The guy was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to offer suggestions and tips. When I got my knives back they included a little note with a recipe to test them out and ab"thank you". It was really nice and I didn't know they give a portion of sharpening and class sakes to pay off student lunch debt (which is a ridiculous thing tonhave exist). They hold monthly classes for skills and sharpening as well as custom orders. If you can't make it during the day they have a drop box behind the shop you can put your knives in and they'll text you with updates. I will definitely be coming back for any knife needs.

It was a challenge being separated from my knives, and I'm a serious enough cook that I was way nervous about entrusting my precious Wustofs to a complete stranger (I'll be honest, it was a pretty emotional moment for me... I was almost hyperventilating as I drove away). But they did an amazing job, and even seemed to get the emotional attachment to sharp objects. I forgot to save their contact info after the first time I brought my knives to them, and I took me a long while to track down this business. I had to bring my knives in to kitchen store places in the meantime, and I've not been happy with the service or prices for this service elsewhere. So I'm glad I found them again-- reunited at last!
