Food, ambience and service was good as always. I also got a sangria but it it was soo good and forgot to get a picture.

Got sat right away (on Father's Day), staff was super nice, and food was delicious! Music was play, but not too loud so you could not hear. There is hand back hooks on every table! Everything was fantastic! I think the only things that weren't so great is bathroom (which it was busy so understandable), and had to pay for parking. Would recommend trying (especially the soft served Marg!)

Oh my GOODness ... oh my GOODness! Rreal Tacos in Decatur, GA is a very lively place! I was there late night after arriving in GA from a late flight. I'll start with the parking. It might be a challenge finding a spot to pay for, in this hot spot lot, but it can be achieved. The ambiance inside of the restaurant is dim lighting. However, the atmosphere is bubbly with music and people having a good time. The service was great! Being my first time there I wanted to try a few things. I enjoyed the Esquites, the Tempura Fish (Cod), the Tostada with Beef Brisket and the Picanha with Steak. Everything was sooo flavorful. To drink I had the Pineapple Aguas Frescas.

Cool, chill taco spot. The interior is decorated festively and definitely transfers you to Mexico! There are several tacos with many types of protein to choose from; I went with shrimp, al pastor, and pichana. The al pastor was my top contender..juicy and flavorful! The pichana (grilled beef) was a bit tough and the shrimp were just shrimp. My server sold me on getting the house-made corn tortillas but I should've gone with my go-to flour. The queso was pretty artificial and got cold and chunky very quickly. The drinks were not super strong..quite mixer heavy, but good. Overall a good Mexican spot. I'd return morseo for the ambiance than food.

The food and drinks every real tacos are consistent at every location. My grip is that they now no longer give chips and salsa for free and you have to pay for it. Also, the service is so detached. The restaurant was only about 40% filled when we went, and our waiter wanted us to Use the QR code code to place our order and to pay. He only came to the table once on his own to check on us, and I had to flag him down for napkins. He was kind, however, real tacos makes so much money, I find it hard to believe their hard pressed for chips and salsa, and can only staff Five people to work.

I love this location, and they now made their drinks to go! The staff is always friendly, there are always managers walking the floor discretely ensuring food is quality and service is fast. Prices are moderate- there are a range of margaritas, starting with their house around $10 going up to the $16 range for speciality drinks. I had a queso and added a cup of salsa for about $3.50. The tempura fish is 10/10 with the mayo and slaw. The hot sauces at the table complement everything you eat. With the to-go drinks, good margaritas and delicious tacos... they are coming for TDS (iykyk) Shout out to Thalia our server- had a great time and she even packaged a slice of Tres Leches for my bday :-)

Rreal Tacos is definitely a vibe. The place is lively, festive, and honestly loud, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner this isn't it. But if you want energy, fun, and a good time, it delivers. I tried the coquito and it was authentic with a nice creative twist. I also had the sampler with guacamole, cheese, and salsa, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The drinks are strong, the atmosphere is fun, and it's easy to end up enjoying yourself a little too much. It can get pricey, but it feels like you're paying for the full experience, not just the food. Overall, a dope spot to hang out, eat good, and expect to leave a little buzzed.

Service was great and fast. There's free parking in the back, paid parking in the lot up front. However, that price can fluctuate as it's owned by the city. Drinks were great and the decor is really nice as well. Had the taco combo (birria and picanha), queso, and a margarita. The food was tasty. Consomé is sold separately from the birria taco so I skipped it since I only had one taco, I would not eat that again without consomé but also wouldn't pay $3 for it so oh well!

Loved the Halloween decor! They really went all out! It was definitely busy even on a weekday night. Glad we were able to get seated still. We got some chips and salsa, tacos, the Halloween birria taco and a burrito to share. The chips and dip were good, the salsa was not too spicy. I will say the fish was a little overfried or maybe too much batter? Could only taste the crispy oil not much fish. The burrito was really packed and flavor was good. We also got some holiday drinks and they were strong!! Because it was super busy our server definitely had a busy night too. Overall, love their decor and can't wait for the next holiday decor.

As soon as we arrived, we were quickly seated, and the Halloween decor here is amazing. Our server, Rolland, was so kind and offered recommendations for my dietary needs. We started off with chips and salsa, which were good. The Sangria was really tasty, and my sister loved her Passion Fruit Margarita. I ordered the burrito bowl with grilled vegetables, and I was so impressed with the portion size. I took half to go and had it the next day for lunch. The parking in the lot here can be very expensive, so I definitely recommend parking at a metered spot on the street.

I was visiting Decatur for the weekend and our friend suggested this spot. First off, I want to talk about the stellar customer service they provided. We were dining with a baby and a stroller and the staff rearranged a few tables to make sure that our large party was seated and comfortable while still making sure other customers could easily exit. The decor of the place is very well done. Space is large and a nice ambiance. You can tell that thought was put into details of the restaurant. Since we had a large party, we ordered the mango margarita pitcher and the taco platter. The margarita was a 10/10 and the pitcher allowed 2-3 drinks per person (we had a total of 6 adults). As for the tacos, they were pretty decent. Not the best but not the worst but definitely hit the spot. We ordered the birria, asada, pork belly, and the barbacoa. The pork belly was a little dry and took a bit more to chew but otherwise, everything was good. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would come back next time I'm in town.

