Excellent food. The best I've had in a long time. Really well priced. I ordered the curry house special which includes chicken tikki masala, tandori chicken, lamb curry, naan, rice, and rice pudding for $15. The naan was cooked fresh and was really really good. Can't wait to try more of the varieties. We loved the spice in the rice pudding. Really everything was spiced really well. The mild choice was perfect for a tame eater, but even the options with more spice were flavorful and spiced perfectly. Highly recommend the Aloo Tikki appetizer as well. We brought home tons of leftovers and can't wait to have them for lunch tomorrow. Small restaurant with good music and great service. The food was very good. The service, not so much. Right from the beginning our waitress seemed bothered by us being there. My wife asked questions about the food and she would just reply, "It says on the menu" several times adamantly but the menu did not answer her question. We had to tell her several times that the menu does not have the answer to her questions. We got our food in a timely manner but towards the end of the meal our waitress came back and asked us if we are done because another customer needs the table. This is a 4.7 star. Great food, nice people. And we always debate whether it is Curry house or Curry Corner with the best food. When you have two Indian restaurants within 1 mile of each other, kinda related to each other (Curry house cook used to work at Curry corner), then I count myself lucky. I like the vegetarian meal. We were out all day Saturday shopping and was looking forward to some good Indian food. We've been anticipating it all day since we haven't tried it at the Curry House yet. We got there about 8:25 pm and had a seat. As we were enjoying our time, we noticed there was a few people (approx. 4 people) still in the restaurant. About that time, one of the employees came over and I mentioned about getting an appetizer right away as we were still wanting to look over the menu. The first thing that seems to come out in response was the mentioning of the time. She said we close at 9 pm and said it's 8:30 now, but stops herself to ask another employee what time it was. Although I noticed on the menu that the last time anyone could order was 8:30, they close at 9 pm. We were a bit turned off by the abruptness by making sure we were aware of the time. We went ahead and ordered our dinner by 8:30 and waited for our appetizer. We received the appetizer in good time and enjoyed it. Minutes later we got our entree and started eating it. Throughout the time we were eating, it seemed like the staff were more concerned about closing the restaurant at 9 pm then ensuring we were enjoying our dinner. As my wife was sitting facing the entrance, I was facing the kitchen and noticed a few minutes prior to closing our waitress was standing near the kitchen watching everyone finishing their meals. We felt like we were being rushed into finishing our meal. At one point, my wife was still eating and our waitress came over, picked up my finished plate and without asking, took away the sauces from our table. Regardless, she continued to eat without wanting more sauce. As 9 pm arrived, our waitress had her coat on while waiting for people to leave. They turned off all the tv's without asking anyone, even ourselves, if they were watching the show. Such lack of class and disrespect towards your customers doesn't warrant a tip in service or possibly returning for a future date. Other restaurants I've been to would strive to ensure you have an enjoyable dinner and let you finish without feeling rushed. In conclusion, if you come in the evening just before closing, prepare to feel rushed and annoyed by their treatment. My wife and I believe the food was very good but would only come in during the lunch period so as not to feel disrespected. If not, then we would rather not return. We would have given them one star because of Customer Service and such. However, the food was very good so we had to give it 2 stars. read more

Oh my this was yummy! I just went here for lunch today on the way down to ocean shores and couldn't have made a better lunch choice! The portions are huge and you get a ton of options. Plus, and this is the best part, they serve their lunches in these metal trays reminiscent of school lunch trays! I love having separate sections :) the food is outstanding! Excellent Indian food. You can't go wrong with any of the lunch specials. I probably would have given them 5 stars except for 2 things. First, I don't like the nan as much as I have at other places. It's a little thicker/more bready than I like. It is probably just a personal preference. The 2nd reason is Curry Corner is right down the road which I prefer, although I admit, at least in the items that I have tried, this is like trying to compare Harvard and Stanford, you can quibble about which is best, but you really can't go wrong with either. read more

Curry cooked by angels! Chicken Tikka Masada, hands down best I've ever eaten. The rice is so fragrant, the garlic Naan bread is good and the mango Lassi was delicious. I really enjoyed the Lamb Nirvana and Naan.. The lamb was so tender the it could I cut it with a fork. The portions were very big enough for two, and full of meat. They have a daily lunch special which is a great deal which runs from 10- 1430. Unfortunately, for me I arrived after.. I will definitely make it that next time. read more

This place has great Curry! My wife and have tried several places around the area and for the quality you cant beat it's wonderful flavor.
