    Beef Pad-se-ew , 3.5/5
    Myra M.

We hadn't been back here in over 6 years (due to a military move), so now that we moved back we had to try this place again. THEY NOW HAVE PHO!!! So we HAD to try it. The pho restaurant in Yelm was our go to for pho 6 years ago but since moving back, we heard the original owners moved and it shows. I'm so happy to have another Pho alternative near by. The broth was so rich and flavorful and the meat was very tender! I'm hoping they'll keep this on their menu, it said limited time special so idk if they'll stop eventually but I sure hope not! The coconut shrimp were tasty as well. I had the beef pad se ew and it was just okay, I probably wouldn't get it again since it lacked on flavor and the texture wasn't what it's supposed to be. (We have had plenty of this same dish at other places) We also had the Thai iced coffee and that was very good! The place is clean and somewhat elegant. The service was great. I say definitely come here for the pho! Overall I give it a 4.5/5

Out Harley riding and Yelm was where i found myself hungry. I have been here long ago and liked it. I ordered the best EVA fresh pork shrimp salad rolls and the best EVA peanut sauce. Main course was pork yellow curry. And this was their one flaw. The curry was great .....but. I ordered it 4 spicy level. Disappointedly it was a weak 2 spicy. Nice clean interior. I will return.

This is such an awesome place! The dining room has such a decent atmosphere that adds to the dining experience. The food is great, especially if you like Thai food! I had the pad Thai and it was phenomenal. The food is fairly priced and service was prompt and friendly. Definitely will be going back.

So good nothing is left lol they even have coconut shrimp. We had pineapple curry & teriyaki beef. Plus taro and Thai tea boba.

Great food, ambiance and service. Server was very patient Lucy was amazing, attentive and very patient with her customers despite being very busy. The spice was right not too much and not too little. You have to be patient with your order since it is made fresh and I appreciated that. Nice clean place and good drinks also. A definite must visit if you're in Yelm.

Supposedly a pork spring roll. Where's the pork?

I wanted so much to be like this place, especially since the other Thai restaurant in town closed. A few weeks ago we got a to go order. Part of that was pork spring rolls. Not only were they so poorly wrapped that they fell apart, but it contained almost no pork. Basically just a salad in a rice wrapper. Figured that might have just been an off night, so we tried them again. Got the pineapple curry. For something with the word pineapple in the name, it had only 2 tidbits in the whole thing. Ok, that could be forgiven. Except for what I can only imagine what was coffee grounds in the curry! I'm seriously worried about their attention to detail, and also food safety. Just spend the time to go somewhere in Lacey instead.

    Yellow curry was delicious.

Everyone's food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. The only negative was none of our sides were put in our togo. :(

Giving a 3 star because my hubby liked it. The Good Peanut sauce was amazing which makes me wish we'd ordered Thai dishes from here. The Bad Nothing The So So (hubby ate, I didn't care for any of it) Chicken satay Sweet & Sour Chicken Chow Mein Service not great not terrible

The food wasn't tasteful at all, very bland. The egg rolls were super thin and unraveling. The crab rangoons had close to no filling. The chicken wings were the best part of this meal but the breading was soggy, however, they were the exception as the sauce was tasty. The pad Thai wasn't that good either but edible. The chow mein was super bland, do not recommend! Save your money and go elsewhere. The prices are super expensive and I normally wouldn't mind if the food was at least good but that wasn't the case.

We ordered Yang Chow fried rice and the Honey Walnut prawns which were recommended by a customer that eats here at least once a week.

For the price the portions are laughable. The food tastes good, you just don't get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, I was looking at an outdated menu on Yelp, so the spicy tofu soup is no longer on the lunch specials, AND if you want a "lunch special," it needs to be specified when placing the order. I assumed that because it was lunch time, I would be paying the lunch pricing? That wasn't the case when I arrived. Parking seems to only be on the same side as the barber shop (which i think is connected to the restaurant as well?). When I walked in, I didn't really check out the place. Seems like a classic no-frills Korean restaurant. An ajumma (아줌마) appeared at the register after a couple seconds (lol that is the first description that came to mind). I informed her of my phone order and she brought out the food and rang me up for around $55? I was thinking, yikes, that's a steep price for a spicy tofu soup and a lunch special of the galbi and mentioned it to her. She told me that the portion made is not the lunch special and next time, make sure to specify that over the phone if I want the Lunch special or dinner portion. She clarified, while acting out the mannerisms, of customers that would complain about the Lunch special, because they would want a dinner portion instead, so she just places general orders as the dinner portion. (I can already imagine the Karens she must have received for her reaction, which is understandable, but at the time, I was just slightly irritated since I was hoping to pay a cheaper price.) I am assuming after this experience, there is a difference in portion size for the lunch and dinner pricing.. Besides the miscommunication, I can at least say that the food was prepared quickly since it was ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant (about 15 mins after I placed the order?). With the outcast weather, I was craving some soondubu, and Seoul Garden definitely delivered! The tofu portions were generous and the broth was the right amount of spicy where you can taste the flavor but it is not overwhelming. I was not expecting so many complementary sides either! They paired very well with the rice and galbi, which was thoroughly marinated in a delectable glaze. Even though I was initially frustrated that I received the dinner portion, I calmed down after eating the galbi. My son and I actually ended up devouring it.. the food was so good, I totally forgot about the pricing at the moment. Just keep in mind though, this place is not advertised as KBBQ, so you're paying for individual plates/dishes/orders that should already be cooked. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are certain staples you really enjoy (i.e. you're only craving bulgogi but don't want to go out to eat or grill it), because it is arguably just as expensive as KBBQ. But if you're a foodie that can afford it, I'd suggest stopping by to try it out yourself! :)

The restaurant is easy to find, located in a plaza with other businesses, so there's plenty of parking available. I also like that their hours are posted in military time; it's a small detail, but it removes any confusion about opening and closing times. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. We arrived around 17:00 on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. Service was friendly from start to finish--menus were brought promptly, and we were asked about drinks right away (water was perfect for us). Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive, refilling our water and clearing dishes at just the right times. We started with the agedashi tofu to share. The broth was flavorful and the tofu was prepared well, with that soft, gooey, gelatinous consistency. While it wasn't quite my personal preference (I tend to favor a crispier texture), it was still tasty and likely ideal for those who enjoy it that way. For our main dishes, my son ordered the tonkatsu corn ramen, and I had the black garlic ramen (without bean sprouts--personal preference). This was our first ramen spot since moving to Washington, and it genuinely reminded us of a favorite place we used to visit in Sacramento. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply savory--absolutely delicious. I especially liked that the ramen was served with a ladle instead of a standard soup spoon, which made it easier to sip more of the broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not too firm, not too soft--and paired really well with the toppings. My son even commented on the generous portion of noodles, which I joked was exactly what we signed up for when ordering ramen! We both finished our bowls feeling completely satisfied. The chashu and egg were highlights for me--I took my time consuming them. My only small critique is that I wish the ramen included a full soft-boiled egg instead of just half, especially with bowls averaging around $17. Overall, this was a great dining experience with flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. While I have a couple of minor preferences, I would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for quality ramen in the area.
