My neighbor has been really happy taking her teen daughter here and doing a mommy daughter time the last two times she had her nails done. It has also been a good reward for her daughter to do well in school she keeps her nails up. For their anniversary I treated her and her husband here for his and her pedicures and I got to babysit their little one. They did a walk in amd had an hour wait. They grabbed a bite to eat while waiting. They do always try to upset her for the extra $15 but she sticks with her guns and doesn't have any issues. This place is a hot or miss at times. I will go because it is close to my house and it is convenient. Frustrates me that one of the girls doing nails (first station on right) is CONSTANTLY on her phone. Not just a phone call but FaceTiming with who I am assuming is her boyfriend. So my girlfriend booked us here 'expensive' she said, but it was her sisters place. Our 3 apts were on Saturday at opening. So we all were the 1st for the day. I was here for a mani and dip color. I had to tell them 3-4 different times 'mani and dip color', which was the reservation. They spoke non-English the entire 20 minutes and put me in 4 different chairs before, each time trying to get me to buy more! $52 for a bumpy dip job, missing the sides and cuticles that looked like the picture 5 days later. Just left the salon about 15 minutes ago and had to write a review right away about the terrible job a just paid for. This is not my normal spot but I went with my sister who wanted to check it out. She, her husband, my husband and myself had appointments for a pedicure at 1:30 and didn't leave until after 3:00 from a "40 minute" pedicure. Took way too long for subpar work. The tech that did mine talked to the person next to her the ENTIRE time and got distracted so many times that at some points in the pedi she was barely even touching my foot. A massage was included in the green tea pedicure but it felt more like a long session of lotion being rubbed on my legs. I asked her for more pressure and she did for about a minute but then was distracted by what must have been some very good conversation because it went right back to lotion spreading. When she started painting my nails she noticed the polish was dry so she put it on a spinner, when she can back the polish was just as dry and was not going on smooth all. Before I knew it she was done moving me to the drying table and moved on to the next person. The pictures below don't show all of the poor work, most of my toes aren't even painted all the way and most of my toes have polish on the skin. So bumpy, I could have done this myself with my left hand! My husband's pedicure was equally bad, he even left with the stuff that is supposed to be cleaned out still under his nails and had a non-existent massage as well. I even paid $10 per more than I pay at my normal place for what should have been the same offerings. Terrible work. Not going back again. read more

I was a walk in and there was one other customer. The dip manicure was mediocre at best. It looks like I have had this nail for a week already as it looks grown out. I paid for an upgraded pedicure so I could get a longer massage, it was supposed to be a 40 minute pedicure. She rubbed in some lotion and that was the extent of the massage. She was done with my pedicure in 23 minutes and that counts the time she was away to go get the lotion, then go get the towels, then go get the massaging stone to rub in the lotion. I asked her to just file my toenails as I didn't want them cut. She cut every single one of them. I also asked her to try and get an ingrown toenails out of my big toe. That was her cue to cut more off the tip on the sides but did NOT even touch the ingrown nail on the sides. This was an over priced dip manicure and pedicure that was hands down one of the worst dips and pedicures I have ever had. Do not waste your time or money going here. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I made an appointment at this business right before Christmas. I have been going to the salon for two years. Typically, when I walk in for my appointment I usually wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes. So when I walked in from my last appointment I wasn't surprised when the person I made the appointment with had somebody in the chair. After waiting an entire hour I was starting to run late on other appointments I had booked for the afternoon. Finally when I sat down in the chair I asked if there was any point to making an appointment and the nail tech proceeded to rage on me. He yelled at me in front of everyone and drew attention to himself while he was yelling. I was scared as he physically was working on my nails and had my hands. I have never been treated like this before after being such a loyal customer for years. I will never go to this nail salon ever again and I warn anybody who attempts to make an appointment expecting to be seen on time. They treat people like objects and appear to only want to collect the money versus giving a good service. Beware of this business! read more

