Best chicken and sausage gumbo in the great state of Texas! ... the sausage stands out with flavor but perfectly balanced with the fresh veggies, chunks of okra, and strips of chicken ... every bite is savory and spicy is legit spicy. I loved it , you won't be disappointed.

Delicious Cajun food. What a menu! Something for everyone. The Boudin Balls were so very good. The sauce perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun atmosphere and bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor reminiscent of 'Nawlins.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They got the food and culture just right.

What a hidden gem in Bedford! The food was fresh, great price and the service was amazing. They had so many options on their menu and we can't wait to come back and try it out.

This crab boil was insane!! The spice/flavor on the seafood... it was a great experience. Service was fast and friendly. Only thing is I wish there wasn't a 2 pound minimum on the crawfish because it was so much food. Luckily, we were able to reheat it later to share it with the fam and the taste was still on point! 10/10 recommend!

Dirty Cajun is a good spot to satisfy that real New Orleans Cajun cravings. Very well seasoned, pasta cooked to al dente and vibes is really what completes the visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area is very busy with 2 other bar and a cinema in the this corner of Bedford but don't that deter you from visiting because all that traffic along Airport Fwy is well worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cajun cuisine is one of my top 3 favorites. Having seafood alone is one of the best meals but cook it Cajun style is one of the best! We decided to try this seafood kitchen even though the traffic here is somewhat annoying especially during rush hour. We tried 3 dishes. Seafood gumbo, New Orleans Barbecue Shrimp, and Cajun Pasta topped with crawfish. All of the dishes were so flavorful! The gumbo color looks really good, the pasta on Cajun pasta was perfect al dente and the handiness of N.O. Barbecue shrimps is just the right amount. This place is definitely worth a try if you are in the area. Traffic can be a pain and parking can be a little challenging at time since they share it with a couple other bars and a theater.

The service at Dirty Cajun was honestly top tier, they check on you at the perfect time, not too frequent but not to the point it feels they forgot about you. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't make you feel rushed and the vibes were great for honestly everyone, they had tables that fit every party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now the food, was delicious, seasoned great and for those who like a little more spice they have hot sauce available. My family tried a lot of different items on the menu and we enjoyed every single item! I will say it does take a little bit for your items to come out but they were fresh when they did. The beignets were also good, not the best as some flavor is missing at least to me personally but I would get them again. If you're missing Louisiana this spot might just cure that craving.

The catfish and grits were very creamy with a lil spice. The catfish was season very well Absolutely amazing definitely could use more bread but that was crispy and butter s as well. The mac was very creamy and the noodles were large. We also got a spicy catfish with red beans and rice that was indeed SPICY and we loved it. The containers helps everything stay warm until we got home. The pick up was quick and easy. Glad we found this place on ubereats we will be back!

We had a great experience at Dirty Cajun Seafood Kitchen! We ordered the étouffée, gumbo, Creole, and the shrimp boil, and every dish was packed with flavor and tasted fresh. The gumbo had a rich, hearty broth, the étouffée was creamy and well-seasoned, and the shrimp boil was cooked perfectly with great Cajun seasoning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'd definitely come back to try more of the menu!

    Crawfish boudin balls.

The boudin balls are huge the sauce that comes with it is a good addition to the flavor. The crabs were great. The service was excellent. Very attentive and always checked on us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had lots of seating it was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time here! We got seated within 2 minutes. Their menus are huge so many items to choose. I ordered a water and piña colada. Piña colada was sweet and tasty! We had grilled oysters which were good. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with salmon. I was already full and was halfway done. Big portions so definitely taking leftovers. My son got the shrimp boil hot and it did have a lil kick and husband had red beans and rice with salmon. We enjoyed our food and definitely want to come back! I recommend it for ppl who love cajun food! A must try!

