Custom Garages just installed cabinetry and epoxy flooring in our garage. They were absolutely awesome from start to finish. We worked with Gary, James, Kenny, Carrie, Tony, and Brandon and they were each exceptional to work with. The value is 10/10 and we're so happy with the final product. I've already recommended them to friends. Awesome company and product.

If heaven were a garage, it would be ours! Thanks to custom garages for helping to make it so! We had a minor change originally planned for our dingy, dark and very unorganized hodgepodge garage, I mean, who cares about a garage right?? (Well, we do.. now!) It all started with replacing the 12 year old water heater.. then we thought, well, let's go tankless, going tankless meant we had to put electrical hookup outside and while we were at it, why not have some garage lights put in? (we always hated that single bulb for a two car garage that faces north!) Oh! And let's add a couple outlets. Then all of a sudden we realized in the chaos of our garage, where would we put them? And when we can see the mess and horribly stained concrete floor (with the new lights), well, let's do the floors. That's when we found organization heaven (I mean, custom garages). We came across them looking up epoxy floors, I was completely tempted looking at all their Yelp clients with these gorgeously clean garages showing only smooth cabinets, slat walls and NOTHING on those amazing floors (I mean, this is HGTV drool!!). All of a sudden we were renting a pod and demoing wire shelves. The owner and staff of custom garages were wonderful to work with, they gave us ideas for designs, suggestions on where to place the chaos and worked with what was needed for our life and stuff. We ended up modifying their design a bit to incorporate a small workspace, and one of those neat "Costco storage" bookshelf things where you can reach in to grab surplus paper towels. It turned out AHH-MAZING! Needless to say, I'm a big fan and now hang out in our garage on the regular. My kids and I sit on the floors of this garage and do projects, my workouts are surrounded by cabinet serenity and all is well. I had no idea a garage could be so transformative but even a trip to the beach became a delight when I knew right where everything was from the beach chairs, luggage and sand buckets! Thanks Gary, Carrie, James and the whole team at custom garages! Helpful tips: Bins: we had every size and shape bin imaginable before. But when I took measurements of our new cabinets I went on the hunt for a bin that would fit the new cabinets well enough that would utilize the most space on the inside - with two depths of cabinets to work with (yikes!) - 24" depth and 17" depth. In comes the incredible ezy bin at target - these bins fit both sizes perfectly! the pictures speak for themselves (you can thank me later): https://www.target.com/p/ezy-storage-52-8qt-ip67-waterproof-storage-box/-/A-81967134 Cabinet hardware: Custom garages offers hardware but I saw another yelper who had these gorgeous oversized handles and "in for a penny, in for a pound", I asked him about his handles and after no reply, I went on the hunt! I found these awesome handles on wayfair from hickory hardware. We got 18", 12" and 6.5" length handles with recommendations on size per door from custom garages. They look so good! https://www.wayfair.com/home-improvement/pdp/hickory-hardware-skylight-collection-kitchen-cabinet-handles-drawer-pulls-bathroom-hardware18-in-center-to-center-ymf10625.html Side note on the shelves and getting things that were not complete the final day of the project: 1. we had a damaged shelf that they noticed and took back to replace 2. We had a missing door 3. We had 2 missing shelves Custom garages mentioned they would have to come back by to fix these, they said next week but it ended up a couple weeks - we didn't mind and they are a small company, they have jobs in different areas and they aren't always near each other. Either way, they really took care of everything and they delay gave us time to figure out what extra shelves we needed and they helped put in some hardware that hadn't arrived before the install. Really amazing service and these guys weee so great to work with. 10/10!

Custom Garages installed cabinets, overhead hangers, and slot wall in my garage. I received quotes from at least 4 different companies but I was very impressed with the work quality and overall dealing experience with Custom garages. Gary was very informative and printed a clean design, gave some really good advice and made sure we maximize the usable space. Carrey in the office was really helpful and all the guys in the team, Terry, Nate and everyone else was super friendly and the job itself was quick in n out. I would definitely be coming back for any garage needs in the future, they have a customer for life. Great service!

Vanessa made it possible for me to settle in quickly and calmly. She unpacked everything with care and saved all the packing paper so she could take it to recycling or post it for pickup. She asked thoughtful questions about how I live and how I use my kitchen, bathroom, closet (even when my closet was not yet built out!), dresser, and garage. Because of that, every item ended up in a place that makes sense for my daily routines. And she still let me know that if the system is not working she will come back to tweak! Her systems are outstanding and she and Priya executed it to perfect. The labels she created and the inserts she found to fit my drawers have made my home easy to navigate and easy to maintain. My kitchen has never looked more organized or more beautiful. Friends told me I looked fully moved in within a week, and that was entirely because of her work. She even offered to help us find anything after she left, since she knew where everything was. He was super thoughtful about removing and hauling things like the carpet I tore out. Prices were aligned with others in the area. I liked that Brandon does the work himself, from quote to finish. He completed 4 closets over 2 days. The closets themselves have shifted the whole feel of the rooms. Definitely an upgrade that I'd highly recommend! Lessons I learned, that you may want to heed... if you have access, get in and paint the closets ahead of time. He will do touch ups, and paint over small areas previously occupied by screws, closet bar supports etc, but that doesn't include full painting. In my case the Master closets hadn't been painted since before I moved in 18 years ago - they suddenly looked dingy contrasting with the new materials. It's none fun painting after the fact! Same thing with any flooring updates. Fortunately, I was able to tear up the carpet the evening before he did the last 2 closets. Give yourself the gift of a fully finished, high end closet. You'll thank me later!

