WOW! I definitely have to disagree with the review that says this place isn't spectacular. It is one of the best new spots I've been to in the greater Atlanta area in a long time! The food here was good--nothing wrong with it, but nothing spectacular to note. The naan was a little odd. Not true naan; more like buttery flatbread. The wait was very long for a fast casual place. There was only one register open on a Friday evening, and many people had questions about the menu and needed explanations, so it took quite a while to get to the front of the line. The actual wait for our food wasn't unreasonable. It was clear they are still working out some of the kinks; that's understandable. There are lots of Indian restaurants in this area, though, so for the price we'd rather go to Luqma or Masala and get real naan. read more

My husband and I tried this place for lunch today and thought it was delicious! Prior to ordering a petite, adorable Indian woman welcomed us and when she discovered it was our first time in, asked us our dietary preferences and gave us samples of 2 different types of Chicken curry as well as lamb curry. My husband said the lamb was good (I did not try) and we liked both chicken. She also offered us a sample of the Mandarin Cardamon drink which was good but too sweet for my tastes. We both decided on burritos with help of the sweet woman and ordered Punjabi By Nature and Chicken Tikka Masala. They both were spiced nicely and very filling! We had also ordered sweet potato fries to share which came with 2 different dipping sauces, a tikka sauce and a curry catchup. It was a wonderful lunch and enjoyed it! With plenty of vegetarian options that go far beyond your classic Indian menu items, I opted for the Karol Bagh Thali platter, an absolutely enormous selection of paneer curries rounded out with deliciously spiced rice, pickles and a mound of naan and papadums. It was a feast, and I appreciated the variety that was included on the platter, allowing me to sample numerous items for a good introduction to their menu. I also ordered their gulab jamun, or honey balls, for a deliciously sweet ending. On return visits, I have sampled their equally as delicious and enormous samosas, paneer tikka, and kadhai paneer. Pick up is easy and COVID friendly, and I have also had seamless delivery. I called ahead to see if they would accommodate my daughter's medical needs and they were so kind and understanding! Alfya was so sweet and helpful; but the food!!!! We ordered 5 orders of their Naan because it was so GOOD! The sexy fries and mini simosas were to die for but the star of the show was the Butter Chicken! Got the paneer kathi roll, which was filled with sauteed paneer, egg, bell peppers, and onions. The flavor was pretty good, although the filling was heavy on the peppers and could have had more paneer. It came with waffle potato chips on the side. The crunchy chips were a nice contrast to the softer kathi roll. The prices are a bit high, but the portions are large and filling. Lots of great vegetarian and vegan options as well. Their tikka masala and naan bread has a weird taste. There is a curry up now on the BeltLine in Reynoldstown. I recommend that location for tikka masala. Tikka masala is my favorite curry and I always order it from different restaurants. I understand everyone has their own recipe but theirs is so different to where I don't even I like it. Their moong dal halwa is to die for! Definitely a must! The thali with aloo gobi ghee paneer makhani and their kulacha naan is great! One of the few restaurants in the States that make the pav (bread) crispy on the 'tava' with butter when you order pav bhaji. All in all, a MUST TRY! read more

Love this restaurant for its vegan options and explosive flavors. The pictures were taken Friday, June 26, 2020. I work in the area and C.U.N. is a favorite lunchtime eatery. I recently tried the vegan protein and was pleasantly surprised at the soft chewy texture and intense flavor. I rarely select meat substitutes in my vegan dishes but theirs was worth the try. I enjoyed it so much that I was back again a few days after my first time having it. I will most likely be back again this week! The Daal Lentils are a creamy, delicious comfort food; combined with the cauliflower rice to leave you full but not stuffed like with the basmati rice. The Vada Pav is one of my favorites; the spicy chutney is amazing and the potatoes are seasoned to perfection! In the past year or so I have tried many of the vegan dishes and am never disappointed. I was starving while in Decatur and hopped on Yelp to see what vegan options were around me; I found Curry Up Now. I have a friend (non-vegan) who came here and said it was legit good so I decided to try out one of the burritos. I ordered The Hungry Planet burrito on a flour tortilla and when they brought my food to me I had the Hella Vegan burrito on a wheat tortilla.. I'm assuming the lady who took my roofer may have gotten confused when I asked about the samosas before picking the burrito I wanted... but because I was starving I ate it anyway; I couldn't imagine waiting any longer to eat. The main difference between the two burritos is that the one I ordered has a vegan protein and the one that I got by mistake was super starchy with potato filled samosas and chutney (I didn't get this because I didn't want anything sweet or too starchy since it already comes with rice and chickpeas).
