I know GHQ Grooming has received some negative feedback in the past regarding rescheduling issues, but my experience today could not have been more opposite! I had to call to push back my appointment because with this being my first ever major hair change, I believed my hair is currently a bit too short for the highlights/frosted tips, I wanted. The young lady who answered the phone was extremely respectful, kind, and efficient. Rescheduling took just a few seconds and was completely seamless with zero hassle. I received an excellent haircut and shave from an Asian Woman. Wish I remembered her name for the purposes of this review. My appointment was a last second fill in due to a cancellation. Their fees seem on par with a higher quality operation. I will absolutely return and recommend. Possibly the first 5 star of any hairdresser.

That's not so much on trend I know. Hardly anyone uses a razor anymore. She just point cut it and the layers are pretty heavy. They're not blended in very much at all. It needed at least texturizing shears if a razor wasn't in her skill set. It was cute when I left but once I got home and styled as normal my straightener revealed the blending issues. But it was cheap so no biggie. I can curl it or wear it up for awhile. Cute salon though if you're looking for something simple. EDIT: The manager reached out to me and offered me a recut. It looks so much better now! I should have just given them a call in the first place but I felt like since a week had gone by I had missed the window for a redo. I got a really nice cut where she thinned out the ends (it is pouffier and flairs out) as the top flattens from the weight, so my hair didn't look like the Liberty bell anymore. I've had my fair share of mediocre and even straight up BAD cuts in the past, so I was wary as I searched for someone to fill that void. I called on a Saturday and they were able to get me in with Kim on that following Tuesday. I felt like a fool as I showed up and said I had an appointment with "Ken". Oops! Kim was so pleasant to chat with and after talking to her and showing her a few photos, she whipped up a hairstyle that I walked away SO happy with. I've seen Tara a few times for color/cut/treatments and I'm so happy with everything she has done! She's absolutely the sweetest and actually makes an attempt to get to know her clients. It's so important to me to have someone who actually cares about making sure their client is happy with the service they receive. That's your customers first impression right there, maybe change your message and provide contact info. There was a staff present cutting hair and didn't acknowledge my presence at the door.
