Butter Naan Garlic Naan - amazing and made fresh - would definitely recommend with the buffet or any curry items
    Omair J.

Went for lunch buffet around 2pm so I'll judge and review as a buffet rather than fine dining restaurant. The buffet had a good selection of typical desi dishes including: 1- fried items (samosas, pakoras) 2- curries (chicken tikka masala, goat curry) 3- chicken kabobs (seekh, tandoori) 4- vegetarian (daal/lentils, palak/spinach, chana/chickpeas, and mixed veggies) 5- desserts (gulab jamun, kheer/rice pudding) All the chicken and meat items were halal which was great so we could try everything in the whole buffet. All the items had decent flavor. I just wish I'd gone a little earlier in the day when the buffet items were probably more fresh but that's not their fault. The standout and best item we had was definitely the naan which was made fresh to order for us and it tasted great with every item we had from the buffet. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean with a pleasant decor. Overall, I think this was pretty good value since the buffet was only $18 per person (you can't even get a sandwich or burger for that price now) so I'd recommend if you're looking for a nice Indian lunch meal with a wide selection of items without spending too much.

Sweet you rock and sweet you roll Lunch Buffet w/ Karahi Goat, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Seekh Kebab mostly and Garlic Naan

I've often remarked to friends the only thing missing from great Indian food joints is the ability to get as much of the entrees as one wishes without sacrificing quality. Any time I go to a classy Indian restaurant I can never get to the point of feeling full from the one or two dishes like goat curry that are amazing. But, on the contrary, when I try out a new Indian place that has an inexpensive lunch or dinner buffet, their entrees leave a lot to be desired. That's why I'm astonished Tatva not only brings it when it comes to their goat curry, their chicken tika, and other dishes, but it manages to do so beneath the umbrella of their $18 afternoon buffet offering from 11-3 every day they are open, they manager to put together a great offering of dishes that more than pays for itself within the first plate or two. I love their goat curry, even if it isn't as spicy as I would normally like. I know not everyone likes their curry as fiery as mine but I'm just glad the curry manages to be chunky and savory and just right. The chicken dishes too were quite succulent and flavorful. I think the service was really good. I love how everyone was on the ball as far as refills and answering questions about the restaurant. They took a but in picking up the check once I had placed my card inside, but that was the only blip in an otherwise fabulous lunch experience. Everyone was just a professional there. The ambiance was memorable too. It's not a huge location, but I never felt cramped or constrained. There were plenty of tables for their usual patronage I'm assuming, even for a weekend lunch shift. It felt very cosy and warm to be in there and I'm assuming everyone just digs the vibes overall because it very much lives up to its advertising as an Indian Fine Dining joint. I only wish I could get out there more often. If it was just a few miles closer, I guarantee this would be a weekly visit for me.

This place has an upscale vibe with chic decor. Came here for their lunch buffet and at 18$/person, it was a pretty good price! The staff is lovely and refilled our water in a timely manner. The food is great and they have a variety of dishes. The samosas and veggie fritters are a good starter, with sweet and tangy tamarind sauce to pair. I enjoyed their chicken tikka masala, veggie korma, palak panner, and tandoori chicken the most. You can never go wrong with gulab jamun for dessert, though I do wish they have mango pudding. Still a fantastic meal. Great experience overall!

The food is so good, wide variety of options in the lunch buffet. The people inside the restaurant are so nice and service is great. Nice music inside restaurant, very clean. 20$ for the lunch buffet is ABSURD VALUE WOW!!!

$18 yummy weekday lunch buffet (closed Tuesdays)

Really enjoyed their $18 lunch buffet! My faves are the chicken tandoori, garlic naan that I drown in classic chicken tikka masala and gulab jamun that I dip in rice pudding! soooo yummy! We will definitely return to try their dinner menu. Food served piping hot, refillable soda and friendly servers. Can't beat this lunch deal!

Started out with one of the best appetizers I have ever had the Kabab hi Kabob. The flavor was off the charts, good portions and everything was cooked perfectly. The service was equally impressive. This is an excellent place for fine dining. The entrée was equally as delicious. I had the Murg Kaali Mirchi. I couldn't leave without trying their amazing dessert, see my photo, they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

We enjoyed the lunch buffet - a very nice selection of entrees, sauces & desserts. Lunch comes with (garlic) naan. Good spice level. The restaurant decor is nice, too. We'll be back.

What a nice and beautifully chic Indian restaurant. Enjoyed the happy hour menu with both veg and non options. Loved their lahsuni gobi, crispy on the outside and well cooked and soft on the inside. Paneer tacos were delicious, but a bit dry for me. Paneer kabob was good. Our server, Dio, was kind to give me a sample of the Mango cart beer to taste, which was very good. Good service, food, and ambiance.

Had the pleasure of trying this place recently. Came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was quiet at first but as soon as 1pm hit, the crowd rushed in! The good was great! From the vegetarian options to the chicken and rice, desserts and palette cleansers On the way out, this place is a hidden gem! Situated in the back corner parking lot of Imperial and La Palma to the right of the Tesla building. The decor was so lovely! We enjoyed the velvet green seats and light fixtures. The food was delicious! The tiki masala was my favorite along with the garlic Naan and rice pudding. Will definitely be back soon!

