All his translator would say is "not possible" which offended me because I kept asking why] At MiMi Salon, Roy is so patient & skilled with cutting, coloring, & styling. Roy is a magician with hair! He also speaks Cantonese. Annie was fantastic with helping me explain my desired vision. This is SPECIFICALLY what I wanted! I love how the Violet-blue melts into my black hair. The prices are very reasonable, and the hairstylists know how to work with my daughters' hair, which makes the whole process so much easier. I hesitated to return but I will admit, I was desperate after 2 months of no haircut. I was frustrated by the scheduling, I was scheduled at 11:05 and finally sat in a chair at 11:40ish. I was told that there was a 'scheduling mistake' and granted, he was polite, professional and apologetic but I felt I was switched around to fit in a regular customer with another stylist but in the end, it worked out cause Kristen was amazing. When I chose to let my hair grow from a pixie cut, he did a beautiful job to help me grow it out gracefully and cute at every stage (a nearly impossible feat). He has his own space at Mattison Avenue salons in Richardson, so it's a bit more of an intimate space, but I love it and all the beautiful plants he takes care of by a large glass window with lots of natural light.
