I am extremely disappointed with Custom Mist's lack of professionalism and customer service. After scheduling a Winterization Service for my foggers for Tuesday, November 19, 2024, between 8 AM and 11 AM for $175, the technician failed to arrive during the scheduled window. At 11:36 AM, I contacted their office to find out why. I was told they needed to contact the technician. Twenty minutes later, I was informed he was still at a previous appointment and would be arriving shortly. This was unacceptable as I had rearranged my schedule to accommodate them, avoiding clients that morning. Since I had commitments later in the day, I requested to reschedule and expressed my expectation of a discount for the inconvenience. They assured me they would speak with management and get back to me. Three days later, on Friday, November 22, at 10 AM, I still had not received a follow-up. When I called, I was told the manager was "in the field" and would contact me later. At 6 PM, I received a text saying the manager would reach out the following day. Finally, on Saturday at noon, I received a call from "John," who was defensive, unapologetic, and dismissive of my concerns. He offered no discount or apology for the inconvenience and simply insisted I reschedule. To add insult to injury, the service fee had inexplicably increased to $195, $20 more than my original quote. Reluctantly, I agreed to reschedule, and John assured me the office would call on Monday morning. By Monday, November 25, at 10 AM, I had still not heard back from Custom Mist. Frustrated, I called Koolfog, who offered to service my system for $115 and could send someone out that same day. Their technician called at 11:25 AM, arrived 10 minutes later, completed the job promptly, and sent me the invoice within 15 minutes of departure. It is now 12:30 PM on Monday, and I have yet to hear from Custom Mist. It is clear they do not value their customers, even after purchasing a $5,000 system. The lack of communication, accountability, and respect for my time is unacceptable. Kudos to Koolfog for stepping in and delivering exemplary service. Shame on Custom Mist for their complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I cannot recommend their services. read more

Schedule an appointment to reinstall mister line after an awning was installed. I advised them prior that no one would be there. When they arrived they would not work on my system. After a week with promised call back, I just gave up. The install was arranged around there schedule. Don't trust them, they just kept stringing me along that they were going to show up. read more

I'm furious with this company because they NO longer service if you aren't home, which is not a common practice. My landscapers, pest control, window cleaner, pool guy, electrician, housekeeper ALL provide service without me being present. So I set my appointment way in advance and one week prior to appointment, they sent me a text giving me 24 hours to confirm appointment, which was 5 days out and because I didn't respond in 24 hours, they cancelled my appointment which wasn't for another five days. If they are THAT worried about being stood up by customers, they should ask for a credit card payment in advance! I would have gladly given them payment but don't cancel on me 5 days prior because I didn't respond in 24 hours to your reminder text. I don't know who now owns this company but I liked the old company better. To be honest in 40 years I've never had this happen where 1 week prior to your appointment, a company cancel's. Then the owner accuses me of threatening him when all he needed to do was offer A SOLUTION. Instead he was aggressive and a horrible response. Then he proceeds to go back in time to tell me they had to came back twice one time a few years ago...my husband remembers this episode which was Custom Mist didn't do a good job, so we had to have them come back. Also while the owner was on the phone with me, I could hear this woman in the background, yelling...so unprofessional. I've dealt with this company for 10 years and I'm done. read more

We have had Custom Mist service our misting equiptment before. I decicded to clean our nozzles which I have done in the past. Well today I dropped one of the nozzles and after searching for a while a decided to give up. So i went over to Custom Mist and they helped me out and got me the nozzle I needed. The customer service and service received at our residence was amazing. I called several other companies but just wasn't feeling the vibe. (So many businesses, these days act like they're doing you a favor.) Custom Mist was quite different. They immediately called me back with an estimate and once the technician arrived on site he was quick, methodical and clean. (He didn't leave a mess). When he noticed I provided the wrong measurement for the leaky pressure line he quickly informed me.