My hubby put me in charge of finding a caterer for an upcoming event. His coworkers exgf's current bf loves this place so i decided to check it out. Definitely reminds me of orange curry, but the lentils clukd use more water. Samosas are cute and tiny but a bit spicy. I wish there were more appetizers. Service is top notch!!! Very attentive, had my water filled several times. I generally hate korma but the veggie karma here is very delicious. Love the music!! Upbeat, but relaxing. One star off because the food is TOO thick for me. The naan was thick, the pulses were dry. I would have loved to go for seconds.

    Lunch buffet ready to go.

This is a beautiful, intimate spot, and the buffet smelled amazing. In fairness, we just ordered a mango lassi to go because we were in a hurry, but we wanted SO BADLY to stay and eat. My wife and I visited last week on a rainy day just before lunch on our way to another appointment. (The lassi was excellent.) We used to come here often when it was Curry Out- and we lived close by- but this is the kind of restaurant I always wished it would be. We'll definitely be back.

We drove down from Riverside to try out this new restaurant for lunch. They opened up 6 months ago. This location used to be Masala Curry. They have lunch buffets for $18 from 11:30 am to 3pm, everyday except on Tuesday, because they are closed on that day. They serve menu items during dinner. The inside has changed from previous owner. Inside is a much cozier and fancier looking decor restaurant. They have a bar now that sells beer and wine. Lighting is dim and music is relaxing. It's a very chill vibe in here. We got greeted and seated right away. Service was good. There were two servers helping us. They kept cleaning up our dishes and refilling our water. There were about 3 other groups here. The buffet area was clean and food was fresh. The garlic naan was made to order so it was steaming hot but so good! Food choices during Sunday was pretty much your typical items that include chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, saag paneer, navratan korma, tandoori chicken, samosa, dal tadka, chana masala, kadhai paneer, gajar halwa, chicken biryani, and chicken sheet kabob. They only had rice pudding for dessert. I wished they had more dessert options. The total for 2 lunch buffets including tips was $49! We definitely would take a drive down here again for the buffet.

    Chilli pakora(mirchi bajji)

Ordered chilli pakora, and it tasted absolutely incredible--perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Chef Govind and his staff were super kind and accommodating in making it with genuine care. We truly felt their passion for food in every detail of the preparation and it shows how much they value the experience of the person enjoying it. The ambiance is top notch and all the items we tried(Lasuni gobi, egg biryani) tastes great! I'll definitely come back to try more.

I think I had been here once before for takeout of something small, but never for their buffet. When we came in, it was frankly kind of hectic. I was warned over the phone when asking about the lunch buffet that they were hosting an event but were still open, meaning it would be crowded if we came in for lunch. It definitely was crowded, 70% of the restaurant was reserved for this party, leaving just a few tables near the buffet open. We had to wait a bit to be sat, which I don't think would've been typical on a normal day. We were offered to sit at an open table and just went to serve ourselves. The buffet was clean and looked hot, but several items were running low or completely out. They have some standard offerings like tikka masala, daal, and goat curry, as well as some more Himalayan-leaning dishes like the stir fried noodles. Now, some of these details might make it sound like a subpar experience for lunch. Even if it was, this buffet was only $14.99. That's essentially the price of a fast food meal anyways. Furthermore, whatever food we did have was very solid. Even having sat out for some time, it was evident that the food was seasoned and cooked very well. To me, many of their dishes tasted even better than some I've had à la carte at other restaurants. They also brought fresh baskets of garlic naan out during the meal. The staff working there even offered for us to help ourselves to the mango lassi that I believe was set up on the bar for the event that day. Even while busy, he was sure to help out restocking plates and refilling water when possible. For the price, I think this buffet is 100% worth the visit, and I'm sure it's even better on a normal day.

According to the host, they hosted a party at the establishment the night before. We asked for the table to be cleaned, however instead of cleaning the booth, he directed us to a booth adjacent to the one we were seated at. The new table we were seated at, to my surprise, had more crumbs on the seats. I told myself that I'll just brush off the seat, no problem, but we were a little hesitant now on purchasing food from this restaurant. After about 5 minutes, the host came back to our table, mood changed, and seemed to have a "customer service" demeanor and started apologizing. We saw another couple get out of their booth and leave. Apparently, he told us what he told them: the chef is too drunk to prepare any food at the moment and they cannot serve us. Baffled, my family and I look at each other and say it's fine and hurriedly got out of the booth. We were all in disbelief that they would open the restaurant with nothing prepped and what we experienced just now. We appreciated how honest he was, but from the get go, we knew it might have been a mistake to step through the door. It's a shame, this restaurant just opened and this is business seems very unprofessional.

I got the combo for my protein (lamb and chicken); I would suggest the lamb because it's not super gamey and it's very flavorful. As for the chicken, I thought it was okay. It was a little dry for me to be honest, even after with the addition of the white and green sauce. I also got the fries there and they came out fresh, hot, and crispy. Seasoned simply, but it still was very flavorful (way better than basic plain fries from a fast food restaurant). SERVICE: Service was simple/fine. We just had our order taken and that was it. They did bring our food to us rather than having us go to the counter which I thought was kind. PARKING: Parking is all free! It is in a busy plaza, but there are plenty of open spots all over the place. INTERIOR: The interior was fine, nothing fancy or extra. COMPARISON: I would definitely recommend this place over Halal Guys by a LANDSLIDE. I have always gotten stomach aches from Halal Guys despite going to several different locations. I have had Naz's twice now and I haven't disappointed by what I've gotten. They also have a buy 1, get 1 free deal on DoorDash that seems to go on every so often! TLDR: I would recommend this place, especially if you're craving this type of flavor/cuisine. It's open late, quality is consistent, and the price to portion ratio is great.
