indian cuisine and the staff there is always so friendly. I haven't sat in the restaurant in almost a year and when I came by to pick up my order the staff there remembered me. When this placed open they were really good. Now it's hit or miss. Ordered the non vegetarian chefs special and they gave me the curry house special. We also ordered extra samosas. The lady at the restaurant insisted we come and pick up the missing items either that night or the next day, and didn't want to give us a refund for the food we did not receive with our order. In fact, they ADDED the cost for the appetizer to our purchase when it came down to it. So now we have paid twice for something we didn't receive. We have had other things not turn out as we ordered in the past, basically no flavor even when ordered hot ???, or there was goat in my lamb dish on more than one occasion (I can tell the difference), but we've let it go. The cheese Naan is stuffed with plenty of homemade cheese and great for soaking up all the sauces. The Curry House Special is India in a plate. The Tandoori chicken has a little char in it from the tandoor clay oven. Dont let the red color fool you as it is not spicy (hot) and has a slightly smoky taste that pairs nicely with the raita. The raita is a creamy almost soupy yogurt side dish that with some mint and cucumber taste like a Indian tzatziki. The chicken curry is a thicker sauce that is not overly spiced and is a more savory sauce. The chicken tikka masala is a smoother creamy tomato sauce that is slightly sweet. The butyer paneer masala is what we always come back to. Homemade Indian cheese that is in a creamy tomato sauce. The creamy smooth sauce was the sweetest of the night but not overly rich like a classic italian tomato sauce. The butter taste is pronounced and blends in with the cream perfectly. DONT GO HERE My family and I recently went here. We were originally looking for a southern place, but it turned out that that place was closed. After driving for a while, we werent about to head home, we looked next door and figured that Indain food sounded good, plus the 'people love us on Yelp' sticker helped us in our decision. The one positive thing i have to say about this place is that the appetizers are great, which set my expectations high for the entrees. However, the main courses were all too sweet. Indian food is supposed to be spicy and nice, but this was the opposite of that. The food really messed with my stomach. Right after eating there we checked yelp only to find a 4 star rating which was all too surprising, we read one review stating that they had mysterious charges on their credit card which we didnt want to believe. The day after eating here, what do you know, we had a charge for 250 dollars at pacsun a place where no one in my family shops at. My only advice is to not go here. read more
