Also, tartare served with four half pieces of bread. But, for just $10 more you get four more half pieces. Lastly, if you love dirty vodka martinis, don't order them here. My husband and I had reservations on Sat. Oct.23rd at 6:30pm (party of 2). We wanted to celebrate his birthday. We arrived at 6:30pm, and was given our table. The service was super slow and our waitress hardly came by. We were able to order a round of drinks and an appetizer. By 7pm, we ordered our dinner. At around 720pm, we finally received our appetizer. At 7:45pm, I asked our waitress for an update on our meals. She told us that they were busy and that she would go and check. Unfortunately, my husband and I needed to leave by 8pm to attend an event down the street. At 7:50pm, our waitress said that our meals were not done but that she could place them on a "go to box." once they came out. I asked for the mgr. on duty. The mgr. looked irritated from the start, and immediately started her conversation with us on a bad note/tone. I shared our experience with her, and all she did was juts give us excuses (It's a Saturday night, we are busy... we only have 4 cooks, etc. etc). She offered to put our food in to go containers, but we declined. We waited over an hr. to just get an update on our meal. The mgr. was already in a bad mood, and she didn't seem to sympathize with us and our horrible experience. I asked her to give us the check so we could pay for what we purchased, and she took the bill and said "I got your drinks", and left without saying a word or apologizing at all. We left hungry and without a birthday dinner for my husband. I suggest hiring people that improve your services and quality of experience. Your employees/manager are the face of your business. We had a very negative experience and expected more from this. read more

I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try because it had great reviews. We made a reservation for 12 of us for Saturday brunch and when we arrived we were set up in a little private dining area; very nice and unexpected. The brunch menu has something for everyone; crepes, omelets, shrimp, salmon, French toast, etc and the slab bacon...the slab bacon, oh my word. The place is lovely; a touch of elegance without being overly bougie. The staff are all super personable and very accommodating. We were there during the eclipse and shared our glasses with the staff so everyone could enjoy. It's in the Loews Live Hotel behind Texas Live in case you're unsure. The prices were very reasonable, less than you'd expect with the higher class atmosphere. We will be retuning in the future and highly recommend Cut & Bourbon to everyone in the area, whether you are visiting or a local. Because of the surrounding venues, I recommend making a reservation. read more

Be prepared to spend $$$$ here. Extremely overpriced. Steaks are great. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had the Hangar steak and it was also wonderful. The sides of mac cheese, mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and creamy asparagus were wonderful. The brussel sprouts were not. They were burnt and inedible. Service was ok. Not great not bad but definitely not up to par for the price. My check was $250 for 2 people with 2 glasses of wine and desert. What I didn't like is that the included gratuity is hidden within the check as other charge. Definitely a deceiving way to get you to add an additional gratuity without knowing. Very VERY nice restaurant sandwiched between the baseball stadiums and near Jerry's Death Star. Forget the credit card limit and spring for the ribeye! It's worth it! The smoked Gouda Mac n cheese was delicious too. Service was impeccable. TX Bourbon served over a sphere of ice. Treat your gal to the carrot cake for dessert. We live in the area and were very excited to try Cut and Bourbon for sometime. We went to celebrate a birthday dinner and family being in town. First, the staff is amazing. From the host and hostess to our amazing waitress Roxanne and even the bus staff was friendly and accommodating. We started sitting outside because it was a lovely night. The view of the stadium and atmosphere was perfect. However on Saturdays there is a DJ that plays at the outside bar and it did become a bit loud. They graciously moved us inside to a lovely table with perfect dinner music! We got a bottle of the Prisoner Red Blend and house Chardonnay. Lovely drink and wine selection. For appetizers we got the oysters and mozzarella. The oyster were perfect! The mozzarella was not very good though, a bit dry and gummy. We all got salads (wedge and cesar) they were AMAZING. I would suggest if you are getting a salad as a starter to split it with someone else. They were quite large. For dinner we got the crab cakes, scallops, bone in rib eye, brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. The sides were very good and good size to share for a table of four. The scallops and crab cakes were excellent! My husband's rib eye came out very overcooked - HOWEVER the staff immediately took it away and brought out a perfectly cooked steak which was delicious. I do think they are a bit over priced for the area but really feel like we got a good dinner and such good service it makes the price worth it. Also as a mid city north arlington resident it's nice to have a restaurant you can have oysters, seafood and steak without traveling into Dallas or Fort Worth. read more

Very nice. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We went there for dinner it was about 15 of us so they had to sit us at two different tables. The food was good I highly recommend the cheesecake. I think the dinner menu and the bar menu are different because the dinner menu items are very limited but the bar menu had more food items. The food in general was delicious but the service was TERRIBLE. Sat over 15 minutes before someone came to take our drink order (not our server) then another 10 before the drinks showed up, appetizers came out unfinished (pizza wasn't cut, had to just cut it ourselves with steak knives). Placed our dinner order and the server came by 20 mins later to ask again how we wanted the steaks cooked so clearly she had forgotten to put in our order. The only reason this place is even getting 2 stars is that our waiter was nice and none of what happened was really his fault. I'm a 3 strikes your out kinda person. First strike was we got to the table and they bring us some modified menu cause they changed the menu specifically this weekend....no idea why. Maybe for the holiday? Anyhow my other half had his heart set on surf and turf which we knew from looking online they have. Only it wasn't on the limited menu. Apparently they had no lobster or shrimp at all. Strike 2 happens when we order 2 filets and waiter come back 5 minutes later and says the only filets they have left are extremely poor quality and they will sell it to us but only if we want it medium well to well done. No thanks thats too over cooked and why would we want crap quality steak. So waiter tells us oh we should just get a bigger steak cut up to split. We say ok but don't realize until he brings it out its medium rare that my other half likes not medium...actually to me a few pieces were really rare. Last strike was that part of why I had chose this place over other well rated steakhouses in the area was because they have creme brulee which one other place didn't have and the other choice I was considering had a Yelp review saying their creme brulee was runny and not good. So anyhow I go to order creme brulee and he says oh no they are sold out. Strike 3. $116 dollar mediocre dinner and no dessert for 2 people, one who had water to drink. I really wanted to give a better rating but there were several issues that need attention. First of all the decor is modern and looks great. Seating is comfortable. We were a party of 9 and seated near the kitchen, but the guests on that side could feel the heat. It was apparently our waitresses first table and in spite of issues with having silverware and serving pieces she did a good job and was very pleasant. Overall the food was good but 2 steaks were sent back, one for being too rare and the other for being too salty. And it seems the steaks were generally too salty. One persons lobster pot pie came way after the rest of us got our food. The Caesar Salad was very good. The mashed potatoes and the Mac n cheese and fries were good, but the Brussels sprouts which were described as crispy just tasted charred. And salty lol. They didn't have the white wine we chose and had difficulty finding the second choice. The chef gave us desserts to share and they were generally good. One of the steaks and the bottle of wine were comped. They have some work to do in the kitchen and with their service but they do have potential and we will probably go back. read more
