Butter Chicken Garlic Naan Mango Lassi

The food is absolutely incredible i've tried plenty of Paskistani places and this one definitely stands out. too bad im not from the area otherwise I would be coming here everyday. Service is great the people are incredibly nice and care about what they they put on your plate. And the environment is so calm and welcoming. the TV shows they put on are entertaining even though I can't understand them. I love stained glass lamps

The food was amazing! I had the lamb chops and a karak tea that was delicious! Very friendly service will definitely go back!

    Butter chicken with rice

The food was amazin! Ordered some samosas that are absolutely a must as an appetizer. Our main dishes were a plate of butter chicken (creamy mildy spice Currie with flavors that fill your mouth. My favorite ) and chicken tikka botti (which is similar to grilled chicken with its unique and tasty flavor) paired with a mango lassi. The man who got out order was very nice and patient with us. He answered questions over the menu and waited patiently for our decision, so don't be afraid to ask him for questions or suggestions.

Stopped in with the husband. Family owned. Friendly service and food was tasty. We didn't have to wait long either. The place was empty so we enjoyed eating in peace. Samosa and the sauce it came with was fire! So delicious! We spent about $60 for 2 samosas, goat curry with rice, beef kabob with garlic naan, small lentil soup, salad, a coke and water. We did have leftovers :)

This was my first time to ever eat Halal food. As a special request from one of my customers, I decided to get Halal food today. I relied solely on yelp reviews for the area I was in and decided on Maza Pakistani Grill based on those reviews. The location is conveniently located about 1/2 mile north of Beltway 8 on JFK Boulevard close to Bush Intercontinental Airport. When I first walked into the restaurant, I immediately noticed how spotless everything was. This place is really clean. I also noticed how good it smelled. The spices used in this restaurant smelled wonderful and the aroma filled air. I ordered the lamb curry. I was not expecting the lamb to have the bone in it. As my Pakistani customer told me, it's best just to eat it with your fingers instead of trying to use a fork and knife to cut the meat off the bones. He said eat it with your fingers and that way you can bite around the bone easier. I was almost finished when he suggested I do that so I ended up eating the whole thing with the fork. I did have to remove bones from my mouth with my fingers throughout the process. The taste of the lamb along with the curry and white rice was the perfect amount of spice and an awesome flavor. It also came with tzatziki sauce. Based on the lamb that I had today and not knowing what fully to expect, I would like to try other Halal meals with chicken and beef. The owner was there and introduced me to his two business partners as well. Suneel Khan was very friendly and represented his restaurant very well. Bottom line - If you are in the general area of Bush Intercontinental Airport and would like to try some really good Halal f, do not be afraid to give this place a try. It was my first experience but I thought it was very good. Bon appétit.

Fish Masala over Rice is the dish I get almost every time.... It was even my Christmas dinner once!! (I'm a pilot, often stuck at IAH) It is always cooked exactly as I like it, which is of course the best way; crispy and loaded with masala spices... yum yum yummy!!

Great spot to check out if you're staying at the Hilton. It was in a little shopping mall not too far away. All I have I have to say is that the food was amazing and hit the spot! I ordered the butter chicken combo and she ordered the lamb combo. The lamb was everything I thought it would be and the butter chicken was bomb. It's a nice mom/pop restaurant with great service. I don't think you can really go wrong here I will definitely check this place out again when I'm back in Houston. The only downside is that the side salad wasn't really a salad. More like a few pieces of tomatoes and lettuce. Overall, I would highly suggest this restaurant.

    Butter Chicken - delicious!!

If you are reading this, EAT HERE. We pulled up Yelp after AAU Jr. Olympics. Oh my stars, the food was incredible! We had fresh, hot, crispy, delicious samosas with just the right amount of spice. We ordered lamb curry, masala chicken, & butter chicken. Made fresh, great service! We had a Nutella paratha for dessert which was incredible! This is some of the best Pakistani/Indian food we've ever had! We will definitely return when we're in the area!

I say "main server" because there is a roving band of servers to make sure they don't miss anything! All the dishes were wonderful, however everything had some "spice", so be careful if you "can't take the heat". The menu is huge, so I believe there has to be something for everyone. The ambience is minimalist, clean bright, "food hall", but in a good way. Not a dark cozy date night place, but more bright, family restaurant decor. Because there are so many choices, I will be back, and could probably eat here all week long and not repeat a meal. Full disclosure however, we were there on a Tuesday, so everything was very chill. The menu is pretty extensive. While waiting for our food we were given cucumbers and carrots with a dill yogurt type sauce. If I knew how spicy the food was going to be, I wouldn't have enjoyed them before my entree. I specifically asked what the mild dishes were but my food was still inedible. Unfortunately I cannot tolerate anything spicy. And apparently they do not accommodate heat levels so you get what you get. Literally everything we were served except the naan was way too spicy for me. Even my son who enjoys spicy food found the "medium" was very spicy. Food aside, the service was not very hospitable. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The service is fast but don't expect any niceties. When we were asked how we liked the food, my son mentioned the heat level and was basically reprimanded on how "next time he should listen to the server". With it being one of the top restaurants, this experience has left me scratching my head. Overall, I'm glad I was able to finally give this place a shot but for me, it doesn't live up to the hype.
