I needed to install a hitch on my 2011 MBZ E350. Called many places and either the quotes were steep or they needed my car for the entire day. Some places wouldn't even call back or return my email. Not saying names but "A&B Trailer Hitch" sounds familiar. "Rack & Road" will rob you blind. Anyhow I called this place and spoke with Chad, told me to come down and he'll give me a estimate to be more accurate. So I get there and I'm quoted for ONE hours work $100 roughly. I was a happy camper knowing what the other hitch dealers was charging. So a hour later I come back, I was told my car will not be ready til the next day but "Kenny" went out of his way and got things worked out and a couple hours later my car was ready and promised their price quote. I mean they could've just left it as is but this place knows how to treat their customers. This review is probably overdue, since this is for my second shell installation over the past decade or so for two different trucks (Tacoma, and now F150). Great guys and they work hard to make sure everything is done right. They pick up the phone, walked me through the options without upselling me, kept true to their timeline for the delivery, and busted their tail feathers to get an install done when I showed up a little late for my install appointment due to a work conflict I had. The shell doesn't rattle, and everything is working great. Customer service is pretty good overall. Granted, I should not have to call to find out that my $3,800 shell arrived. Install seemed to go fairly well, although they seem to be kind of rough with things. The new shell has at least one scuff mark, and they managed to not give too much concern for the paint below the tail light where they do a lot of the work to tie the shell into the truck. Now there are a bunch of small scratches through the paint in that area. So, thanks for that. TLDR, nice enough guys, but i wouldn't go out of my way to give them business. read more

Called this place 2 weeks ago to get a quote for work on my vehicle. The guy was very enthusiastic, took my vehicle info, and said he'd get back to me with a quote by Friday. Friday came and went and I never heard back. No biggie - people are busy. I called on the following Tuesday, spoke to a different guy (i think). He didn't know anything about my vehicle or request, but he took my vehicle info and said he'd get back to me. That was over a week ago, and they still have not called me back. 2 stars for customer service. I understand people are busy and it can take a few extra days to get back to a customer, but blowing off a customer is unacceptable. They lost my business, and unfortunately, I also can't recommend them to any friends either. Bummer - I was looking forward to getting work done here. They basically turned away my money when it was a slam-dunk. read more
