They were not brushed or blow dried. One of them has clipper burn on his rear and has been miserable since, scooting and licking. Had to take him to the vet today and the tech even made a comment about the loose hair. It was a holiday weekend so I was unable to have them cleaned up again. I was recovering from surgery so was unable to bathe them myself.

They also carry top brand natural dog food that's hard to find and their prices are fair compared to other pet specific shops that offer similar products. In fact, I think they're slightly cheaper than were I went before. Regardless, the atmosphere, ownership and staff make the place if you ask me. Since that time we groomed her ourselves and honestly, we did an awful job. Well Groom Pets was recommended to us buy a neighbor but we had little faith in it working out. I dropped her off and waited for the call telling us that she isn't cooperating and to please come pick her up. 2 hr 15 min later I get a call that she was all done. Walked in the door and she looked stunning. The groomer was so sweet and said that she did amazing. Not only did she look great, the detail and specific request about paws, legs and visor were done EXACTLY the way I requested. Seriously, this place blew me away.

We have a small (20 lb) American Cocker Spaniel rescue. We learned that Petz Place was recently purchased by a Veterinarian and is under new management. First impressions: The store front is a well stocked pet supply store, very clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my dog. She received a wonderful haircut, nails were clipped and ears were cleaned. Instead of the usual 5-6 hour timeframe , she was ready to be picked up in less then two hours (meaning not being held in a crate while they service several dogs in a assembly line style). She was calm and happy when I picked her up. We were so pleased that I have scheduled here next appointment. I highly recommend Petz Place for grooming and pet needs.

The store changed owners in January 2026 and had a grand opening with free nail trims and baths. You will need to show rabies vaccination records before using the nail trim service for your dog. The staff are young and will help if you press them to assist you, but they won't go out of their way to welcome you and offer to help you. I appreciate the convenient location of this store and the products they have in stock. It is the main reason I visit them to buy things like poop bags, squeaky balls, and high quality pet food. It is nice that bathing and nail trims are also available; although I have never used those services here. The staff just seem a little too inexperienced to entrust them with my pet's care.

Her tail is totally raw underneath (even before scooting) and she is in pain; acting like a totally different dog...it is absolutely heart breaking. She came home and the next day had kennel cough even though she has been vaccinated. She also has a cut on her leg from this visit and I am extremely upset and disappointed. $89 for this and now probably a $1000 vet visit too. Do better.

Honestly, I likes Bia's better. The most recent grooming with bia's was scheduled a week out. That tells me that a lot of people use them and many of those that are happy, just don't review. And then I talked to a neighbor who uses them. Like me, they were happy with Bia's. The staff has always been friendly and and takes special care with my blind boy. I will continue to use them and assume the best.
