Fantastic Indian food with authentic flavor! Drove up to Humble to check out this restaurant after my wife saw good reviews for it and boy, was it a good find!! We had the bhel puri and palak chaat which was absolutely divine! The palak chaat is the chef's own creation and is a must have! The biryani and paneer makhani were a delight. Not often that one finds very authentic Indian food in Houston but this one wins 5 stars for quality and quantity along with great taste. Highly recommend this restaurant!! read more

My friend came into town for a visit, and we chose Curry Sultan for lunch. Russell, the owner, was the only person working on Wednesday, and did his best to serve his customers and cook as well; I didn't get the impression that anyone else was working at the time. We ordered samosas, which were piping hot, and delicious with the sauce. Our entrees, Chicken Biriyani and Butter Chicken, with an order of plain naan were excellent. We also ordered raita, but I wasn't a fan of this particular recipe. I like raita with just cucumber mixed into the yoghurt. I actually like just plain yoghurt with the meal, which is what was served with the very first Indian food I had many years ago. I happened be in the area after riding some horses. I am south indian and the food was really good. I got the mango lassi and nimboo pani (lemonade). The drinks were really good. I wanted to try out the elaneer( coconut water) but didn't have enough room in my stomach. I ended up getting the chicken tikka and garlic naan. They were both good. I should have gotten some raita to go with it. The chicken tikka was moist and tender. I got mine extra hot and you can pick how spicy you want your meat. Some indian restaurants have dry chicken tikka. This was a home run. I will definitely stop by here again if I come to the area. read more

Very pleased!!! We ate there tonight and it was delicious! They were more than happy to bring down the food spiciness level to "baby mild" for our one year old. And she looooved. My daughter was inhaling chicken tiki masala and paneer cheese with peas like it was her job. We've ordered at home before (they deliver!) and it was great then too. We also tried their deserts. While it's not your typical desert it was still fabulous. We had ice cream with basil seeds on it, that we paired with a different desert made with nuts, milk, saffron and cardamom. Omg eat them together (not sure if they were meant to go together) but it was delish. I only wish I had more tummy space. read more

No complaints about this place. I am not a big Indian cuisine person however if Indian food is as good and healthy everywhere else as it is here, I will be eating a lot more Indian cuisine. The owner waited on us and he was not just knowledgeable but friendly. We had Chicken Tikka Marsala, Lamb Kebabs, Beef Kotta, and Paneer Mahkni along with Naan bread both plain and garlic. Just tried this for the first time with Grubhub delivery. The daal soup was 1/4 grease just sitting on the top. Disgusting. My husband has the "lamb kebab" which was a couple of pieces of super thin, bland meat on top of some tiny romaine lettuce leaves. Waste of money and my appetite. read more

This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had! So far I have had the carrot soup and the Paneer Makhni. I loved them both and might have ordered the same thing when I came back for my second visit. I plan on many more visits and trying other dishes. I really like the food here. The chef is very informative and offers great suggestions, he's a really personable guy and will remember your name. I've only been twice and love the beef kofta, samosas, butter chicken, choley and seekh kabob wrap. I'll be back to try more. I'll have to take pictures next time. It's all very fresh and this means you may have to wait. If you are starving I recommend getting a quick appetizer or even some naan to tide you over. I have been multiple times and it's always clean (never lingering dirty dishes etc) Daal of the day is real nice, I recommend at least medium spice. Highly recommend. read more

I was on a strict diet from my Dr. so I couldn't enjoy the potatoes in my dish, rice or any of the naan my husband ordered, but the Garlic Naan had lots of yummy looking garlic on it. Our first visit to this little Indian Restaurant and it turned out to be a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Who knew? We shared the vegetable pakora as an appetizer at the recommendation of the chef/owner, and it was a delicious start to the meal - breaded veggies with an addictive spice and a tasty mint chutney. And a couple of Kingfisher beers... Dinner for her was the Jahengiri Pilaf, fresh, expertly cooked rice with a fantastic taste combination. I had the lamb biryani - it was a very generous portion which I ate until I was scraping the plate, and every bite was terrific - it was literally the most tender, tasteful lamb I've eaten. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable, the service was personable and efficient and the restaurant as a whole has a welcoming feel. The food was outstanding. We love independent restaurants that serve fresh, innovative, well prepared food. While there are unfortunately only a few in the Humble area, the good news here is that there is one more - Curry Sultan. Hi, I am Alex i have ordered a delivery of chicken masala and samosas, big samosas filled completely with minced meet. Mint chatni and raita were also good. Chicken masala I have ordered hot, chicken was cooked perfect. The chilli past was spot on very hot the way I like but chicken masala is a gravy/curry dish only thing was missing was a heavy whipping cream and little yogurt to simmer chicken boti pieces and chilli paste.
