    Beef Pad-se-ew , 3.5/5
    Myra M.

We hadn't been back here in over 6 years (due to a military move), so now that we moved back we had to try this place again. THEY NOW HAVE PHO!!! So we HAD to try it. The pho restaurant in Yelm was our go to for pho 6 years ago but since moving back, we heard the original owners moved and it shows. I'm so happy to have another Pho alternative near by. The broth was so rich and flavorful and the meat was very tender! I'm hoping they'll keep this on their menu, it said limited time special so idk if they'll stop eventually but I sure hope not! The coconut shrimp were tasty as well. I had the beef pad se ew and it was just okay, I probably wouldn't get it again since it lacked on flavor and the texture wasn't what it's supposed to be. (We have had plenty of this same dish at other places) We also had the Thai iced coffee and that was very good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean and somewhat elegant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was great. I say definitely come here for the pho! Overall I give it a 4.5/5

Out Harley riding and Yelm was where i found myself hungry. I have been here long ago and liked it. I ordered the best EVA fresh pork shrimp salad rolls and the best EVA peanut sauce. Main course was pork yellow curry. And this was their one flaw. The curry was great .....but. I ordered it 4 spicy level. Disappointedly it was a weak 2 spicy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice clean interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will return.

This is such an awesome place! The dining room has such a decent atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. The food is great, especially if you like Thai food! I had the pad Thai and it was phenomenal. The food is fairly priced and service was prompt and friendly. Definitely will be going back.

So good nothing is left lol they even have coconut shrimp. We had pineapple curry & teriyaki beef. Plus taro and Thai tea boba.

Great food, ambiance and service. Server was very patient Lucy was amazing, attentive and very patient with her customers despite being very busy. The spice was right not too much and not too little. You have to be patient with your order since it is made fresh and I appreciated that. Nice clean place and good drinks also. A definite must visit if you're in Yelm.

Supposedly a pork spring roll. Where's the pork?

I wanted so much to be like this place, especially since the other Thai restaurant in town closed. A few weeks ago we got a to go order. Part of that was pork spring rolls. Not only were they so poorly wrapped that they fell apart, but it contained almost no pork. Basically just a salad in a rice wrapper. Figured that might have just been an off night, so we tried them again. Got the pineapple curry. For something with the word pineapple in the name, it had only 2 tidbits in the whole thing. Ok, that could be forgiven. Except for what I can only imagine what was coffee grounds in the curry! I'm seriously worried about their attention to detail, and also food safety. Just spend the time to go somewhere in Lacey instead.

Decided to go eat dinner by myself tonight. The guys were in Puyallup and I found myself in Yelm, by home. Ive bought food from here before, but to go, not dine in. So I figured out why not. I was greeted by a nice guy and was offered to sit anywhere of my choosing by a nice lady. The place is clean, and only some tables were finished with plates, napkin, and fork. After I looked over the menu I decided to try their grilled shrimp (appetizer: 8/10 I wish they changed the named to grilled shrimp peanut salad, because lets face it, it was a salad, with grilled prawns, and peanut sauce not bad) so far off to a good start. I also asked for a thai iced tea which wasnt served in a glass since I was dining in, but in a to go boba container which put me off a little but you cant go wrong with thai iced tea, but maybe serve it in a glass for customers who choose to dine in 6/10. For my main dishes I asked for the Red Lantern Chicken (9/10 cooked well, over a few steamed veggies in a peanut sauce with white rice that was served in a sushi rice bowl, which also threw me off. It's white rice, just serve it in a metal or white small bowl. ) and Pineapple curry 5/10 with pork and the meat was over cooked or not cooked enough so it could've been tender to chew. Sercive was pleasant and both persons were nice to me. Might try them again, but as for now just a 3 star because of the food. The employees were sweet.

Giving a 3 star because my hubby liked it. The Good Peanut sauce was amazing which makes me wish we'd ordered Thai dishes from here. The Bad Nothing The So So (hubby ate, I didn't care for any of it) Chicken satay Sweet & Sour Chicken Chow Mein Service not great not terrible

    Yellow curry was delicious.

Everyone's food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. The only negative was none of our sides were put in our togo. :(

We ordered Yang Chow fried rice and the Honey Walnut prawns which were recommended by a customer that eats here at least once a week.

For the price the portions are laughable. The food tastes good, you just don't get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 stars!…read more Bloom Thai was absolutely fantastic! The food was authentic, fresh, and seriously amazing. I received a recommendation from Erica on TikTok, and it was definitely well worth the visit! We had the shrimp Pad Thai and the basil chicken fried rice. The fried rice had a little spice to it, which made it even better. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back! If you're looking for amazing Thai food in Lakewood, Bloom Thai is a must-try!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

The sauce is perfect - not too sweet and not too salty- just the right balance of flavor. The chicken satay was well marinated with lemongrass flavor and it was the juiciest chicken breast ever-- loved! This place is located in the corner of a little shopping center so plenty of parking. Make sure you give this a try! Enjoy!

So my hubs mentioned he'd been craving Thai food, so I ordered takeout from Pattaya Thai. They're…read moreclose by, we've always enjoyed the food, and we've had great experiences both dining in and ordering from them over the years. Since the whole family was working late, I decided to splurge a little for an early Father's Day treat. While placing the order, I remember thinking, "Man, we NEVER spend over $100 on takeout." Usually if we're splurging, we go somewhere that gives you a lot more food for the money. I was genuinely excited because I ordered many of the same things we've enjoyed when dining in. But wow. And not in a good way. The portion sizes were shocking. The egg rolls looked more like lumpia. Two tiny ones cut in half for $10? The fresh spring rolls? One roll cut in half for $10. And its 97% cabbage. The larb salad that cost nearly $20 wasn't even enough for one full serving. It came with what was basically a tiny sliver of lettuce, maybe an inch thick if I'm being generous, and what looked like about a half cup of protein. For twenty bucks, I honestly thought there had to be part of the order missing. I've been going there for years, both dining in and ordering takeout, and I swear you get at least double these portions when you eat in the restaurant. I understand food costs have gone up. We all know that. But this felt excessive. I chose Pattaya Thai because my husband works incredibly hard and deserved a delicious Father's Day treat. Instead, I spent over $100 on takeout that couldn't comfortably feed a family of three. The Pad Thai was delicious, as always. No complaints there. But for the price versus quantity, I left feeling disappointed. I've always enjoyed Pattaya Thai, which is why this was so surprising. If you're considering takeout, you may want to think twice and make sure you're comfortable with the portions being served for what you're paying. Just being honest about my experience as a longtime customer who's enjoyed both dining in and takeout over the years.
