Today was unique as I had not had a haircut since this whole COVID-19 thing started and so she had a lot of clean-up work to do. My first haircut there, months ago was just ok. I hesitated to return but I will admit, I was desperate after 2 months of no haircut. I was frustrated by the scheduling, I was scheduled at 11:05 and finally sat in a chair at 11:40ish. I was told that there was a 'scheduling mistake' and granted, he was polite, professional and apologetic but I felt I was switched around to fit in a regular customer with another stylist but in the end, it worked out cause Kristen was amazing. I will return because of her. Quality cut and high-end experience.

Don't lie about it. If you can't then I'll move on. But when you wait until you're in the middle of the cut to realize you don't know what you're doing, that's not acceptable. Did you think I wouldn't notice what a mess you made of it? I was actually speechless when she turned that chair around. But I was a good sport about. I told her I didn't like it but she could just stop. I paid for it and even gave her a tip. But please know I'll never come back. Just be honest and pass up on that one haircut. It's better to not have made that $35 than to get it and a bad review.

Common trait in these overpriced hair salons, your barber will most likely try to start a conversation with you, which is probably the reason for the extra price you are paying for. My barber didn't really seem to care so much about what I was saying and was seemingly acting out of protocol. Honestly, I would've rather have a 30 min of silence and a reduced price then that blatant example of a forced conversation. As for the haircut itself. She messed up. She tried to hide it by slathering on gel to adjust it, but it was obvious at that point. Didn't want to start an argument so I paid and went about my day. I won't be coming back though.
