Do not recommend. New garage door installed with a dent. Once the panel with the dent was replaced the bracket was installed crooked and an extra hole was drilled into the garage door. When I brought this to their attention they stated it does not affect the functionality of the door so they will not fix it. In other words they are ok with sloppy work. My appointment was between 8-1pm, close to 1pm i called and spoke with Crystal and she said they were running behind. I said ok i just wanted to make sure i was still on the schedule. 2:20pm i called and asked if someone was still coming. She said yes i told you that it was after 2:30pm and i said oh i didn't hear that. I said because you know we waited all day and we didn't get a call, she claimed that she told me raising her voice at me!!!. But I said after I called. I understand that you are running behind, but for her to raise her voice to a customer when you are already running behind. i'm not getting a free service, i'm actually paying for the service. Bad customer service, i wish i knew that's how she treated people. But i thought they were a good company because before i made this appointment a guy actually i spoke to was so nice and helpful. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and meticulous when replacing the weather stripping. I'm very happy with the quality of his work. Pedro even gave us a quote for J-Struts to add support for our garage, since we live in the edge-of-civilization area of Henderson and the wind is crazy at times. I would highly recommend this company, I have had a couple issues with my garage door in the past year and a half and have had the absolute pleasure of getting Pedro as my garage door repair man (sorry if I have the wrong term) he is always very friendly and knowledgeable about everything and answers any and all questions and concerns I have. Recently I could not get my garage door to open, Pedro went out of his way to call me and walk me through how to reset my garage door and getting it working again with no charge to me. The company is also very affordable when I first called and they came out to service my garage door not closing. My brand new home was recently completed and I reached out to CSG to discuss insulating the garage door. "M" is the tech who came out and explained the door was already insulated and offered to install a seal to help keep more air out. I loved this idea because I didn't even know it was an option! He also suggested better rollers for sound, which I happily agreed to. I was able to choose a gray color that complimented the tones I already had with the epoxy floor. It really looked seamless and he did an outstanding job! Since the install, even on the super windy days, when it is literally howling outside, my garage is quiet and is considerably less dusty. We were having issues with our garbage door not closing, the button had to be pressed multiple times. I googled a few things but I could not find the solution. I finally called the company on the door opener, the lady was nice, I told her the home was only 3 years old and we were having a issue. Unfortunately it was still out of warranty. So she stated that we can send a tech out and they could diagnose it for free, if you would like to proceed with the repairs it would be $118 plus parts, which was fine. The tech comes out and looks at the garage and immediately states that it needs to be lubricated. He then proceeds to lubricate the henges. Get this, then he charged us the $118.. are you serious. I have WD40 in my garbage!! I'm requesting a full refund. read more

These people are complete scam artists. They installed my garage door sensors out of alignment which caused the garage door not to close whenever the sun was out but to work otherwise. I called them and scheduled a FREE evaluation of the issue. The tech kicked the sensor back into place. Literally two seconds and no work. I did not agree to any service. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm not even that picky, just treat me like a paying customer trying to give you some business. I've been trying for a week to get an estimate to work on our garage door that is under warranty with these guys because they installed it and I have not gotten an estimate yet. I've sent them (14) emails and called and left messages numerous times. Now I have gone to another door company which will void my warranty but at this point I don't care. These people are worthless. I don't like to post negative reviews but my experience with this company was so shocking the story needs to be told to protect others from contacting this company. I called Custom Specialties Group when our garage door stopped working. I called this company because Pulte used this company to install the garage door. When the tech arrived he took opener down and told my wife the top gear was melted and would be $450 to fix. When I went outside to speak to him he said it would be $750 with the installation. I asked him if we could simply replace the parts and he said not to bother because it would cost more than the opener. When I told him I may just go buy one myself he said he could install it for me for $200!!! So now it's clear the guy was trying to scam me and he wasn't even smart enough to think about me doing the math and realizing the price today was $350 to install but tomorrow it's $200. Wild. I wanted to give the owner of the company a chance to remedy the situation and let him know about the rogue tech. When I called and recounted my story they called me back a few minutes later and denied ever saying the device was melted. You will see in the picture posted below it is in fact NOT melted. In addition they told me it would now be $825 to replace the garage door opener. How did the price go up another $75 dollars the next day? It was clear the technician was caught in a lie and now the owner was price gouging. I decided to call the manufacturer Chamberlin and was told the parts had a 5 year warranty. Chamberlin sent me the parts for FREE and I easily installed the replacement motor. I put the garage door opener back up and it's working perfectly. This company has zero ethics, zero integrity and deserves to lose their contract with Pulte. read more

Absolute worst experience of my new home warranty experience. This company is awful. I have had a total of 6 scheduled appointments and every single one the rep showed up without parts that were special ordered for the problem. They constantly scheduled appointments wrong or the rep would show up outside of the window promised. I paid extra for them to seal my garage. The garage is not sealed at either corner, on the top or the bottom. It is an absolute joke and the biggest waste of money. The rep also left HUGE shards of sharp metal in my garage, in my landscaping and in my driveway. So dangerous! I called to inform them that the garage was not sealed properly and never heard back. I called again a week later and they are refusing to come out again or to refund me. I have now gotten the builder involved. Brandon and Crystal have been my main points of contact and have not been fair, reasonable or helpful in resolving ALL of the issues I have had with their services for the past 10 months. They both turn the issues on the homeowner and the builder when they are the only issue. read more