Thanks Rreal taco! Leaving a dear friends memorial service and decided to gather together in her memory, especially with her love of mexican food. As we were headed there, I called and made a reservation. They have parking for free right behind the building. In the lot of the restaurant, the parking can vary. Its very expensive in my opinion. About $22, craziness. We had to wait about 5 minutes bc they were trying to figure out the best way to seat us. Party of 6. It was a Sunday, after the church crowds of course but it didnt take long at all. After we were seated, our waiter was very professional and so attentive. I ordered the Watermelon Margarita Tequila blanco, watermelon, triple sec, lime & agave $13. 10/10 great drink with the tajin! For my meal I went with the Costra cheese taco with pico de gallo on a flour tortilla with chicken and the Quesabirria Birria Barbacoa Quesadilla with cilantro, onions and consomé $14.99 Thanks RREAL TACO! Will most definitely come back.

We've been to Rreal Tacos once before, but at another location. We were in the area so we decided to stop by. While we were being seated we requested another table because we didn't want to be in the middle of the room. I guess the table we wanted was for 3 people or more so the hostess told us no. That was super odd to me because why the heck not!? So what if we only have 2 people, it was a table that sat 4, not 6. Also it was not busy at all. The hostess literally rolled her eyes when we asked for a high-top against the wall. I watched her try to seat 3 other parties at that same table and everyone refused. She wasn't friendly and the only time I saw her smile was with her coworkers. Our server made up for the hostess's lack of customer service. She was efficient, friendly, and attentive (I wish I could remember her name). The food was decent. I had the tempura fish taco, and the costra taco with chicken. If you're not a big eater and you're getting the costra taco, that might be all you need. It's super filling.

Does this location have outdoor seating in fall/winter?

I called for you and they said no outdoor seating in the winter unless the weather is in the 60s

I normally don't eat at restaurants that are located in Decatur due to having to pay for parking. Does this restaurant validate for at least two hours?

No, you are charged as soon as you park. Even the streets have meters, but if you can find street parking or a parking deck it is cheaper than parking at the restaurant.

Small enough that if two people exhale at the same time, someone has to step outside. And yet -- the tacos are outrageously good. The shrimp tacos arrive like they have something to prove. Then come the fish tacos: crispy, flaky, absurdly satisfying little miracles that make you temporarily forget every bad seafood taco you've suffered through in your life. Now we must discuss the horchata situation. I am convinced horchata at Los Niños is either a legend, a social experiment, or a spiritual concept. They *never* have it. Ever. At this point, I assume someone walks in every morning asking for horchata and the staff simply whispers, "Not since the incident..." Still, none of it matters because the tacos are phenomenal. You leave slightly cramped, mildly confused about the beverage program, but deeply happy.

Overall, the service felt inconsistent, unaccommodating, and honestly disappointing. Not the experience we expected for a casual spot! Ben (Manager) and Christine, I am genuinely disappointed and disgusted by how this situation was handled. The moment Christine learned that the burrito was intended for a homeless man, her entire demeanor toward us changed. The individual in question was not harassing customers, panhandling, causing a disturbance, or even standing near the restaurant. He was quietly minding his own business near the MARTA station, an area where many members of Decaturs unhoused community are known to gather. What disturbed me the most was not being told "no" it was the lack of humanity and compassion shown throughout the interaction. No one should be made to feel judged or looked down upon for wanting to help another person get a meal. Ben, this is something worth reflecting on as management. employees generally represent the culture they are taught and allowed to display. The fact that a customer could be treated this for a simple act of kindness raises concerns about the values being practiced within your establishment. It is especially disheartening to witness this from a Black owned business. Many of us understand what it means to face headships. adversity, and being judged on circumstances. Anyways, I hope neither of you ever find yourselves in a position where you must rely on the kindness of strangers for your next meal. The truth is that most people are far closer to hardship than they realize. We are all one unexpected emergency, setback, or missed paycheck away from needing help ourselves. A little compassion goes log way. There are plenty of restaurants thought Decatur Square that treat customers and fellow human beings with respect. Those are the business will gladly support moving forward!!

We visited after a graduation celebration and were looking forward to a memorable meal. The experience got off to a rough start with hosts who were not particularly warm or welcoming. Once seated, things only went downhill. Our waiter seemed disorganized from the beginning. We ordered appetizers first, but they arrived at different times, and to make matters worse, the graduate in our party received her main entrée at the same time the rest of us were receiving appetizers. I politely explained that it didn't make sense for one guest to be eating her entrée while everyone else was still eating appetizers and waiting for their meals. His response was confusing and didn't really address the issue, so we let it go. Unfortunately, the graduate's steak was served cold. Rather than preparing a fresh one, the restaurant simply took it back and returned it about two minutes later. It appeared to be the exact same steak based on how we had left it when it was sent back, and while I'm not sure whether restaurants typically reheat food or prepare a new dish altogether, this one was reheated. To make matters worse, the graduate ended up with a stomachache after eating it. As we continued waiting, our entrées never arrived. The waiter was polite but extremely inattentive. We repeatedly had to flag him down because he rarely checked on our table. After a VERY long wait, I asked about the rest of our meals. At that point, he admitted that he had forgotten to place our entree orders altogether. He then had to take all of our orders again and submit them to the kitchen. By the time our food finally arrived, we were no longer hungry and were extremely frustrated, despite remaining patient and courteous throughout the entire experience. The entrées were decent, but nothing exceptional, especially considering the extremely excessive wait and service issues. The waiter did bring a small dessert for the graduate, which was a nice touch, but it felt more like a complimentary gesture because he had forgotten our entrées than a genuine celebration of the occasion, especially given how disastrous the overall experience had been. What should have been a joyful graduation celebration turned into an exhausting and disappointing dining experience. While the waiter was polite, the service was slow, disorganized, and lacking attention to detail. Overall, this was a poor first experience and not one I would be eager to repeat.
