The original design didn't work with the space as the floors were uneven. The rep came back out with technician and came up with a solution that worked. We weren't able to get it in before the end of the year because we didn't know how uneven the floor was until it was self-leveled out. Glad they were able to come up with a successful solution. The carpenter they used was great and a perfectionist. Once that was done and notified that the glass was cut and ready for installation. Enrique and Andrew came out prompt, professional, and completed the installation within half the time of the allotted window. These have only been installed for a couple of weeks, but so far we are very happy with the investment, service and quality of work. He suggested that we should invest in a better quality door without a frame so that it would be easy to clean and aesthetically more pleasing to look at. He told us that he would be happy to fix it on the spot but that purchasing a better quality door would serve us better. I agree'd with him as we were so tired of the lesser quality door consistently getting dirty and the frame was always an issue to keep clean. Warren took some measurements and ordered a custom door for us that was affordable and looks so nice! This took a week or so but it was worth the wait, we were still able to use the shower with one side working of the old door. Our new door is very nice! Warren is a concerned business owner and wants to do things right. We recently discovered a severe leak that completely saturated our subfloor and ruined the ceiling of our downstairs family room. In our search to find the source of the water damage, we ended up having to remove the heavy glass shower panels ourselves. What we uncovered was shocking. They originally installed our glass shower using high-quality hardware from C.R. Laurence (CRL). However, the installers completely ignored the manufacturer's technical specifications from day one. Instead of using the required two structural screws per bracket to secure the heavy glass, they only used one. To cut corners, they stuffed the second screw hole with silicone. Because they skipped critical structural hardware, the glass panel was able to shake and shift. Anyone looking at the official C.R. Laurence Technical reference documents can see that proper mechanical anchoring is required to prevent flexing. Over time, this constant micro-movement completely compromised the waterproof seal, acting as a ticking time bomb that slowly destroyed our subfloor and ceiling. When we sent management clear photographic evidence of this blatant installation failure, they hid behind the fact that it has been six years since the installation. Even though this falls outside their standard "warranty" period, a warranty is meant for normal wear and tear--not to cover up initial negligence and structural shortcuts. Their response was insulting. They claimed they "saw nothing wrong" with the job and had the audacity to argue that leaving out half of the required structural fasteners "would not have been the issue." We didn't even ask for a refund; we simply requested that they send a technician they actually trusted to reinstall the panels correctly now that the error was exposed. They couldn't even bother to offer the time to fix their own dangerous mistake. A company that doesn't follow basic manufacturer safety guidelines and refuses to acknowledge a verified, botched installation is dangerous to hire. Avoid them at all costs.
