I was able to get a last minute appointment this evening for full leg sugaring. Amber was outstanding. She checked me into my appointment and performed my service. She walked me through all the details of the process and went above and beyond helping to get some of the ingrown hairs on my shins from years of waxing. They have a small waiting area out front with water and small snacks and candies. Everything here is super pink and extremely clean and honestly just such a great energy. I really enjoyed how Amber asked if I had any allergies prior to starting the service and walked me through the clean ingredients that would be used on all products. Sugaring does not hurt at all compared to waxing and this officially is my new favorite service spot. Easily located on E Ridgewood Ave. Parking can sometimes be difficult depending on your appointment time.

She will take care of you, her prices are out-of-this-world amazing (affordable), and what really separates her from the rest is that she WANTS to help you. I personally feel that when you're doing something that yields permanent results, you should do your research in finding a qualified professional to help you with your issue. This person for me is Ann Di Marco, Certified Electrologist. My first phone call with Ann fully convinced me that she wants to help me and is the most qualified person to do so. We played a bit of phone tag, but she made sure to return every single call I made to her. She willingly answered all the questions I had regarding electrolysis, her experience, her methods, etc. I scheduled a one-hour session with her at the end of the phone call. She moves quickly and doesn't answer the phone during your session - she respects that you are paying for the time so she doesn't waste a single second of it. $75 is what she charges for one hour (I included a photo of her pricing list) and she refused to take a tip! This only furthers my original belief that she really does want to help people and isn't in this just for the money. She stops very briefly to cool down the area that she is working on and frequently checks in with you to make sure you are comfortable (or at least, as comfortable as you can be with this type of appointment). Her office is quite easy to find and on a main avenue in the town of Hawthorne. Parking is available in the back & Ann personally greets each guest. Reservations are required, but Ann is flexible and will work with you to find a time that works. Recommended? Highly so! I am really looking forward to my future sessions with Ann. Also, one final note - only cash or personal check is accepted. NO credit cards.
