Janice saved me!!! I had gone to a salon close to my home and 3 times I went. Showed a picture of exactly what I wanted and not once did it come out the color I asked for. Hair salons are hit or miss. I had to color my hair last minute and after three attempts, I found Salon Salon. They were just about to close and they kindly offered me to come back tomorrow. I explained that I did not have time to make an appointment but my mother was coming for her birthday and I just wanted to look nice for her. And guess what... they stayed. After I was done, I thanked them and the owner said: it's about customer service... I could not agreed more! The place is really nice, friendly, and they have awesome music (provided by Alexa). Love this place. I always get my hair done here by Alyssa! She's so nice. She is a great conversationalist but also knows when to not talk which is nice especially because some hair services do take some time. My hair always comes out so nice, no spots when I dye my hair and she doesn't cut too much off like other salons do when you ask for a trim which is nice because I can actually grow my hair long. Clean studio. They have products for sale but they don't really advertise it which is nice because you don't feel like they're trying to squeeze every penny out of you. read more

Dominic is a hair stylist expert...always happy with my cut. the key to a good barber is consistency..a barber is only as good as your last haircut and Dominic nails it every time. He is appointment only so call ahead to make sure you can get on the schedule..it fills up fast. I went there to get my hair dyed and a cut. When she was dying my hair she left the chemicals on me for an hour and a half and normally it would be 20-30 minutes. So the chemicals BURNED my head. A week later I had scabs ALL over my head and it was EXTREMELY painful. That was my first time and I never want to go back. read more

I had a appointment today and ask for a trim because I'm trying to let my hair grow long. The person working on me had turned me away from the mirror so I could not see. This was my new go to salon. Owner is wonderful the people I've dealt with are lovely. Love the place. One MAJOR complaint... my dad went to get a haircut here and the girl flat out refused to cut his hair... not only did she refuse she did so with a, "Im not cutting his hair" accompanied by a contorted and disgusted look on her face... Im big on customer service, while they've always been kind and accomidating towards me, I genuinely don't appreciate the way my father was treated... at all. It was extremely rude and completely unprofessional. After having dealt with only the owner who is nothing but gracious its sad to see the way the staff drives away clientele... including loyal customers, such as myself. Thanks but I'll pass on the poor service and judgemental attitude. Some of those girls need an attitude check. They wont be keeping clients with that approach. read more

worst haircut ive ever received. apparently "a LITTLE shorter" means nothing. I asked for my sidebangs to be cut a little shorter and they are now falling ABOVE my eyebrow and it looks ridiculous. I also said "i HATE pin straight hair" and the reply i got was "well, that's how i do it" and walked out with my hair as straight as an arrow. will not return under any circumstance. read more

I went with a Groupon (and did not receive the deep conditioning that was included), but I received tons of compliments on my hair for weeks to come. Salon the Salon did my bridal party's hair for my wedding. They did a fantastic job. Janice did my hair, and she did an excellent job. She created such intricate ringlets that most people thought my hair was a weave! I do not remember the names of the other women who did the others' hair, but my bridesmaids were very happy as well. Erin did my makeup, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is young, so I was a little nervous about how she would do, and I hadn't had a trial. She was super patient and made my makeup very very natural looking. At first I thought there was too much eyeliner (I wanted SUPER natural looking makeup), and she swiftly removed it without complaint. The final product was beautiful. I have worked with other makeup artists who have badgered me into heavier makeup (citing the photographs), and she was really good at listening to what I wanted. I will definitely have her do my makeup if I have another event in the area. read more
