I don't like leaving negative reviews…read moreand as a former business owner, I always strive to resolve things with the business before taking to the internet. This is a lost cause. We called over a week in advance for an inspection on a house we are closing on, already in escrow. I let the person booking know that we needed a sewer inspection and that contingencies were being removed so it was crucial that we get the inspection as promised. I was told we would get an estimate for services in advance. Despite calling back three times prior to the inspection, I never got an estimate. It was too late to find a new service. On the day, we were able to get a price, which seemed fair. Our window was 12p-2p. Alan, the tech, showed up at 2:30 and only when it was time to do the video inspection of the sewer did they discover that the battery for the video unit was not charged. They dispatched another battery, but our realtor had to leave by 3:15, and there was just not enough time. How do you show up to do a video inspection and not have a charged battery, not have a backup, and not KNOW in advance your battery is dead? OK, not great. Alan promised us he would return at 10:30 the next morning. I explained to him that this meant we'd have to book another night at the hotel, and incur expenses for the dogs, food etc. All in all, it cost us an additional $350 because of their failure to bring a charged battery, Not happy. My jaw hit the floor when Alan informed us that there'd likely be an additional charge to come back the next day which was a Saturday, but then quickly backtracked, saying it wasn't his call. We spoke to someone on the phone who assured us that since the error was theirs, they wouldn't uncharge us for having to come back the next day. Well, thank you SO MUCH. Needless to say, the next day, after having incurred a $350 hotel stay, plus dining, toiletries, etc. NO ONE SHOWED. The realtor was with us, having left her family for the appointment. After 40 minutes of trying to figure out where the hell Alan was, we were told that unless we paid the additional $150 - again DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE WHICH ALREADY COST US AN ADDITIONAL DAY AND $350 - no one would show. And they didn't!! UNREAL. The guy we spoke to on the phone was cold, displayed no remorse or empathy, It felt like a total shakedown. What a great grift - have your battery not charged and up-charge people for it when you can hold them up in the wild. We ended up calling USA Drain and Plumbing who were courteous, understanding, and sent someone right out to do the job at a fair price. They also wrote a great report. Again, I hate to write bad reviews as you can see from the vast majority of my reviews. This one though left us no choice. I wish there was an option for ZERO stars.

On the rare occasion when things changed, Ryan or one of his team was in contact with me to let me know what was going on. When issues with the permits came up as they often do, they handled them efficiently and effectively. Rarer still, when something went slightly askew that could have been avoided, Ryan took complete responsibility, and we were back on track instantly. My sister lived out of town so I worked with Graham and Gregory for many days just in the planning stage because my sister has a very large lot somewhat pie shaped and hard to figure out. She did not want a pool just two separate water features. Gregory was very patient with the plans and plant selection. We even met him at their nursery to pick out all the trees and plants! And Graham is such a nice man , extremely knowledgeable, and he tries very hard to please and always comes through on his word. He has great knowledge and experience, which was invaluable as we designed our system. He listens and asks good questions, so he understood our priorities and goals. We came up with a cost effective plan that meets our needs really well. It's installed now, and we are very happy. Mark was with us through the whole process including finalizing our design (he recommended a panel upgrade that didnt cost much and seems to be well worth it), permit application and HOA approval and install (and after). Our home is in an older neighborhood designed by a well-known desert architect, so the visual effect of the system was important to us and to our HOA. Mark and his guys came out twice to do mock panel demos to make sure everyone (including the HOA) was satisfied and to get us through HOA approval, which went without a hitch. Install went well and Mark was key contact through that whole process as well. I had questions, and he made sure they were addressed immediately. Mikayla is another powerful asset at Sunlogix. She's invariably the one who picks up the phone when you call the office, and she seems to know everything. If you manage to call when she doesnt know the answer to your question, she knows how to get you through to the right person, right then. Any time Ive had a concern, she's been helpful and able to get me an answer right away. She is always pleasant, every single time. They've both provided great follow-up since the system went it. Mark came out and walked us through the system, making sure we understood all the parts and what to do when things come up. He walked us through the app and all its uses. Several years ago I installed a different system at a different house in the desert, with another company who installed it and then disappeared. No follow-up, no training, no service. This is why Im sensitive to service during the permitting, install and after. Sunlogix, has been the opposite of our previous bad experience. They have been great. The whole company, especially as represented by Mark and Mikayla, seems to be in this for the long haul. BTW I also met Glenn, the CEO of the company, when I dropped by to check out their offices. He was personally interested in our project, eager to make sure things were going well. We were getting ready for our insurance renewal and need someone to come and actually show up and KORD did that. They were great, on time and cheaper then what we paid before. We had our pool refinished from white plaster (that was starting to peel) to an aggregate finish (mini stones tropics blue). Kelly suggested we check out the NPT showroom in Palm Desert to view all the options and it was a great idea to see this stuff in person. He did most of the work in 2 weeks (pebble finish, retiled the water level, added a few turtle tiles, replaced the Pool and spa lighting to LED (we went with a color one for the spa), and he also fixed numerous issues with our heater.