I'm not sure how I have not been to this place before. However, this place has only been open. One year so I don't feel too bad when I tell you. This is one of Bedford's best kept secrets. The food here is outstanding. Everything is so good me and my friend went here for lunch Last Sunday and it did not disappoint. The only thing I did not like was their dirty rice and the other items are made with pork and I can't eat pork, however, I did substitute, mine with regular white rice and it tastes just as good. We enjoyed our meal. And had some dessert to follow-up. Our server was very nice and friendly. The staff was great. It's a good environment. They also play music in there and they have a good happy hour. It's just the overall great place to go and enjoy you. Some dirty Cajun food, you're in the area, stopped by folks and just try it out for yourself.

There was this super anal retentive Mario that was a server also....his section was geometrically perfect, totally fung Shuy'd out and precise to the millimeter. You could look down the rows of tables and they all were in a row and perfect. Because why not, I moved a tent out of line. For payback, I asked for a short beer and got this. Love it and touche.

Granted, it was first a recommendation by a family member who took a liking to Lazy Dog's food, so I decided to give it a try with my stepdad today. I enjoy their large variety of food options. Their menu ranged from pasta to seafood, including a few selections of fish; I ordered the Grilled Idaho Trout and requested the green beans be switched to broccoli. The food was great; portions were large and I especially took an unexpected liking to their potatoes and french fries. I wished I tried their Truffle Fries as I really like Truffle, but I suppose I'll save that for my next visit. Service was OK, nothing spectacular or memorable. Environment was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating indoors as well. Overall, a decent enough experience for me to come back with family.

Wow, my mouth is still watering after a late lunch. Pappadeauxs has been a special place in my…read moreheart and I guess my stomach as well. First time I went was with my new husband and my parents. My parents live in Hurst Texas and my husband and I lived in Hawaii. We had come to visit my family and have my new husband meet my parents. They didn't come to our wedding as we had decided to save money, and help my big extended family from spending their savings on a trip to a Hawaiian wedding. Instead we had a simple wedding and so we flew to Texas for a celebration. My parents liked to host a lot of family get together, events like birthdays, anniversaries, and moving into town. They would often celebrate their own wedding anniversary at places like Pappadeauxs. So jump ahead 33 years for my husband and myself and 62 years between my parents I'm in town after buying a house to move closer to my aging mother, two sisters still living, a handful of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and all the extra adoptive strays that have joined the family. I'm trying desperately to keep things on the down-low, not wanting my family to know I have finally bought a home and by Christmas will be the newest resident of Hurst. I just had to stop in for a meal before heading home to start the packing. I love all seafood and oysters included. I was going to order half a dozen raw, but my server talked up the new Parmesan crusted cooked oyster and I was battling my growing hunger so I ordered both. The raw comes with three dipping sauces but I'm a big fan of old school horseradish and cocktail sauce. The shucker got carried away and I ended up with a couple of extras, no complaints. The oysters were big fat juicy ones so a few extras were ok with me. The Parmesan crusted were same size, big and fat, the crusted cheese was a delightful bite especially with garlic bread my server had also told me about and I had upgraded. Soaking up the juices with that toasted garlic bread just was a great start to my meal. On the cocktail menu I spotted a guava banana Mia Ti that I just had to order. It was early afternoon and I was delighted with the bump in alcohol. It came with two slices of dehydrated banana's that was eagerly trying to soak up the guava and alcohol they floated in. I ordered the wild caught red snapper white fish, one of my favorite fishes, served grilled with lumps of jumbo crab in butter, lemon juice, spinach and thinly toasted almonds. It was cooked absolutely perfect, just melted in the mouth, not mushy but flaky and the lemon and butter flavors soaking each bite, thinking about is still making my mouth water! I had a wonderful meal, filled with many memories while making new ones. This past year has been hard, I lost my husband almost a year ago then going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to sell my home that I had spent many a good times with my beloved husband. Decisions finally made, I can now look forward to making new ones with all the family I still have living. Pappadeauxs is a great place to enjoy some good Cajun seafood with wonderful service and a place that I hope will continue to create new memories for me as well as my family.