After asking me a few questions to determine my needs, he put together his recommended layout- it was exactly what I wanted. His work is articulate. Everything lines up perfectly, matches perfectly and is symmetrical. I cannot say enough how great of a job he did. I would definitely recommend him over any of the larger closet companies as his prices are beyond fair, reasonable and affordable. What I love about this set up is that it's adjustable. I can move the rods up/down depending on how long my clothes are. The shelves are adjustable as well. My closet is now my favorite part of the house.

The first step was Danielle came to our home for the initial assessment which was helpful and so worth the additional cost because she helped us brainstorm so we could get ready for they came for the actual declutter and organization. She just has the eye for where things can go and how to reuse what you have to make it work. She says she's not an interior designer but she does appreciate "eye candy" so to me that's all I want. After meeting with her I knew we wanted to use her and her company to help! Also side note- Danielle is just the sweetest person and when I met her I just felt like she was an old friend that I hadn't seen in a long time, you'll love her! The second step was she gave us a wishlist and we ordered things so it would be here and ready! Danielle was awesome with giving different suggestions for bins ect so that it would match the aesthetic needs I was looking for. She also brought things from the container store on the actual day of the decluttering. The third step was the actual process of cluttering and organizing ! We had Fernanda and Klara come and they were nothing short of spectacular! They were so friendly and kind and loved my kids and dog! They are both hard workers and I know we'll use miss clutter again in the future and I want both of them to come to my home! They were efficient and so organized and had great ideas for items I didn't quite have places for. After the whole process was completed my kids have been able to put things back where they are supposed to go and my living room is not a mess anymore and it honestly feels like a miracle! I can't thank Miss clutter and the whole team enough! I will be using them again in the future and if my husband gifted me miss clutter for a birthday-anniversary I would be thrilled because an organized house = organized mind set = happy wife = happy life

I am floored by her customer service and true desire to deliver for her clients. I stand by my experience, but stand by even more by Danielle's desire to deliver to her clients. *** Miss Clutter sends hard-working people to your home to organize things. I was a bit disappointed by the experience, because what I truly needed were systems put in place better than what I already had in place. The lead organizer did suggest a wonderful fix for an issue I had, so I appreciated and was grateful for her thoughts on the kids' art corner. Really grateful fix with furniture I already had in the home. Wonderful win! But I didn't get any other suggestions or any issue-spotting from the lead, nor suggestions on how to improve flow in the home. I suppose my own experience with other declutter businesses--like House of Love with Colleen Collins--outshined this one because I am a tired mom who needs someone to lend their mental energy to figure things out for me: how to better organize the kids' clothes, how to create flow for my own clothes and how to create a more peaceful office. Instead, I found myself directing the helpers on what I wanted because they did not have much to add in terms of solutions or issue-spotting. Even in terms of decluttering, when I asked whether I should get rid of a particular item, the answer was "It is up to you." I know it is up to me, but o need your help. That is why I'm spending thousands of dollars on help: because I am tired and need your advice and help to declutter, and see if I have issues in my home. Danielle said she could see several issues in my home based on the videos I sent her, but I didn't really get any advice on those issues. I suppose that is why it is really helpful having Danielle's input, but she never made it. She said she was going to stop by, but was unable to. I texted her afterwards, and she sent me some entryway products, but that was the extent of her input. Another pain point was when I needed to declutter the kid bookshelf. The lead suggested I look through it and see what I wanted to get rid of. I had to ask her to remove all the books so that I could go through them one by one, then have them put them back. I know it was the end of the day, but we had at least 30 minutes and I was surprised that I had to request them to remove the items. It's hard to declutter a bookshelf when the books are stacked on the shelf. There were other examples of how I had to ask them to remove all the items so I can make decluttering choices. They did not ask whether I had other kid books/clothes/items in any part of the house, so there might have been items that missed review. As long as you come into the situation knowing that it might just be people organizing, you'll have a great experience. They make everything look beautiful and clean. I'm a mom of two kids, so the places that only saw things folded and put back will sadly last for a couple of weeks only, but if that is your aim, then you've found the right business. I hate to write a review like this, because the three people worked SO HARD and were so kind. But I felt like I was sold on one product and given another for the same expensive price tag.

This is a problem, because: 1. Each time I emailed, a different person answered. Probably 20 emails over 1 week were arranged before I could get a quote and schedule cleaning. Because emails would usually arrive late at night or around 2-4AM, I guessed the emailers were located outside of the US. 2. Phone calls are not effective. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

On the positive side, the cleaning itself is decent, and the ladies who come to the house are always very nice and respectful. However, their punctuality and communication are major issues. They are consistently late - often upwards of 30 minutes. What makes it incredibly frustrating is the complete lack of proactive communication. They will wait until the exact time they are scheduled to arrive to tell me they are running behind, or they will say they are showing up "soon" and then take over half an hour to actually get here with absolute radio silence in between. This has wasted my time on several occasions and forced me to push back my own plans while waiting around for them to show up. If you have a completely wide-open schedule and don't mind waiting around, their cleaning is fine. But if you value your time and expect basic professional communication regarding ETAs, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
