Oof. Sorry this is one of the worst food experiences I've had in a long time. I reached out to the…read morebusiness but haven't heard back, sadly. Which is really a shame, as you guys should really stick to hummus instead of harassment. While my friend was purchasing hummus, the man at the stall made numerous comments (almost 10) about my rear end. I was standing off in the corner, listening to the band play and he commented that'd I'd be good at Arabic dance because of "my fat behind" (The word he used started with a and rhymes with sass) And he kept reiterating it. I even asked him for clarification as I was stunned. He did indeed clarify that "mine was not a flat one." And that I had a big behind. It got to the point where the lemonade stand guy was glaring at him. I was stunned and contemplated civil rights and lefts. I decided to just walk away, but what the heck was that?! Yeah nah. Don't do alladat. Yall got to get that together because that man was too comfortable doing that. I am certainly NOT the first woman he has harrassed.

I stopped by a strawberry vendor, and honestly, they were the best strawberries we've ever had--so fresh, perfectly ripe, and nothing like the ones from the supermarket. We also picked up some kefir yogurt nearby that totally exceeded our expectations. It was a bit more expensive than usual, but definitely worth the price.

The parking lot is not full and there's a lot of space. There are approximately 3 veggies stands, 2 fruits stands, hummus stand, 2 bread stand, meat/fish stand, cheesecake stand, flower stand, and a few food stands. I've found that while this farmers market is small, it usually has what you need. I do find that the produce can be quite pricey! I primarily choose to visit, due to the exceptionally sweet fruit. I rarely find oranges, Asian pears, and apples as sweet. So when I feel like dishing out a few extra bucks for some delicious fruit, I'll treat myself. With that said, holy gosh are the prices expensive! $5/lb for Asian pairs and other citrus fruits. $2.50/lb for napa cabbage(that is usually $.69/lb at the grocery store. Yeah, I get that it's a farmer's market, however, it's no longer what it used to be. We used to solely buy produce at farmers markets, now it's not possible unless you're making a solid income to afford $5/lb oranges. Overall, clean and tidy farmers markets!