Pedicure was ok, but the water was cold and she massaged one side and forgot the other. I didn't say anything because I wanted to get out of there. Manicure was ok, as well, but she argued with me about using the polish I brought with me and used something white that could have been for French mani tips. Put it on so thick that it puddled up and after 4 days started to chip. I went in there with a three week old manicure, done with my polish. Also, I believe she reused towels. I get my nails dipped and have always been happy with the outcome. I find the staff to be friendly and appropriately engaged. I have been here 3-4 times and the first few times they weren't pushy about what I wanted. However, I went last week and then again today with family and both times they were SO PUSHY!!!! as in they wouldn't take my answer for a basic pedi.($26) She KEPT flipping the menu back to the expensive pedicures $40-60)!!. I know about the expensive ones, I had the Green Tea $$ one last week. I kept telling her no. She kept pushing and pushing and then acted irritated.. what?!?! Its my money you're wanting to spend! No less than 7 times did she keep pushing. She even went as far as going to get a box of green tea pedi supplies to show me and say I needed it. I was SO embarrassed and turned off by her behavior. (I was with my sister in law and her family. ) she did the same with the gel polish ($15 extra!!) And I just wanted regular. I was so irritated. They are FORCING you to spend even more than what you're already paying for. I've been coming here for a little over two years. When I first walked in I thought I was gonna be spending like $100 because of how clean and organized it was which I have no problem paying for! The environment is just extremely relaxing with the calming spa music and the tv slideshows that match every season! I absolutely adore Katie! She's very sweet she know exactly what I want and like and she's super funny! Every time she does my nails they last for a month without lifting or breaking! Horrible customer service. Very pushy. The pedicure lady literally repeated herself 5 times to try to convince me to buy the expensive pedicure. I told her I just got my nails done I was there just to be with my daughter so I just wanted the basic pedicure. When I finally convinced her that I only wanted basic she literally huffed and puffed and had a physical response to it. So I put my feet in the water and it was scolding hot. She didn't apologize she seemed mad at me because I thought it was too hot. But I am a tough cookie and I usually like a little bit hotter than normal water but this was scalding hot literally my feet feel like they were burnt. Then she asked what color and I told her white with white sparkles on top. Again she physically was disturbed stomped off grabbed a bottle of white with silver glitter, and said they don't have any white glitter. She was physically showing signs of being very impatient and bothered. I said it's OK I am done. I refuse to be treated badly by people. I didn't yell I wasn't disrespectful I just told her what I wanted and she was so bothered by everything I said so I just told her it's OK I'm gonna go and I got up and I dried off myself and left. I don't want to blame the salon but I have been there twice for dip powder and both times the powder cracks under the top coat. I will go back to try and have it fixed but then I will find a new place for the future. Before moving to the area I did not have this issue with the dip powder at that location. when I see Caylyn, she does a fantastic job! this last time i had to switch from redoing my gel nails to just taking them off as my husband wanted to take me out for dinner last minute. someone else did my nails instead of her as she was with someone else at my scheduled time. i know they r busy but this was frustrating. he took off the gel polish and nothing else. leftvmy nails very rough. i guess i should have been more specific and asked for a manicure too. when gel is taken off i assumed(my bad) that meant it is ALL taken off but i was wrong! be careful who you use. if you get Caylyn, you will get a fantastic nail tech! i have heatd Katie is good too, never used her. read more

I've been here three times now and only once did I get what I asked for. I picked a color from there color books and got a purple not a red. I showed them a pic and got something different but close. Worst experience ever. They over booked and were very mean, rude, and nasty and said that they were sorry but they were so busy and that's why the attitude. They then refused service to someone waiting two hours. They made the young girls cry and did not want to take care of the mess they had made of their nails. The man who claimed to be the manager and then the owner was just so incredibly rude for no reason. Then told our group if we didn't like it we could call his attorney. All of this unprovoked. My family & I use to love going to this Nail Plus Salon in Surprise, Az until the last two visits. Due to bad attitudes which lead to poor nail service. This last visit the manager asked a rep to provide the medi/pedi. The rep seem mad about it. She was trying to sell me an pedicure option. I advised the one I wanted. She ended up w/ an bad attitude. Still to this day I don't understand why especially she shouldn't be mad over which pedicure service to get. She was extra rough. I ignored the bad attitude until we got to my nails. She burnt me two times while doing my nails. She got upset & said stop jumping because I moved my hands on the second burn. I told her cannot help by jumping since you burnt me twice & cut my cuticle. Then of course she burnt me again! I was done then. She took the towel she had folded under my hands & shook it hard towards me. The shavings flew on my clothes. She wanted me to react but I refused too. Instead I smile which made her more mad. First time here. Read the other reviews and thought nah, can't be that bad. Have been trying to find a good pedicure place since moving to the area. Made an appointment and had to wait 25 min for them to start. Was offered the menu twice, still wanted a regular pedicure. Was the most rushed (20 min max) and least relaxing pedicure I've ever had. Maybe because it was "just a regular" pedicure but I won't return. The application was good but not the experience I'm looking for. First time I've never left a tip. read more

When they first opened it was our go to nail salon. Everything was clean, they were friendly and did a great job while still having very good prices. Within the last year or so this place has gone downhill rapidly. Customer service really goes out the door as soon as you say no to an upgrade of service, they clearly talk about people which is unacceptable, the service has become mediocre, last time I went I had to point out that my big toe was missing nail polish because she was rushing and didn't even paint the full nail, all because I chose a basic pedicure, and my nails looked like shovels, they must have done double the amount of dip that usual, with that being said we are a family of 5, and will never go back to this place, since the service has become terrible and the rudeness is disgusting read more

When we walked in the door they directed us to sit in the chair and start soaking our feet. The ladies handed us each a book and told us to select the pedicure we want. Immediately, they started pointing out the most expensive pedicure and I told them twice that I wanted to look at the other pedicures and decide from there. They pushed and basically took the books from us without allowing us to finish deciding. We were charged $17 to have gel polish. Just for a pedicure. The pedicure was $63 on top of the $17. They also charged extra to take the polish off of our toes because it was gel. One of them asked if we wanted to get our nails done also and I politely declined and said we don't have time. She kept pushing and saying "it won't take long." I continued to say "no" about five different times. It was not relaxing for me because I felt like I was at a dealership with pushy salesman. So, not only are they too expensive but they are very pushy also. One thing that irritated me so much is two of them were talking in their native language and they did a lot of talking while their eyes shifted toward my sister. I'm not sure what they were saying about her but if positive/negative it's socially rude. One last thing is after they put the hot towels on our legs they allowed the towels to get ice cold before they came back to remove them. I will never ever go to this place again! read more

Made an appointment and was in the shop from 1:10-5 for a pedi and dip nail. Zero consideration of my time spent there on a Sunday! I'm a busy mother and I don't have 4 hours to spend to get my nails done!!!! Calvin made my nails so thick with bumps, he had to remove his work then transferred me to another station because he had another client waiting after I HAD requested HIM to do my nails. After he moved me, two different ladies had done different parts of the dip nail process. I've been going here for awhile as it's just down the street from my house. NEVER AGAIN! I will not be back. Staff was extremely rude and condescending. I was cut twice on my finger nails which caused me to bleed. The tools they cut me with were placed right back to be used again on the next client. In the past they have placed acetone on my nails to soak off the acrylic for an extended period of time causing my finger tips to get extremely dry and cracked. Today I asked for the acetone to be removed after 30 minutes and they were very upset by this. I tried to ask them how long my fingers needed to soak and explain why I didn't want it on for the duration of my pedicure as they requested. They were extremely rude in addressing my concern and told me that it needed to stay on until they were ready to take it off. They gave me the wrong book for picking out my color and as we were trying to clarify that situation the employee was extremely rude and made me feel as though I was being problematic. I will never return to this location and I do not recommend it to anybody else. Two other people I am friends with have had similar experiences and have also stopped going. read more

Never will go back to this salon. Been going here for over a year. I always make an appointment. Last two times my girl was busy with someone else. Waited the first time 25 minutes. Yesterday got to my appointment at 12:20, appointment was for 12:30. Once again she had just started a pedicure. Not only was she doing this pedicure she had her phone standing up on her nail cart and was watching a video. Most of the time she had her eyes on the phone. With her ear piece on. After 25 minutes I asked if someone else can do my pedicure. Mind you there were 3 manicurist sitting around. He told me that she was almost done and he would wrap my finger nails as I wait. Now at the salon for 40 minutes. I go back up to him as she has not even started painting the girls nails she was working on. I told the owner that I have been here since 12:20 for a 12:30 appointment and it is now 1:00. I stated once again that I need someone else to do my pedicure and I needed to be out of there by 2:30. He then goes off on me stating that I should not make an appointment if I don't have time. He also stated that one of her customers was 30 minutes behind. I said that is not my problem. He did finally have someone start my pedicure. As she started one of the other manicurist came over to show her something on his phone. She stopped and started texting and it was 10 minutes later when she started back up. The owner also made sure to tell me that the gal I had an appointment with may not due my nails if someone walks in. She will take them first. So needless to say I should have walked out of that salon. There is attitude there and the customer is not first, that is for sure. Been going there since they opened. Chloe spends more time video chatting than paying attention to your mani. I switched to having Brian doing my pedi and Calvin doing my mani. Very happy with both and have brought in 3 more clients. BUT, their scheduling has become atrocious. Several times I came in at my appointment time and neither Brian nor Calvin were ready for me. Today was the worst. Double checked yesterday because I wasn't sure of my appointment time of 11:30. Caylan (I believe she is the manager), asked if I could come in earlier as they had obviously double booked Calvin. I said yes and confirmed that Brian would be doing my pedi at 10:00 and Calvin doing my mani at 11:00. I arrived at 9:55 and Brian had just started doing a pedi for a walk-in. Calvin was working on a mani. After about 25 minutes, Calvin started removing my polish and then realized I had a dip and he had to wrap the nails to remove the polish. I asked why my appt with Brian wasn't being honored and Caylan came over to argue with me and say that the woman he was working on had come in 40 minutes before me. An outright LIE. He had barely begun when I came in. She kept arguing with me and I asked her to stop but she wouldn't. She tried to explain that it didn't matter if I had my pedi done first or my mani. It DOES matter. My nails could have been wrapped before the pedi and I wouldn't have had to sit there for another 20 minutes without receiving any service. She then told me to make 2 separate appointments so that it wouldn't happen again. eShe was so arrogant. Ridiculous to have to come in twice. Calvin finally continued with my mani at about 10:45. Brian came over to apologize but I told him it wasn't his fault. It's obvious to me (and others who have posted reviews), that good, steady customers aren't as important as walk-ins. Same thing happened to my cousin last week (she had to wait 45 minutes past her appointment time), and yesterday to my friend (she had to wait 30 minutes past her appointment time). So... if you intend to go here, don't make an appointment, just walk in. You'll receive better treatment. There are too many salons around to have to put up with arrogance.
